I had to put it in all special positions just to have it catch a charge. Today I was out of sorts since it was completely dead. I knew it was not the battery. It was the charging port. No charging cord worked for it even though it worked on my hubby's phone. I did some research on cell phone repair in the area and this one stuck out to me the most. Gizmo Pros definitely lived up to their reviews. I called and the guy who answered was very nice and personable. I let him know the issue and asked him how much it would be to fix. He was very straight forward and helpful and I appreciate that. I set up an appt to come in. He took care of it right away. It took about 30 minutes to fix and there is also a Yelp check in for a free screen saver so he took care of that for me. I am happy that I went to Gizmo Pros. This business is not in a very high traffic area for all. It's in the Meadowpointe neighborhood. But definitely go out of the way for this business. Great, honest service and very nice people. The last time I was there, the person at the front desk suggested that I buy their insurance for $41 a month. He said that after 30 days I could get my phone repaired for free. It seemed a tiny bit pricey but I went for it. After about 70 days, and after I had paid for three months of coverage, I needed a repair. I brought my phone in. The very nice woman at the front desk gave me a number to call to file a claim. I called the number and was told that once I filed the claim I had to wait 30 days to get a repair. And I'd have to pay for another month of coverage. (Of course, I had no way of knowing that in 30 days they wouldn't tell me I had to wait yet another 30 days.) I canceled the plan and took the phone to the front desk. I figured since I was there I'd pay for the repair myself -- I couldn't wait 30 days for my phone -- and then I'd cut ties with uBreakiFix. He took all the information and then told me they didn't have the needed part. I had been there for almost half an hour before I was told that. I told the guy that I would be taking my business elsewhere because I that they scammed me. He nodded in agreement and said nothing.
