My wife and I used Kendall Lighting most recently and were happy with our experience. I found the store to be fairly representative of lighting stores (they don't tend to vary a huge amount), but the service here was better than any of the other three I've been to. We set up an appointment to look at lighting with our interior designer and found our salesperson to be competent and not at all pushy. She was able to understand our design preferences and work with our budgetary concerns. We were able to get effective, attractive lighting at a price that made sense to us. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you are looking for new lighting for your home or are starting a build project of your own.

I enjoyed this place so much, I had to FaceTime my mom to show her how cool everything was. They had new, vintage, repurposed, and hand crafted pieces throughout the entire store. Pricing seemed high, but the quality was stellar. They also have a room full of just lampshades, so if you need to upgrade an old lamp, this would be a great place to go. They have a workshop in the store where they create items and it would be so cool to take an old piece to them and see what they can turn it into. They are right off of bridge street so you can plan for street parking. We went on the weekend when parking was free.

The showroom is on the small side, but they have types of lighting other stores don't, particularly if you want a beachy, cottage look or super contemporary. They are quick to pull up catalog options on their webpage, bc there are hundreds (thousands?) more available. Five stars for service. The pricing is small town pricing (more than on the web), but you won't get ANY service online, and large online lighting firms tend to make shipping mistakes or have parts missing, in my experience. They are still more expensive than other GR-area suppliers, so one point off. May still be worth it to get their service and variety.
