I had a list of items for estimate and, in order to find out the cost for each item, he had to remove all others to be able to tell me. Also, they will email a link to the estimate (not an attachment) and the link will expire in 7 days. It seems to me they are strategies to make it more difficult to compare quotes. I wanted 4 can lights and was told that I'd need a new electric panel for that to happen. I was quoted around $5,200 for a new electric panel (after having to ask specifically for the cost of this item). I mentioned that I put a panel in 3 years ago for a similar sized home and it was $2,500ish. I just got another quote for this home. It was $2,700 and I was also told I didn't need a new panel to add the 4 can lights.

1. I am a REAL customer. 2. Mike himself came out to my…read morehouse for the original diagnosis. I needed a new unit as it is 22 years old. 3. He, with integrity, worked with me on finding the most affordable and effective solution for my house. 4. In order to hold us over during the new install, he provided mini-portable units that we placed downstairs. Mike, himself, personally brought them to our door on a weekday after 9PM. 5. The technicians are all very knowledgable. In the past, I have had young technicians come over my house that didn't really know much. That is definitely not true for these guys. 6. They moved my thermostat upstairs to a place that is more suited for the structure of the house (under return in hallway as opposed to two (2) thermostats: 1 in master bedroom, in which there is no air handler, and the FROG). 7. They spent a good amount of time adapting my new air handler with existing duct work. I will definitely make Mike my "go-to AC guy" from now on.
