I had to put it in all special positions just to have it catch a charge. Today I was out of sorts since it was completely dead. I knew it was not the battery. It was the charging port. No charging cord worked for it even though it worked on my hubby's phone. I did some research on cell phone repair in the area and this one stuck out to me the most. Gizmo Pros definitely lived up to their reviews. I called and the guy who answered was very nice and personable. I let him know the issue and asked him how much it would be to fix. He was very straight forward and helpful and I appreciate that. I set up an appt to come in. He took care of it right away. It took about 30 minutes to fix and there is also a Yelp check in for a free screen saver so he took care of that for me. I am happy that I went to Gizmo Pros. This business is not in a very high traffic area for all. It's in the Meadowpointe neighborhood. But definitely go out of the way for this business. They will be a great help for your cell phone, iPad, and lap top repair. They also have cell phone accessories and phones.

After the replacement, my phone's battery started draining much faster. I went back and paid extra to upgrade to an OLED screen, but that replacement didn't even last a few months before the display started failing. Eventually, the screen went completely black. When I returned to have it checked, I was told there was nothing they could do because the warranty had expired. No solutions were offered or help. I had to beg for the gentleman to open it up to at least take a look if anything was loose. Just a suggestion to pay for another new screen and "see what happens." Overall, very disappointing experience and quality of parts.

To try and prove they did the work, they even handed me two old RAM sticks, claiming they were the parts they took out. ​Here is the problem: The Lenovo 3i comes with 8GB of RAM soldered directly to the motherboard, meaning there is only ONE extra expansion slot. It is physically impossible for them to have removed two RAM sticks from my machine. To make matters worse, the extra slot still isn't working, meaning they didn't actually install any new hardware either. ​I paid $100 for a completely fabricated repair and a couple of random old parts from their shop. Don't be fooled by their words. Go somewhere else. Here is attached payment proof..and 2 RAM returned to me..when I check with new repair today..there is a RAM already with motherboard..so havent replaced. When i took my computer home and fired it up...I saw…read morewhere the pictures had been put back in and I tried to open them and it said I didn't have the program to do that. Well i didn't need to get to them...so i didn't worry. When I tried a few weeks later..I couldn't get any to open. I tried to contact him several times and received no response. I decided to take it to another shop to see if they could retrieve any of the data from the disc hard drive and all the files were corrupted and didn't contain enough data to retrieve. They also pointed out that the SSD wasn't even being used...the operating system was booting from the disc hard drive not the Solid State Drive. They advised that they would have transfered the operating system to the SSD and partitioned off the bad start-up sequence on the disc hard drive...that way all of my data would have been saved ! When he installed my SSD to replace the disc hard drive that was operating the system he didn't transfer the start-up or operation system to the SSD. So basically.... he completely wiped my disc hard drive and all of my data with it when it could have been easily saved by a knowledgeable tech. Years of pictures...gone....What a waste!
