The ambience is nice and that saves this place but, please if you want to charge those prices, $6 for an Americano with vanilla, have better baristas or trainers for them. Great place! Brand new buildout bringing specialty coffee to the Puyallup, Sumner area. The whole building is awesome. The interior design aspects show a great attention to workflow and design. Proud Mary is the coffee they host and they source some of the best green coffee from the best regions. Drink of choice is an 8oz cappuccino. read more

I had the worst experience here! Our family had just come from meeting to plan my husband's memorial at a local church when we decided to get lunch. I was still distraught, I ordered a tea and a donut. Everyone else ordered lunch. I had to clean off the table, and they never brought my donut out. I thought it must be self serve. I wrnt up and hot the donut I paid for. An employee came over and accused me of "stealing the donut". He was loud, and it was embarrassing. No amount of explaining would satisfy him until my large brother stood up and said, "OK, what do we owe you?" He backed off then. I'll never step foot in this place again. read more

I have been anticipating the opening of this coffee shop for months! Especially since it's one of the only (if only) coffee shops open later in the evening in the Sumner area. Best coffee in the south end! High end 1883 syrups, single origin coffee even in the drip offerings. Coffee Roaster is Proud Mary. Tea is Mad Hat which is high quality local fresh tea. No options. No sleeves. Bad flavors. Bad food. Got a peppermint mocha and weirdly enough there was no hints of peppermint let alone mocha. Center of bread I got was mushy, uncooked, yet cold. No warming station. The only reason I'm still eating it is to cool down my tongue from their overly hot, incorrectly flavored coffee. They clearly weren't ready to open yet. They do have cute pins tho if you want to spend 5 dollars on a half inch metal square. ‍ 2/10 do not recommend. 11/10 Would recommend Volcano Coffee. Overall. Disappointed. I have only been here a couple of times but I have to say they are beyond consistent. Customer service is very friendly, service is quick and the food is AMAZING. It's flavorful and has a light clean feel. The vibe is relaxing yet vibrant. Great place for people who love cafes or a "beer/wine bar feel." Nicely built Architectural-wise and interior design was simple and modernized. That's what draw me to this coffee shop early in the labor day morning, but the customer service was not there. I ordered 16 oz. Americano and my wife ordered lattes, but it was super light for both. I don't prefer dark, but just to give an example it tasted like water compare to Starbucks Americano. Even though I am not huge fan of Starbucks. So I explain to casher and ask if they can make it little darker and he said his going to charge me 2.99 per shot. I would probably consider to go back if the customer service was, but that's not going to happen any time soon. read more

Went to Electric Coffee for the first time yesterday and was very impressed compared to the other reviews on here. The roast that they use for their coffee has very nice notes to it, and the drink was made well (I got an iced Vanilla Latte with Oat Milk). I also got a carrot cake for food, I would definitely recommend getting one if you are sitting down in the shop. The small selection of pastries that they have leaves me desiring more, and with what is coming soon to the shop gets me very excited. Tacos and other fun treats (ask for a food menu). I feel like this shop is going to age like fine wine, will keep getting better and better!! I really do think that this is a coffee shop that Sumner needed. One that is open late, has a fun and inviting atmosphere, has great coffee, and a great place to hang-out. They do have public Wi-Fi access. They were also playing some great music, my one-on-one conversation did not feel constricted. read more

To begin with, one of the most beautiful coffee shops I've ever stepped into. Every square inch feels meticulously detailed and intentionally thought through. The colors are vibrant and the natural lighting is incredible. Next, the coffee (they serve Proud Mary) is fabulous and they have an assortment of alternative milk options (try the cashew!). Finally, the staff was welcoming and friendly. In my sleep-deprived stupor, I mistakenly forgot to mention that I wanted my beverage "iced" and they remade it with no fuss or second thought. My wife even offered to pay for it, but the owner kindly and generously refused. Speaking of the incredible owner (WOC), she even took time to share about her journey and the vision of her business. If you're in Sumner, this is THE coffee house to frequent, but even if you're not from around here, you'll want to make the trip. You won't regret it. read more

This place has great coffee and great service. The drive thru is clutch in the mornings especially when it's cold out. The flavor of the coffee is sweet without sweetener and the milk alternative choices are great. You can also purchase ground beans to brew at home. I really enjoy the Proud Mary coffee they use. the atmosphere felt bright and unique and is a quite place to ideally study or sit down in a convenient location. but was oddly really quite for a normal coffee shop and i immediately sensed that. having a conversation with my friends felt constricted in that environment. the coffee was not the best and was way overpriced for what i got. the iced vanilla latte had an odd taste to it, probably from the type of syrup that they use. overall 5/10 read more
