I've been seeing Michelle for Hydrafacials and laser hair removal, and she has been wonderful. She is always professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive. What I appreciate most is that she truly listens to my concerns and takes the time to explain everything without ever making me feel rushed. She makes every appointment comfortable and personalized, and it's clear that she genuinely cares about her clients and their results. The quality of care and attention she provides is exceptional. I highly recommend Michelle to anyone looking for skincare treatments, you'll be in great hands. read more

Thought my BBL & Moxie was good but have been breaking out for a month with deep sore zits. Now a painful Cold sore on my lip. Every day a new spot. My brown spots are more pronounced & red not gone. Went for eye check up & my dr asked what happened to my corneas- think I got burned. Called salon & they said email the technician w pictures. I did & no response! Not the outcome I expected. I got a full chest session from Groupon for 3 Sean. Honestly, the first session didn't even last 5 minutes. It was really quick and careless, and honestly, I didn't have a good experience at all.. read more

Michelle was very rude, rushed the consult and made me feel like my questions I was asking were dumb. She did not take the time to even look at the area I wanted to get laser treatment on. I left feeling like I didn't want to come back. I understand if it's a busy day and they're more people to see but I am also in medicine and see patients every 15 min and have never once made my patients feel the way Michelle made me feel. She was not interested in explaining the treatments to me and I had to repeatedly say slow down. Definitely not coming back and will not recommend it to anyone. Decided to put my money with a different med spa. read more

I was looking for a spa close to my doctors office and came across SpaDerma when doing a google search. It was my first time in and was unsure of what type of facial to get. I received my first hydrafacial and loved it! The staff was uber nice and had a great first experience. Would highly recommend! read more

I have loved my experience so far at SpaDerma. I have been doing laser hair removal as well as bbl and moxi and have been thrilled with my results. The staff is super knowledgeable (I work with Amber) and I would send any of my friends here! read more

I cannot say enough great things about Maya and my experiences with facials here! She slowly stepped me up to try out new treatments which I've candidly always been scared to try, and was always so attentive and sensitive throughout the process. I've now done chemical peels with basically no reaction (thanks to her technique and after care regimen!) and I'm starting laser soon. My skin has never looked better than when I'm consistently seeing her every six weeks, and I know this because I had to take a break recently due to family needs and it's crystal clear I'm due to come back in. ;) Highly recommend Maya for anyone at any stage of their journey. read more

I had an excellent IPL laser treatment with Onute, and had excellent results. As I get older, I notice that some of the sun spots and spider veins start to become more visible as I get age. I decided to get the limelight IPL done. The process was pretty simple. My specialist cleaned my skin prior to the procedure. She also told me what to expect before she started using the laser. The actual laser treatment wasn't that bad. It sort of felt like a tiny rubber band being snapped against my skin. On the first day after the treatment, my skin was a little sore. On the second day, I didn't feel any pain at all. I noticed by day 4, my skin had completely calmed down. The sun spots that were there had faded away. Overall, I have to say that I'm very pleased with the results. read more

Gutjiera is top notch, she is skilled at her craft as well as extremely personable. She takes extreme pride in her work and she makes it a point to connect with her patients on a very real, personal level. I am very pleased with Botox treatments and she reminds me of my after care and me being satisfied with my results are what matters to her. She is the BEST!!!!! read more

Spaderma - North Shore - Valentine Giveaway 2022 - Medical Spas Near Me - Wilmette, Illinois

I had an appointment scheduled for today. I woke up with a pretty bad stye in my eye - certainly contagious and very painful. I called the minute the location opened and asked if I could reschedule my appointment to the first next available both due to the fact that injections would be painful and also to keep from spreading any of the germs. The answer was an absolute no without paying the $100 cancellation fee. This was despite the fact that I was rescheduling the appointment within less than 72 hours. The complete lack of concern for the health and wellness of their staff, and other patients was appalling. I was told there are absolutely NO exceptions to the fee, I even offered to provide a note from urgent care. $100 is more valuable to this business than operating a clean facility. My treatment was fine, but I will not be going back. read more

Got few procedures done and went to different locations and got feedback on different things that were done wrong or incorrect. The staff seemed off and unhappy. read more

Substandard service, rude staff. Manager name: Kat states she represents the "entire" management, and there is no one above her to escalate the matter. Their cancellation policy is unacceptable. They hold customers accountable to 24-hour notice, even when the office is closed and there is no way to leave a message. They will charge you 50 to 150 dollars, even when they are the ones not in the office to receive the message. Not worth the time or frustration. read more

I absolutely love this med spa! Claire is the absolute best aesthetician. Anna is sincerely the BEST injector I've had, hands down. Unfortunately, my face can be tricky due to having post trauma from a car accident and having to have half my face reconstructed. I never thought that lip filler could be for me, or a Botox lip flip. I have gone to other places, but nothing tops her and her knowledge and experience she has. Also, very affordable. 10/10 recommend! read more

Had a great laser experience but continuously felt bullied into getting a membership even though I stated multiple times that I wanted to pay for a single service. Then when I went to the front desk it got worse. I continued to state I wanted to pay full price and not get the membership. Finally I had to explain that I'm trying to get pregnant so I don't want to commit to a membership if I'm uncertain of the future (shouldn't have to explain this but it wouldn't stop). I then was recommended the packages which I still continued to decline. Very annoying to pay full $200 price for a service and feel like I did something wrong after. read more

Two words: Lindsey Gribbens. I've been going to Lindsey for anything face related for YEARS! Lindsey at Spa Derma North Shore, did an outstanding job. From start to finish it was flawless, seriously. She was very gentle, kind, and knowledgeable of what she was doing. I highly recommend booking with Lindsey as there's a reason she works at one of the most known spas in Chicago!! Don't hesitate, just book it. I promise you'll leave feeling BRAND NEW! read more

I have had soooo many issues with workers being SOO rude to me on the phone. (I found out it isn't even the front desk girls who work at the location who answer the phone) if i didn't absolutely love my aesthetician Kassandra I would've left a long time ago. She's absolutely amazing if you plan on trying laser hair removal or any type of facials DEFINITELY book with Kassandra, she's an angel & will absolutely take care of you. read more

I initially bought a Groupon for 3 Laser Hair Removal sessions back in March of 2021 and I have continuously gotten my laser hair removal treatments here ever since. The facility has always been spotless every time I come in. I am not the type that cares to have only one technician so I have had the opportunity to be with Monique, Nicole, and Lindsey and I absolutely loved all three of them. Each of them have different but very similar ways of doing my laser hair removal treatments. All make me feel comfortable and calm throughout my treatments. Front desk is also always kind and assists well with purchases, scheduling, and answering any questions. Highly recommend this location. Keep up the great work! read more

Lindsey is phenomenal, incredibly knowledgeable and the only esthetician I will ever go to. I've suffered from broken capillaries for a long time, and have had my derm zap them with not much of a result. Lindsey was able to zap the away immediately!!! Highly recommend seeing her for all your skincare needs. Thank you Lindsey YOU'RE amazing. read more

I absolutely love this location! I get Hydrafacial's and Microneedling with Claire, room #3 and she is the best. She gives great advice on skin care, super knowledgeable and skilled, and extremely nice. My skin hasn't looked this good in a long time. Highly recommend her, thanks Claire! read more

I followed Eva here from her former place and she's the best! So happy to have her great care again. SpaDerma seems like a nice place so far - my only quibble is that there is no price list at all, and really no way (apparently, after asking at front desk and on the phone) of finding out how much different services cost, which is strange. I'd love to be able to budget for different services and compare, but I can't, so I'll need to do facials and all of that somewhere else I guess. read more

I have been to spa derma a handful of times, and have had a wonderful experience each time. Lindsey is AMAZING! I have gotten a facial from her, as well as laser hair removal and each time I have left feeling great. My skin is always glowing, and she is such a delight to be with for the duration of the appointment. She always makes sure to educate me on the products or procedures she is going through, and gives information on after care. She is not pushy at all, is super knowledgable, and always makes sure I am comfortable. I would highly recommend going to her. read more

It pains me and bothers me that I have to write this review. This review in no way reflects the girl That did my Botox. This is a reflection on recent company policy changes that effected my girlfriend and I. First of all I have been a long time customer at Lincoln park and am new customer at Skokie. My issue is my girlfriend and I booked Botox appointments where we paid close to 800$ for our services. Like many places it's customary to do free touch ups 2 weeks later. Last Friday my girlfriend and I were emailed to say that touch ups were no longer free. To an extent I understand because covid has hurt many businesses. The flip side is we were not informed of the change in policy until 24 hours before. This led us to believe this was a policy that changed after our appointment. This was frustrating because if we were informed of this during our visit we could have made the choice to cancel our current appointments. Between the both of us we would probably spent between 2 and 3 thousand dollars a year. This review is solely to let management know it's not cool to change policies like this. Especially for good customers. I understand many take advantage of free touch ups. My girlfriend and I do not. It's important for management to understand our frustration. We canceled our November appointments as a result of the policy change. That's an additional 700 to 800 spa is losing. I also want to say this review is not about shaking them down for our free touch ups. This is about them understanding it was not right to make this type of change at the last minute. I also want to stress we like the girl that did our work. She is great. Botox can be a challenge sometimes Botox doesn't take in all Areas. Spas implement free touch ups as a way to make sure customers are satisfied. I recommend SpaDerma because they have high quality professionals. This review is solely about policies implemented by management. It would have been best if they said our policy changed. We will do your free touch up but after that we are discontinuing free touch ups. It's easier to be prepared then get blindsided 24 hours before the appointment. read more

Laser is painless and both the ladies who did my laser the past two times have been super nice and sweet. Would highly recommend this spot!

Booked a one hour facial for $150. I got up sold to a hydra facial that was an extra $100. The rep that did my facials spent about 25 minutes with the machine and 5 minutes on extractions. I went to the Dominican Republic and got a facial the following week ! The girl in the Dominican Republic spent 30 minutes on the extractions alone ! I don't know if it was late in the afternoon. But I was rushed in and out within 30 minutes for for a total of $250. No sense of value from my visit. read more

Gutjiera made me feel very comfortable and the whole process was pretty quick. I LOVE the results. Highly recommend! read more

I just had a laser hair treatment today and the staff were wonderful. Very easy check in with their ipad. Booking an appointment was also easy, someone responded via email even on weekends. Very clean facility and convenient location, just few blocks from Old Orchard mall. Farrah was great and explained diligently everything, espedically what to expect during and after treatment. Site care provided, including what to put on skin if irration occurs. Will highly recommend this place. Looking into other services they are offering. read more

My New Year's Resolution was to start taking better care of my skin, so I booked a consult and started seeing Dana. So far I've had a chemical peel and microneedling and I can already see SUCH a difference in my skin. Dana always emails me after procedures to check up on how my skin is doing and answers any and all of my many questions. She has gotten me a medical grade skin car routine that has also been game changing. I can't wait to continue my skin journey and continue to see amazing results. 1 million stars, everyone should go here! read more

I'm so so happy with SpaDerma and how my skin looks after only two appointments. I saw Claire for an IPL facial to help get rid of unwanted redness, sun spots, and the start of some wrinkles. While the process itself wasn't the most pleasant, Claire was great! She took her time explaining the process, the aftercare routine, as well as what other treatments I should do in between my next appointment. After Claire recommended a chemical peel in between my next IPL facial, I saw Dana a couple weeks later. She was incredibly knowledgable and made sure that I was doing ok through the process. The PCA chemical peel was a breeze and Dana recommended some affordable products for the aftercare routine. I am SO happy with how my treatments have gone. The ladies at the front desk are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I have my next IPL in two weeks and another chemical peel in four weeks. PS... SpaDerma offers AMAZING deals! The treatments are incredibly affordable and I am so happy I found them! read more

I had such a great experience here. I wasn't sure what I needed for my skin and was a little intimidated by all of the options out there. Not only was the spa BEAUTIFUL and clean, the staff was honestly so helpful and friendly! I never once felt pressured into anything. The questions I asked didn't come off as "stupid" and were answered with real interest in my need and wants for my skin. Products were also recommended in the consultation and I felt like they were truly picked out for me. I even asked the esthetician and receptionists about maybe getting botox and they made me feel at ease about doing it soon with their injector. Super happy I found them! read more

I have been a client of spa derma for about 6 months now. I absolutely love it there. Lindsey does all of my laser hair removal and hydra facials. I have been so many places and have not gotten the results or customer service that I needed. Since going to Lindsey, my results have been incredible and I know she truly cares for her clients. I can tell that Lindsey is extremely knowledgeable about the machines she uses and the products she works with. She tailors her facials to what she believes it best for each individual client.
