We've contracted with Patrick several times now and won't go anywhere else. Honest assessments, fair prices and quality workmanship. He works with the homeowner to understand options to budget. Clean and organized, solid work ethic, dependable. Would recommend to anyone! *** Knob and tube replacement (100+yr old home), rewiring, full electric panel upgrade, garage sub panel install, security lights and cameras, EV charger installation. 5 stars! read more

Patrick is a fantastic electrician. He did a comprehensive inspection of our house built in 1989, then replaced and upgraded to Code the outdated sockets and wall switches, and installed a new Main power panel which we needed for safety. He got us through the Edison and City of LB permit process very efficiently. Patrick helpfully educates, gives options, is friendly, very communicative and personable. i highly recommend him. For what you get in terms of service, trust and reliability, his prices seem fair. read more

We really appreciate all the work Patrick has done. He knows what he is doing, we trust him to take care of our electrical problems. We have used Electrical Work (Any) before, and would use him again. Patrick's work is terrific and the costs are very fair. read more

Do not waste your time with this company! The guy who runs it wasted my time and seemed to not be interested in coming to do the job that I was explaining. For a simply outlet change he told me that I needed to get somebody else for the job. After chatting with him back and forth, sending him pictures of the outlet and explaining to him that it's just the outlet change, he told me that I need to find someone else to do the job. I left a 1 star review on his google page because he was giving me attitude and just wasted my time. Then he sent me messages after on my personal cell and telling me "F*** you." Don't waste your time with this company. RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! read more

I am half convinced this is all an elaborate prank. This can't possibly be a real business. I called about an issue with a solar panel inverter and losing power to my house. His response was "well its cloudy outside." Which was not the issue. The issue was i couldn't switch onto the grid from my panels, but that didn't stop Patrick from soldiering on. He giggled like a stoned 15 year old the entire conversation and seemed confused that I rented a house and was trying to fix it myself. Patrick spent more time giving me unsolicited rental agreement advice than he did asking literally any questions about my problem. He closed by saying he couldn't possibly fix it. As others pointed out, he answers with just "hello". When i said I was looking for electrical work, his response was "okay?". All his positive reviews talk about him like he's the messiah, but I'm fairly sure he is just a bored stoned guy messing with people for kicks. read more

Scheduled Patrick to replace a 3 way switch, he found other wires and wired them in a pigtail now at least 2x a day the breaker trips. He isn't interested in coming back to fix ‍ on the plus side he was prompt! read more

I had met a dozen electricians before Patrick when I had a pet grooming business with lots of equipment that required electricity and unsolved electrical failures that went on for years. Patrick was innovative in his approach, liked what he was doing, and wouldn't stop until everything ran perfectly. After our total electrical renovation, Patrick designed a shampoo delivery system that was the precursor for future systems. When I bought a small fixer-upper bungalow, Patrick rewired the entire house and garage, which has worked without fail for many years up to today. He upgraded the panel when I put in central heat and air. I call him every time I need more power or outlets for other home improvements. Patrick is incredibly creative and will always pursue the best solution. He is never sloppy...he is a perfectionist. He is honest and loyal to all of his clients, which usually become his friends, and call him time and again for every new project. read more

Patrick Stauss is very knowledgeable, and explained what was being done, and why, while he fixed everything I needed done. I've used Electrical Work (Any) before, and would use him again. His work is terrific and the costs are very fair. He checked that everything was working, every step of the way. He knows what he is doing, and does it safely, very well, and quickly. He is honest and works hard to fix what needs to be done. read more

Wow. Do yourself a favor and scroll down to the real-- and totally horrifying-- reviews. I wish I had. You're a better person than I am if you can get through a phone conversation. "Pat" doesn't listen as he badgers you incomprehensively-- I've rewired my own house with an owners permit, I've hired 4 electricians for total re-wired in the past, and I've hired lots of other contractors. Not my first rodeo. This guy has the worst phone manner of anyone. Plus a threatening photo of my house when I said "no thanks". Creepsville read more

He refused to do the job we hired him to do and said it couldn't be done, after he came out multiple times and did work on other parts of our house. The main job we hired him for he just kept saying it wasn't possible to complete. We called another company, they came out and did the main job in an hour and finished it perfectly. When I told Patrick we would no longer be using him, he started to threaten me. I have blocked him and hope his threats are toothless. read more

Shit business and shit people. I called them because of the good reviews and the idiot on the other line answered with just "hello". No big deal, but when I asked if this was the electrician company the asshole then responded, "maybe", with the attitude of an entitled 7 year old boy whose parents just left him home alone for the first time. I hung up because fuck that, don't need that shit. Motherfucker then texts me, "fuck you". Huh. Interesting way to run a business. This place sucks, and anyone who gave this dump a good review is a piece of shit too. read more

Patrick, My experience with you was unprofessional to say the least. I called another Electrical company after you disappeared in the middle of a so-called committed job. You came and poked around and let me know that there was no charge cause you were a honest guy and would learn to trust you. You left 4 outlets open (yes capped, but open). Then you needed to come back and committed to a date (week later) and on the appointment day you showed up outside my house to tell me you have another job and need more time. You made a second commitment to come back on a Friday and you showed up to tell me you have to go to the City and it takes hours. You stated you would be back at 12 So I lost another morning away from my business. You then come back at 12 to tell me you would trouble shoot and then re-wire if you could not find the problem... Told same story to my brother, and then you left and then went missing in action. Well guess what, I pulled every permit possible when building my business and know how it works... Permits are simple.. Looking at Blue Prints, getting to a window... If you get up and show up in line at 7am you get in right away. Going at 9am in not only a bad move, but you wasted another one of my mornings. Conducting bad business to a local business owner was another bad decision, Long Beach is a small town. You spent a lot of time letting me what a honest good guy you are, talking non-stop and yet you FLAKED and wasted my time!! You proceeded to un-wire 4 electrical outlets and not put them back together. You spent several hours in the attic stating the outlets appeared to be running up, yet the wiring problem was under the house..... The next electrician found it within an hour. He was a professional. Not impressed at all... As a matter of fact, went to YELP and you stated you blocked them. Actually you never claimed your business and you wrote a review as a sales job about yourself.... Not how YELP is supposed to work. I figure you owe me $166 for waiting around for you, paying the other electrician to put back together the outlets you opened up and left open. But I don't want that, I do not want a refund or any response from you. Just know that being dishonest will catch up with you. read more

Horrible person. Horrible business. Do not use Patrick. My mother looked was looking for an electrician and found this guy. We were having issues with the ceiling fan and electrical switches. He came out Tuesday I believe, advised my mom that there was an issue with her new ceiling fan. He advised her to take it back to the store and he would come back the next day to install. My mother did so. She attempted to contact him Weds and her text wouldn't go though. I attempted to text him and it would not go through. My mother attempted to call several times and got a busy signal. She called from another number and he picked up. She realized he had blocked our numbers. When he realized it was my mom he advised that we tried to "punk him" and he is not interested in doing business with us. We have no clue what he is talking about. My mom now has a hole in the ceiling where the fan should be. To be transparent he has not been paid for the work that he started. He was going to be paid upon completion but never returned. Will file a complaint with the state. read more

First of all I don't use Yelp in fact this is the first time I have ever felt compelled to tell the rest of the civilized world to be ready for a verbal berating on the phone by Patrick who for some reason does not allow the customer to finish his sentences. When I originally called him on a Saturday I thought he might be under the influence but later found out on a Sunday that this guy is plain rude. I had a simple task to be performed but could not even get him to listen for one minute. He keeps on telling me how honest he is ( I would never know) but his communication skills are the worst I have experienced in my 50 years of doing business with both General and Subcontractors. Save yourself the abuse and avoid the call. read more

Electrical Work Any - He knew what going on and solve the problem right away. 5STAR - Electricians Near Me - Long Beach, California

Patrick is professional and dedicated to his work. He worked extremely hard to hang some very difficult modern ceiling fans in our historic Long Beach craftsman home. He completed our electrical work quickly and effortlessly. It was very professional. He was able to hang numerous light fixtures and repair the electrical wiring in a timely manner. We updated to some Decora switches and outlets and he is coming back for more! My wife and I plan to have Patrick mount our TV to the wall and run a new outlet to hide the cords. Thanks Patrick for your good attitude, hard work, patience and fair pricing. Glad we found a Long Beach local electrician! read more

Electrical Work Any - Hanging light fixtures and fans! Who's the drummer now? Haha Thanks Patrick! - Electricians Near Me - Long Beach, California

We had a strange electrical outage in our apartment where some of the light fixtures were working and others weren't. I started to call around and the first person who actually picked up the phone was Patrick at 7:15 am on a Saturday morning. He asked some questions over the phone and asked to send him pictures of the breaker. Within a couple of hours he responded and was able to find the problem and fix it efficiently and professionally!! Other electricians didn't even call us back and the ones that did quoted us for $150 to just come out and look around. Patrick explained step by step what he would do and got our lights back on within an hour and only charged us $66! If you need an electrician Electric Work Any is the first and last place to call! read more

I wanted to take the opportunity to share my experience working with Patrick, owner of Electrical Work (Any). Patrick was a referral from a good friend of mine who had just met and used his services. To this day, I have not met Patrick in person. I live out of state but needed a good electrician to check out the electrical issues at my LB home. We were about to put it on the market but our previous tenants had informed us of some possible electrical issues. Patrick stopped by same day (on his way home from another job) to check out what, if anything was wrong. He soon notified me that I desperately needed an updated service panel, especially if I had planned on listing the property. Although I never met him in person, I had to trust him because I needed immediate help and he quoted me such a great price-- a price not only fair but well below competitors and definitely not commensurate of his work and credentials. I think he took pity on my situation and the fact that our house was not well taken care of in our absence. Let's just say that it only took me one day to form a strong, positive opinion of this man. He is truly ethical, honest and does incredible work! He also extended the courtesy of trusting my husband and I by doing extra work for us where needed and at very little cost, with extended terms. Something his business and most like his do not offer. Again, he was very concerned for us and the level of work we had to put into making the house ready to list. His credentials and licensing speak for themselves regarding his work, but I also wanted to speak on the character and generosity of this man-- lets just say they don't make them like him anymore. He treats people with kindness, is professional and works very hard. I can't wait to pay the kindness forward, to others, in honor of Patrick! Thank you for everything Sir. You are appreciated! -LeLonnie S. read more

DO NOT USE this guy. He was pushy and acted like he was so busy and entitled. My experience with Patrick was completely unprofessional. He said he would be back and left. Called and left a message. Was called back within 15 mins but asked what company he was from as I had called a few electricians to get some bids for a job. He responded "nevermind" and hung up on me. I called him back and he tried to explain himself by saying it was wasting his time and created friction. He then continued by almost bragging how big of a company he was and how he was licensed in multiple cities and could tackle any job......was very odd. I told him i was doing my job to bid out a job to make sure I was get quality work for a competitive price. He ran me through some options on my job but in a very "talking down to" way. He told me to send him a picture of the area in question and he would send me a quote and more info. Sent him the picture, never heard anything back. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, RUDE. Too many good local electricians out there to waste your time with this guy. Hard pass. read more

Patrick knows what he's doing and does great work. We had trouble getting other electricians to come out for what didn't amount to "big" jobs for them, but Patrick came out on a Sunday when we called him on Saturday evening. He had great knowledge of what he needed to do based on what we wanted, and explained everything thoroughly. He also charges hourly, but stuck to his quoted total even when the job took longer than quoted. Very trustworthy and honest. We will definitely call him again when we need him, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Electrical Work Any to anyone looking for an electrician. Work done for us: Installed hanging fixture lights as well as an attached lighting fixture to the ceiling. Installed outdoor electrical socket so we didn't have to run Xmas lights through out window again... Matched existing stucco on ceiling where holes were cut. Very good job, he is very skilled at patching and matching surfaces. Consulted on additional work which we will call him for, including security cameras and exterior illumination Call Patrick for all your electric needs!! read more
