I found Janet online after my usual electrolysis lady was sick for 2 weeks and couldn't do my treatment I didn't want all my sessions to go to waste by plucking or waxing so I thought i'd just go to someone else for this one session. this was by far the WORST treatment & experience of my life. I have extremely high pain tolerance but i've never been in so much pain in my life. I had medical grade numbing cream on and felt EVERYTHING. Ive done electrolysis with my usual lady with 0 numbing cream and didn't feel as much as pain as I did with her. I kept telling her how much pain I was in and she refused to lower it it truly felt like I was being tortured not a client I couldn't keep my tears from coming. I went into my car after and cried my eyes out from how traumatizing it all was. I paid more than double just to get tortured & horrible marks all over me. I gave her more than she asked for and she didn't even bother giving me my change back or asked if I want my change absoloutely ridiculous and unprofessional. I will NEVER go back there again. She left marks all over me and i'm terrified of it scarring, my lady has never treated me this way, never left marks like this, & never made it painful for me & I still always have amazing results with her. do yourself a favor AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS LADY. she is money hungry, does not care about her clients what so ever & does not know what she is doing. this is NOT how electrolysis is supposed to look and feel read more

I was trying to schedule someone last minute and Janet was very accommodating and got me in next day. So that was really nice. I had been to ElectroYogi twice before coming and seeing Janet. It was more confusing than ElectroYogi in terms of parking and where you see Janet. Also, the procedure was more painful then at ElectroYogi (I don't use the numbing cream). She also didn't ask exactly what I wanted done before she started. And she was more expensive than ElectroYogi ($65 for 15 minutes) So, good but room for improvement. I don't think she is able to do pmakeup at all as you can see by the pictures that I've got a mark of bright red eyebrows for the rest of my life. I know that there is services that do permanent makeup removals with saline but after making one mistake on my face I am really afraid of getting another one. Getting my brows permanented didn't make my life easier as I thought it would. It has made it even more stressful because I now cannot go out completely without makeup as I used to before. I have to cover my eyebrows. How can she have an audacity saying she didn't tattoo my brows. I came to her with a clear of pmakeup face, that was my first ever experience. For those of you who are new to electrolysis, the process is more complicated and painful than laser treatments. But this is the only one that is approved by FDA that will permanently remove your hair. Your need a licensed and professional practitioner. Janet is very kind and has more than 10 years of experience in electrolysis alone. I went in for my first electrolysis and couldn't be happier. She walked walked me through the process before doing the treatment. It was painful but still bearable she made sure that it as pleasant as possible as it was my first treatment. She went through my cheek and chin in less than an hour. Then she puts lotion so it won't get red of swollen. It was throbbing and showed a little redness and bumps. But they were gone the next day. Post 2 months and I have scars above my upper lip. I was never told that there could be scaring or how to care for it after the electrolysis so it does not scar. It looks really bad , I pray they go away. Be very careful if you're doing anything on your face and ask a lot of questions. I love Janet! I've been coming to her for a while now and it gets addicting. I'm at the point where I'm trying to find any other body part that has hair lol Janet is very thorough and very quick. It's always amazing at how much she can cover in so little time. Even in areas that have denser hair are completely bare by the end of the session! Electrolysis isn't painless but she makes you feel comfortable. She also offers numbing cream if you prefer that. Regarding the electrolysis, it leaves my skin smooth and soft once it heals. Not only did she make my eyebrows look like a crazy clown but I woke up with the worst hive/rash on my arm the day after the semi- permanent eyebrow tattoo!! The Dr said it's an allergic reaction and that tattoo would have most likely caused it (since i haven't done anything else out of the ordinary) and that I should be care of it!! When i got there, it was NOT the same name of her services that was on the actual salon. She is in the back. I didnt have to wait no more than 5 minutes. She is kinda fast... which i like.... because i'm the same.... "Lets do this". She is very nice, personable.... her accent is a lil thick but we understood each other. She has a sense of humor. Those are just icing on the cake. How is she as an esthetician? FAST!
