I left a bad review years ago. I decided to go to a different shop because I just couldn't afford the work. They made me believe that Vic did incomplete work on my girlfriends car and that he was over charging and not doing a good job. So I came here immediately, not having thought about it or giving time to see if the other guys shop was really better. Worst decision I ever made. Vic was nothing but nice, honest, and extremely helpful to me every time I went to him. Not only that, but he would say no when I (a young high school kid wanting to do every thing you can think of to a car) asked him to do modifications to my car. Knowing that if he really wanted to he could sell me on anything. So I make this a public apology and update to the very best 5 star review. Because ever since I stopped going to Vic, I've spent so much money at numerous other shops from Northridge, Glendale, Van Nuys, Santa Clarita, Pasadena, and more; and none of them compare to the quality of work that Vic provided to me. Vic, I hope you read this and I hope you accept my apology. Thank you for being the most honest, trustworthy, and helpful. read more

He has a great attitude super honest, attentive, reasonable price, I always feel confident when I leave there. I've gone there about four or five times always leave satisfied. read more

Vic is amazing, I shopped around before coming here and nobody can beat his prices. Finding a good mechanic is like finding a good lawyer it's difficult because all they care about is making money off you. Definitely taking all my cars here for any issue. Fast work no BS. This is where you want to take your car if you don't want to be over charged and want reliable work done. read more

Vic is amazing! He explains everything clearly and concisely and doesn't talk down to people. He charges absolutely reasonable prices. He's very timely and professional. I am a female in motorsports and I wouldn't trust my cars to anyone else! read more

Vic is incredible. Fixed my broken mirror and tail light perfectly and helped with another issue as well. Reasonably priced, quick, and excellent customer service. Can't go wrong. read more

I keep forgetting to write a review but Vic at elegant is the best. I've been going to him for years and while I was on yelp remembered to write it. He's the most honest mechanic. Does not rip you off, does not pretend something else is wrong when it isn't. Hard working, honest, great mechanic and person. read more

I've known Vic for 10years and that's way before I had a license and a car. He's been working on my cars for years, my family goes here and friends goes here. Honestly he's the only one working here. Sometimes ordering parts from places for my car takes forever and that's why I'm here for a long time. I get it, not his fault it it takes a while for the part to get delivered. He is honest he tells me how much it's going to cost. I recently took my car here for a battery change and took him less then 20mins, charged me suuuuper cheap. I called the dealer and they have me a hard time. read more

I have been coming to elegannt auto for years. Vic good people and the work he does is top notch. Highly recommend for your car needs.

My sister told me about Vic and this place since I came back to the Valley 12 years ago. Since then, I ONLY go to him for all my auto repair needs. His work is excellent and he is not the type to "create" issues with your vehicle just to add a little extra cost. He is thorough, top notch and FAIR! If I could give 10 stars, I would. read more

The most honest mechanic I've ever met. I bring all family's cars to him. There is truly no one better.

If you love your car and want honest and true quality work done on it, then this is the place to go. At last I have found an honest and reliable shop that can also do a lot of custom work. Vic is very helpful and really really knows his stuff, and has all the credentials and awards to prove it. He has helped me out numerous times and I can not say enough about the excellent quality of his work. He stays after to make sure the job gets done on time if needs be, and charges extremely reasonable rates, usually cheaper than any other place I have gone. I have had custom work done as well as simple maintenance and every time I have been treated like a king. Thanks Vic and elegant Auto, hope to do business with you all for a long time. I would recommend this place to everyone. read more

Got some work done to my car here. Staff is helpful and emphasizes the point that they want all their customers to be returning customers. Even when i had a few issues with a defective part they did their best to resolve the issue right away. The lot for parking is small but they help you get around that pretty easily. Customer service is the key and they are very good at it. read more

I've been coming here for years. I take all our cars here. Vic is the only mechanic I trust for honest advice. I've customized my old car here and have done mechanical work on many others. Vic always stresses the importance of having a safe car first and puts it as a priority over any other modification. I have sent many friends here to get work done and they all had a great experience. Thank you Vic for all your hard work over the years. read more

I realized I need to leave a good review for this place after more or less being taken at another shop recently. Every time Ive taken my car to Vic (good 10+ years), whether it be for mods to my street car or fixing stock parts on my truck that tows my trailer, he comes through quickly and does a great job. He makes sure you only pay for what's needed/broken unlike many others that convince you that you need to buy new wheels and tires to warranty the oil change they did. There is no BS. This good honest helpful service has become the norm for me. I take everything to him and he fixes it perfectly for an extremely fair price. Thanks for the years of hard work Vic. My family and friends appreciate your skills and love using you too! read more

Vic is a super honest guy. I have been going to him for awhile now and he always give me the best price(believe me I look around) and is so honest. Never tried to hard sell me anything. The best in the business read more

I've known Vic at Elegant since he's opened the shop. He's very honest and very knowledgeable about the cars he works on. I've brought all my cars to him for repairs and upgrades. I've also recommended him to several friends and they're all happy with his work and would keep recommending him to whoever needs work done to their cars. He's the only one I would trust to work on my cars. So if you need any repairs or upgrades done come on down and see him. read more

I got introduced to Vic at Elegant Auto Sport recently through my Fiancé. He was able to rebuild my car and make it run better than before I so stupidly smashed it. I've had good customer service at other auto body shops, but Vic is ridiculous! His work is top notch, it was faster than I expected, and it was beyond fair in price. They went WAY beyond good customer service and I'm recommending all my family and friends go here. read more

Vic is a gem! Honest and wonderful. His work is awesome, and he really did a great job on my car.

We've been taking cars to Vic for the past 3-4 years. All I can say is that you won't fine more honest mechanic in SFV. This guy is GOLDEN. Honest, NO BS, always delivers as promised. Very personal, professional, and just a good human being. GO SEE VIC he is our GO TO GUY! Vic you are awesome. read more

We are all about supporting local business owners and Vic is a hard working, honest man. My family and I have been going to him for 18 years and he has been nothing but kind. I highly recommend this Auto Shop to everyone I know. I send my wife and mom to his shop and I know that they are always in good hands. Thanks Vic! read more

Ripped me off on tire lug nut keys - charged me $20 EACH for keys that were at most $10 apiece. Tried to haggle but he wasn't going to lower the price. I had to have them so I paid and left. I don't mind paying for good work, but this required NO WORK and was just dirty business. read more

I have been there many times and was always happy with the service. I thought Vic was honest and does not try to sell you things you don't need to make a profit like most shops do. read more

Victor is so nice! He help me to get to the bottom of the noise my car was making. Very good dude honestly. Would recommend him to any of my friends. read more

Would not, and do not take my two vehicals anywhere else. Vic the owner is a great person to know, and is the first mechanic I have ever trusted. My wife and I have been going to Elegant now for almost 8 years. Even though we don't live near the shop anymore. Thanks Vic read more

I've been going to Vic for all of my tire/wheel related needs since I started driving in 2003. For my first car (good old Honda Accord) he put some really nice black rims on the car, it was handed down to me from my brother and needed an up do. That did the trick! I remember getting so many compliments! Ever since then I've had 2 BMW's and currently a Lexus which I have needed new tires for all of them, and Vic does an excellent job getting me a good deal and installing my new tires! He also helps me with little things like filling up my tires with air or checking other electric problems and is always so nice about it. My whole family comes here and we are so happy doing so! read more

I found this place through yelp because of good reviews and It's true what all people said, good place.I got my air filter done and I was happy. Vic was great, honest and knowledgeable on everything. Try it out. I prefer going to small business like this compare going to big business company. I'll comeback to this place and would definitely refer on others. read more

only reason why I am giving this guy two stars is because I honestly feel bad for the guy. I have tried to give him my business three times now and everytime was a bad experience. 3 strikes your out! Every time I have been there this guy comes out of the garage like he was just sleeping in there. I tried to take a cf trunk to him a couple years ago he couldnt do it. I ended up trading the car in for a gti and brought coilovers to him to install, thinking it was going to be easy thing. He said i didnt have all the parts for the coilovers and I started laughing cause i thought he was joking.....nope. i took my car to a reputable shop in van nuys and they had no problem installing my coilovers which never gave me a problem while I had them on my gti. Recently I purchased an frs and also purchased some brand new rce coilovers and called him up one last time to see if he could do it, just because he is located very close to my house. I called in the morning, to see what his prices where for the install. He wanted 200 (without aligment) for the install which is about average in this area but told him i would give him a call back later to make an appointment, because i still wanted to shop around to get the best price. I work all day and was busy so I called right when I got off work and Whoever answered the phone must have had a real bad day or is just a pure douche . He answers the phone and i tell him I called earlier about a coilover install and was wondering if i could make an appointment. He says "when do you wanna come in?" I asked "if you have time tomorrow that would be great or saturday." He snaps back at me, "BBROOO you told me your would call back in 30 minutes. BRING YOUR CAR SAT IF YOU WANT IT DONE AND DROP IT OFF IN THE MORNING AND ILL CALL YOU LATER ON IN THE DAY WHEN ITS READY!" At this point im a little confused on whats going on so i asked him, "OK thats fine, about how long does the install take you?" again snaps back "IDK BROOO JUST BRING IT IN SATURDAY." I just calmly told him never mind and hung up. I dont like people telling me what Im going to do with my money and my vehicle. DO NOT even bother with this guy unless you want to be treated like dirt. There are MANY MANY shops out in the valley that have cheaper prices than what he offers with more quality work that really know what there doing, AND know what customer service really means. Horrible shop, would not recommend to my enemies and wouldnt be surprised if this business goes bankrupt. read more
