    Tesla Supercharger - 10.11.22 Charging at 1:17pm

This is the slowest Tesla charger we've ever experienced and undeserving of the name supercharger…read more Their top speed was 289 mph, but it took us nearly forty minutes just to get 100 miles added. On the plus side, down below Mount Olympus (the Chargers are on a steep hill), you'll find a Shake Shack in the strip mall. Nice! This will make time go slightly faster.

It looks like an abandoned shopping plaza besides the equinox at the entrance of the unnamed road and the wine and cheese place at the end. We came when the sun was setting and even though there were plenty of chargers open on the second level, it gave me a spooky feeling. We ended up walking around the entire plaza before finding the restroom lol and the restroom entrance ended up being to slight left from the second level location where we were parked at. I attached a photo of it. I remembered the code probably until half way around the block and by the time I found it, I had forgotten it and the husband had to retrieve the code in the car I was joking with him saying if I was trying to get away from a bad guy, I'd end up dying at the restroom door from not remembering the code. I was expecting the bathroom entrance to lead directly into a restroom stall. Nope, there's a small entrance, down a few steps followed by a small hallway and the restroom was at the end of the hall. Though very "temporary" in appearance, I was very thankful to even have a restroom to use while I charged. The forests and shrubbery surrounding the charging station is also kind of spooky. Needless to say, I am a city girl. Very used to having charging stations in the middle of malls and shopping plazas. Nice pit stop but... I wouldn't wanna come alone when the sun goes down.

I'd recommend this resort to absolutely anyone with younger kids! I was a bit hesitant because of…read morereviews I saw online, but my husband asked me to trust his gut and I'm sooooo glad we did. Something big for me when being at a hotel or a resort is feeling comfortable AND welcomed. We went during 4th of July where just for breakfast one morning, they had 600 guests! Although the resort was packed, never once did it feel over crowded. Every place we went, I felt like our presence was appreciated. We also never had to wait to be seated even without reservations. This place really nailed their hospitality. every detail was well thought out! So why would I recommend this for families? For many reasons. Kids are welcomed almost everywhere! They hosted events from morning to sunset during the 4th of July weekend we went. Kids eat FREE all summer for breakfast and lunch (meals before 5) at a few of their restaurants. Then I believe it's half off for dinner! Food was great everywhere we went. Our daughter was too little for most of the events and their bigger kid pools + splash pad, but we did see they have a kids slide! She did love all the places she could run around and their complimentary tote bag! And for the staff- absolutely everyone was so kind, helpful & very welcoming. Most staff members went above and beyond for us. Servers- Jenna was fantastic. Sandra as well! I believe we had an Emma too. We did stay in the Villas by the front entrance. Our rooms were excellent. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Next time, we want to go with friends and family! Lastly- I hear it's near Legoland! We went to the Safari Park and that was a 30 minute, easy drive away. Can't wait to be back. I don't golf so I can't say much about that except for the views being absolutely stunning.

The ac leaked by the doorway, the toilet wouldn't flush properly, and the room had no blankets for the pull out couch. When we asked for more blankets however, a worker brought some so that was nice. The Omni has multiple pools, one with water slides, but I much prefer the smaller pools scattered around the grounds. Everything here is overpriced. Smoothie was 15 dollars. The only reason I got it was because I had a free drink voucher.

We went back-and-forth with if we wanted to stay there and pay that cost, or if we should stay at another local hotel for our visit. We are glad that we stayed at the hotel. Though the price is high, they provide a lot of great entertainment and things for the children to do right within the hotel. Also, the theming for the hotel is so cool for kids. We loved that there were two separated spaces for adults and kids. We ate at the hotel as well for breakfast and dinner. The food was good enough. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad at all.

Children with sensory or developmental needs often cannot handle waiting and become highly anxious. Having to wait up to 30 minutes or more just to qualify for the next ride is incredibly difficult. We are from Santa Cruz, where the Beach Boardwalk allows special needs guests to go directly to the front of the line through the exit without a mandatory cooldown time between rides. It makes the experience seamless, stress-free, and keeps the kids happy. There is no reason to enforce such restrictive wait policies for people with special needs. They really need to rethink this system.
