Without question the worst customer service possible. Showed up 2 minutes late for 1:30pm appointment. Receptionist found my appointment, asked me to have a seat. 15 minutes goes by, zero acknowledgment by anyone. I look over to the Geico counter, there is a woman just staring at a computer. Guy in the office behind her, same thing. At the 20 minute mark I stand up and walk over to the receptionist and before I can even say anything she says "someone will be right with you." She looks over to some guy standing over by the Geico desk and let's him know I'm here. He sort of acknowledged in the sense that he heard what she said, but he said nothing to me who was looking right at him. She says he has to go to the back and do "(something with another car)." Fast forward 5 minutes, I am now standing by the receptionist who btw, has been on the phone this entire time, since shortly after I arrived. The guy comes back in very relaxed, carefree, clearly not interested in helping me out. He strikes up a bull s*** conversation with the woman employee at the Geico desk. I'm just sitting there staring in awe at the complete and total lack of urgency this guy, now 30 minutes behind schedule, is operating at. I look at the receptionist and she, to her credit, is trying to get this guys attention, but he is locked in to his not giving a s***, terrible customer service performance. At this point, it's 2:00pm and I'm just about ready to walk out, and as I'm saying to myself, "eh, I'm sure he will probably come over and help me now," he turns to another person who was staring a computer and strikes up another bull s*** conversation. He was laughing and having a good ole' time! I look at the receptionist who at this point, has fully acknowledged how unbelievably terrible the customer service they've provided has been, and I say, "look, it's clear that you guys have all day here, all the time in the world, but I do not." If you value your time and have a busy schedule, I would highly advise finding another body shop. People wonder why companies are switching to robots and automation. This is a perfect example, because when customer service is this bad, as long as the robot is more productive, then the human connection is moot. I would gladly interact with a cold, emotionless robot over the 5 humans who were completely disinterested in building a human connection and helping their fellow man out. This was one of the shops my insurance recommended. After getting 3 different quotes from other shops I ended up going here since they have progressive onsite and they were the only shop to recognized that I had 3 stage paint job. Dropped my car off Monday morning and got it back Friday afternoon (I was told by my insurance I would get it Thursday but they weren't done yet). They had to repaint my left quarter panel + remove a dent and repainted my bumper. They did an excellent job, the car looks brand new and the paint matches perfectly. The inside of my car was slightly dusty from the repairs but I was already going to get it cleaned at the car wash so it was not that big of a deal for me. read more

I picked up my Subaru Outback today after rear-ending another vehicle on the icy roads at Bear Valley on Christmas Eve. Lodging an online claim with Geico, I chose Arseen as the Geico express repair shop and I couldn't be happier. I met Bill on NYE and he was friendly, professional and fast. He clearly explained the process and in no time I was sitting at the desk of Ed from Enterprise car rental and since all my details were already in his computer, I drove away in a rental car less than 10 minutes later. FYI, there is no Geico representative anymore. They now deal directly with the body shop. I had significant damage on the front right side of our car but now after 18 days (NY was included), the car is fixed and you can't see anything. They really did a great job. The text messages with updates were good too and overall I'm impressed with this one-stop shop. Highly recommend! read more

My Tesla was rear ended few months ago. I brought my car in. They told me it will take up 3 months to fix and order the parts total. But during the waiting time I keep following up with the shop where about my parts and tracking. Parts came, car fixed went to pick up found out that they have chip my glass panel roof. The back passenger door didn't close well without force. Weather seals are not probably tucked in so the guy said he will order for the glass top and will fix everything. I took my car home but was not able to call out from the car. They didn't reconnect Bluetooth. Next morning my husband drove my car and told my subwoofer was not working. I brogh my car for some minor incidents one in the front and a little one in the back, Mathew was the guy helping me out, very nice guy that was not a problem at all. Everything was fine although they took 25 days to give me my car and paid myself out of pocket for the extra days with a car rental my car insurance proved for me because Arseen Auto body Shop was short on staff because of Covid I said okay fine not a big deal but then!! I picked up my car 01/27/2022 4:30 pm I go home next day morning Had to run some errands early and turn on my A/C to find out it was not working HOT/COLD!! I used it the same day I took my car to Arseen i was confused!! I come back to Mathew and asked what happened to my A/C it was working perfectly fine before ! He comes and tells me they're checking the car with some computer they find nothing ! I said well I'm sure they did something or disconnected something!! They had me come back next day and they find NOTHING!!! So he asked me to go to the dealership hoping I had guarantee!! They did not take any responsibility on whatever they did to my car it couldn't just break buy itself! Fortunately, I did have the 100,000 miles guarantee but what if I didn't!! I would of have paid everything out of pocket for something that clearly happened at Arseen body shop! But of course it was my word Vs his. I hope no body has to go through the same situation as me I only paid a deductible that Arseen should of had paid for but NO nothing 0 responsibility. I recently used Arseen Auto Body in San Jose to replace my Model S liftgate and would highly recommend them. I had never heard of them before but a friend told me she had been in the shop just a couple weeks ago and had seen a large number of Teslas being worked on. I received several estimates from different body shops for the job, and Arseen's was very reasonable whereas some of the other well known shops were quoting me for things I didn't think I needed and insisting that the extraneous work be completed for them to take on the job. Arseen didn't try to oversell me on services and work I didn't need. At Arseen, Sarge was my service rep and really took care of me. He provided outstanding service from start to finish. When I first got an estimate and gave the ok for them to begin work but before I dropped my car off, he let me know right away that the liftgate part was back ordered but he would let me know when it came in. He did just that and kept me updated during the job itself, which was done very efficiently and very professionally with no blemishes. Unbeknownst to me before my visit to the shop, Arseen does extensive work on Teslas. When I picked up my car, I was shown at least a couple dozen Teslas being worked on in the shop, including at least one by current Tesla employees. read more

I could not be more satisfied with my experience with Arseen Auto Body! My 2-week old Tesla Model 3 was rear-ended and pushed into the car in front, so I had fairly significant damage in both rear and front. And, it completely shutdown and would not turn back on. I had called several other body shops, including Tesla's own Service Center, all refusing to take it because it didn't run. But from the first contact with the Arseen receptionist stating they could definitely take care of my Tesla, and throughout the entire repair process, they comforted me and convinced me quickly that they knew Teslas well and that my car was in very capable hands. They even dealt with the insurance company for me, too. My main contact (Sargon O.) was in constant communication with me, giving details on how things were going and what tasks were still pending, etc.... The best part was, after my car was returned to me (1.5 weeks ago now), it has been like a brand new car it was supposed to be - no issues whatsoever. Do not use them. They take money from customers' insurance but do not deliver a complete repair. Keep saying the part is on back order for 6 months now. They took payment for the part from the insurance and stopped looking for it. Their customer service and encounters with Nina were miserable - they just ignored the customer and never took the proactive effort to find a part and have the customer satisfied. read more

My friend dropped her corolla off and picked it up. We had to call the agent back 5 times because there were scratches and chips all over the car from removing the bumper. I came here because Geico suggested it I really should have just gone through the "extra paperwork" to pick somewhere else. The quality of work done was fine in the end my car looked the way it was supposed to at no cost to me. But I waited 45 mins for my scheduled appointment to drop off my car. My estimated completion date went from 3 days to 4 days to 5 days. I wasn't able to pick it up on the 5th day because I was in school. So I came back in the next day to get my car that's supposedly ready. I'm sitting in the lobby and it's been like 45 mins again.? The work should be the main factor of the review by seeing as I wasn't a paying customer I didnt pay attention to price and they did meet my expectations in repairs just not in customer service. They have plenty of people sitting in the main lobby nobody pays attention to you. read more

I had front bumper damage on my Tesla Model S due to a minor collision in my company's parking lot. I was super worried as Tesla's official body shop wasn't taking my vehicle for at least 2 weeks and most other Tesla certified shops were backed up. Fortunately, I got in touch with Arseen and they took my vehicle in. I worked with Anthony who was super professional, very communicative and clearly laid out timelines on when i can expect the work to be completed. Luckily, we got the parts in about a month (instead of the 4 months that we thought it would take) and Anthony and team did a great job putting everything in place. I did notice a minor issue after taking the car out. Called Anthony who then offered to inspect and fix it free of charge. Will definitely recommend Arseen ! read more

Fast turn-around like other reviews said. BUT, if you do decide to go to Arseen, make sure you don't leave ANYTHING valuable in your car. Got several of my personal belongings stolen and they would not reimburse for everything. You have to sign a form stating that they're not responsible for stolen items in your car when you hand it to them, which I didn't read through. They didn't bother informing me of that part either. I'd highly encourage you to take your personal items out of the car. I was involved in a hit and run. Some drunk ass turned their overcompensating lifted trunk into a driveway and tore off my front bumper completely. My worthless (Progressive) insurance company says I'm paying a grand out of the $1923 estimate for repairs. Well it's not like I can't have a car so after several conversations where I remind those cretins what terrible pieces of shit they are for being involved in the glorified, legally required ponzi scheme that is insurance, I finally lose the fight in me and capitulate. I just tell them to give me an auto body shop that will get it done fast so I don't have to deal with their stupid bullshit anymore. I guess this one was at the top of the list. My car gets taken in there and they go to work. Between then and when my car was ready, I got laid off. My wife is just about ready to give birth. I managed to quickly find a survival job, but as expected a giant chunk of my income just disappeared. I go in to pick it up, and while I'm good for the full payment, I'm looking at the difference between making rent or not. I explain to them the situation. They knocked $250 off. I've had several repairs made here. They're an authorized repair center by Geico. Their pricing is outrageous on repairs compared to other shops and their work does not make up for any quality at all. The most recent repair was done on a quarter panel. It looked fine but my door had a super hard time closing every time. We went back and they made an "adjustment". Same problem still occurs. At freeway speed, it sounds like my window is open from the door they fixed. Also water leaking through the interior too. Such a shady company on multiple occasions. If you don't care about quality then disregard this review. If you have a nice looking car that you saved up for and need a repair- STAY AWAY FROM HERE. read more

Arseen was unprofessional in dealing with me as a customer. they welcomed me in to give me an estimate and the roped me in with an estimate on the same day, I was told that the vehicle will be received in 2-3wks repaired within 8 wks during estimate time. after going through insurance and issuing payment Cheques, Arseen did not return my calls. after 2 weeks of constant trials I finally get a hold of the right person and this person says that Arseen will not be able to receive the vehicle for another 10wks and won't give a date to complete the repairs. (a 2 month delay to start and no date to finish) also the person in charge screamed at me and asked me to find another shop and hung up the phone despite me politely confronting the person with the facts. read more

Took my car here because Geico recommended it. I told Geico that I was concerned about letting Arseen work on my car due to the high number of negative reviews. Geico said it's ok because yelp doesn't matter and they guarantee their work, and Geico guarantees their work too, so I have two guarantees. I reluctantly let them do the repairs, which consisted of replacing my front fascia (can't call it a front bumper since cars don't have bumpers anymore) and replacing the front-right fender. They said it would be ready in one week. A week and a half later, they said it's still not done because they forgot to order one part. Great. After two weeks they said it's ready and I went to pick it up. I gave it a quick lookover and found the work was sloppy with no attention to quality. There was a blob of paint on the door (a door that didn't need to be repainted) that was very easy to spot, an area of MISSING paint on the fender, and multiple areas of problems on the front fascia. Aside from that, the car wasn't cleaned and was covered in dirt and water spots, so it was impossible to tell if there were other issues. They also got white sealant all over the black plastic parts of my car, which is impossible to remove, and got paint or sealant all over the headlights. I pointed out these areas to them and they said they'd fix it in 10 minutes. OK but why didn't they fix it during the two weeks they had my car? Didn't they look at the work they did? After 10 minutes, the blob of paint was gone by smoothing it out, but there was still an obvious areas of screwed up paint. For the fender with missing paint, they said they'd have to completely repaint the fender, so they would repaint the door at the same time to correct both problems. They said it would take one day. Since I was going on vacation the next week, I told them I'd leave the car with them all week and they'd have plenty of time to get it perfect (7 business days). On the Monday after I got back, I called them and told them I'm coming to get my car. They told me that the car wasn't ready yet. I told them you had over a week to do one day of work, and I'm coming to get my car now, so it better be ready when I get there. When I got there, the car was indeed not ready, and they haven't even done anything to it during the week they had the car. They gave me some bullshit excuse about their paint machine being broken. Right. They said they'd have it ready the next day. Came back the next day and those two areas were fixed, but I found additional areas of screwed up paint on the front fascia that needed to be fixed. Reminder that they had my car for 3+ weeks now, and somehow I'm the only one who noticed these issues. Sloppy careless work. They smoothed out the few spots I found, but one of the problem areas was still clearly visible. It looked like they damaged the front fascia with some kind of tool or perhaps dropped it or scraped it on the ground. They said they can fix that but they'd have to repaint the whole thing and would take one day. They also said they can't promise that when they repaint the front, they won't screw it up again. I declined to have them repaint it since I'd had enough of Arseen and their incompetent work. I called Geico to complain, and Geico refused to do anything about it and told me I had to deal with Arseen if I wanted it fixed. I should have gone with my instinct and brought my car someplace else when I read their negative yelp reviews. If you think you'll be one of the lucky people who have no issues with them, think again and bring your car someplace else. read more

I think I've cooled down enough to write this review. My fiancee was driving her Lancer I got for her for our anniversary a few years back and was unfortunately in an accident (she's OK) the car had minimal cosmetic damage, but all the supports in the front clip had bent and needed to be replaced. The estimator Manny was very upfront about the time needed, and I knew it would take some time, as I did some body work in my youth. We dropped off her car right before a 12 day trip to Japan, thinking that surely what he said could be done in week would be done in two. On the day the car is supposed to be ready (2 days before she was due in from Japan) the car STILL was not done. The next day? Still not done! So she's in the air, and I call Manny saying "She's going to be here in 4 hours. I'll be there in 3. My car had better be done." Luckily fer all involved it was, but as I was inspecting it, there was chipping in the clear coat all over the hood that was supposed to be fixed!! He assured me he'd fix it in the morning. I had my brother in law take the car down and they spent an hour on it, I got home that night and they has sanded the clear coat off!!! I was (still am) beyond pissed! I called the insurance, let them know what was going on and had them deal with Arseen and Manny. I showed up, and my rep must have chewed him out good. I told him I'd be back in 24 hours, ready for my repaired car. I'm happy to say it was, but this was one of the most ridiculous episodes I've ever had with a vehicle. I will never, ever go back there and suggest to any and all they they do not get involved with this shady and unprofessional business. read more

The BAR investigator said, "Arseen has been on our radar for a while now. We're really glad to get the evidence we need to go after them." Instead of wasting your time and energy on accusing dissatisfied customers of not being your customers and deflecting bad reviews, work on learning to do the job right the 1st time. Learn to take pride in your work!!!! The very least you can do is own up to your mistakes, empathize, apologize, and make sure you don't rip off anyone else again. Why else would I waste my precious time and warn other customers? A satisfied customer is your best advertiser! I was very disappointed in the service I received from Arseen. I took my car there because it was a Gieco station and I didn't know where else to go. My car had major damage from a rear end collision. Five days after receiving the vehicle no estimate had been made on the repairs. I had to call and threaten to take my car elsewhere in order to get the adjuster, whom I was told lives at the shop most of the time, to make an estimate on the repairs. I went ahead and had Arseen do the repair work but was very upset to learn one week later that they had not even begun repair on my vehicle. Lane promised that the car would be finished in one week's time and if not he would pick up the tab for my rental car which I was having to pay for out of pocket. My car wasn't finished by the end of the week and I had to wait an additional 5 days to get it. All in all, it took 3 weeks to make a repair that they estimated would take one week to fix. This review is for Matt. I went on a Monday to drop off my car. I let them know I was running a bit behind, they asked how long and said thanks for the warning. I asked if it would cause a delay because of being late, front desk said it wouldn't be a problem. When I parked, Matt knew I was coming and was already outside waiting. When we looked over the car, I let him know all the concerns I had.( Its not the body shops fault if a customer does not communicate with them their wants and needs.) I stressed many concerns, Matt let know every step what he was planning to have done with the car. What I really liked was that he explained why some things were out of his hands. I think people give the place a bad rap because they have insurances companies who are frugal and don't want to waste a dime more. The shop can only do what the insurance approves, and I think people who gave this place such horrible reviews did so because they did not understand the process their insurance puts the shop through. Matt let me know ahead of time that before he could start on the quarter panel blending he would have to get the okay from my insurance which translates he had to keep the car longer until they say we''ll accept that supplemental.. Without them saying yes he couldn't touch the car. Which makes sense and is completely understandable. Just like Matt said I received calls on the update status of my car, making me feel at ease through the whole ordeal. When I went to pick up the car the bumper looked brand new and the side door matched the entire car. Matt did a walk through with me of what he had done on the car. I can say that my doubts were there but put to rest when I saw my baby. With such great customer service, and work on my car I have no problem saying that all my cars will be coming to this shop in the future. I took my car in for some minor body repair. Arseen Auto Body was one of my car insurance agency's preferred repair facilities. Arseen did a decent job repairing the dent in my car and matching the color of the paint. The two stars is mainly because of poor customer service and not keeping the customer (me) informed. I was told my car would be ready on a Wednesday, but when I called that Wednesday, I was told it would be ready Thursday at 11 instead. and then when I called on Thursday to make sure my car was ready to be picked up, I was told it still wasn't ready and to come in 3 hours. I wasn't called and advised about either delay and I only found out because I called them to double-check that the car would be ready. The other thing that I didn't like was that there was never anyone behind the main counter and every time I went into the shop, I stood around for a few minutes before anyone offered to help me. read more

This is a long overdue review as I wanted to completely erase this so called auto body out of my mind. Unfortunately, that didn't happen as I found out today that I'm missing my air filter bracket when I brought it in for my 5,000 synthetic oil/ performance air filter change. Let's go back from the very beginning. I got into a minor accident as I was avoiding a dog on the road, ran into the curb, my clutch was stuck on either gear 2 or 3, and the front bumper was slightly damaged. I contacted my Geico rep, Joanne, who helped me through the process. Initially I wanted to take it to Audi's dealership service center as they've been doing all my maintenance for me. However, Joanne persuaded me to use Geico's contracted auto body as I will have lifetime warranty on all the repairs. I took it to Arseen. Big mistake. The rep told me that the repair will be done in a week. Didn't bother getting a rental, I planned carpooling with my sister. A week and a half went by, rep called and said they couldn't figure out the clutch system in my Audi so they had to tow it to the Audi service center to get it repaired. Then it was towed back to their body shop to fix the bumper cosmetic. So far, it was two weeks. When I came in to pick up my car, I've noticed some scrapping noises. Let's not this, even after the accident, my car did NOT make that scrapping noise. I was able to drive home on gear 2 as the accident happened less than 3 miles away from my house. I refused to sign for the pickup as my car never made the noise. It stayed at the shop and I finally got a rental as I cannot continue to carpool with my sister. We have different work schedule and the repairs took longer than what they had promised. Close to 3.8 weeks, two days shy of a month, I came in a second time to pick up my car. No more scrapping noise, clutch system working (thanks Audi- should've came to you guys initially), and the bumper was repaired. By that time, I was frustrated bc I had to keep coming back and forth to the shop while I had work projects that needed my attention. I wish they can be more accommodating and keep me posted on the progress instead of my reaching out to them so I can plan my work accordingly. Fast forward to this week when my Audi guy asked what happened to my air filter bracket? My air filter is dangling in the air. The bracket that stabilized it is missing. Well, isn't that a lovely surprise? Hence, I'm staying up late to make sure I write this review in before I forget. Note to anyone who loves their car, don't bring it here. If you have full coverage, take it to the dealership. Don't pay for subpar workmanship. Even if they offer to fix this for me, I'd kindly decline as I do not have faith in their work. I'd rather pay Audi out of pocket to fix it for me vs going to Arseen. And to the owner or manager of Arseen, if you need a file number or claim number, I can definitely provide it so do not try to call me out on my review. Instead, hire or train your mechanic to fix Audi vs getting it towed to the dealership. Isn't that a bit embarrassing? Or perhaps narrow down your repair services to basic brands, such as Honda, Ford, Toyota, etc. read more
