Sadly it didn't paste. I'm just sorry i didn't find Julie sooner, but I will absolutely make her my only beauty salon from now on only now I want to make sure others don't wait till they are an aging grandma to find this great and talented owner I was so pleased with Julie's gentle handling and professional additional suggestions that added a softer look for me. I came in sadly with a very uneven haircut from another hairdresser and Julie herself took care of everything! I had asked friends who they would suggest and her name came up several times! I didn't even know about her award until I saw it on the wall today as I entered but had just heard wonderful things from friends that I just sure wish I had heard sooner !!! I absolutely found that here at Manal Studio. I appreciate that they have an online booking system so you're not confined to business hours to work on your plans for the week. The system also sends out text reminders which are always helpful. Upon arrival (free street parking on side streets, by the way), you're greeted with nothing but good vibes. It smells lovely, everyone in there is kind and happy to see you, and there's soft music playing. Ahhh, an oasis. Muna took care of my color and Manal handled my cut. It was really comforting to have the owner with 25+ years of experience cutting my hair. Picking a new salon is anxiety-inducing! Both ladies are so lovely and did a wonderful job on my hair. Manal did a consultation with me ahead of time to better understand my hair color and cut preferences and worked her magic to help me leave with the desired results. I was at old orchard mall and wanted to get them done nearby before a trip, so I found this salon. It's in a small strip mall. I called ahead and asked how much an eyebrow wax is. She told me $10 cash only. I had $9 and some change. She did great with the waxing, it was quick and I don't have as much redness as I usually do which is amazing! She also threaded them after to clean them up, which I've never had done before but it was not painful at all. She said they don't take change, so if you need to pay with card you can but they have an extra dollar fee for using a card. I didn't mind it. I ended up loving my eyebrows more than the place I always go to, which is much further away. I will come back next time for sure! She did an amazing job.
