I always want to like places (like this). The place was clean and cute. The food however, really missed the mark, of a truly great drive in. The coney dog had some pre-fab coney sauce on it which wasn't good at all. The hot dog itself, was some very cheap; cheap tasting dog. Now, one thing I (did not) have, is the ice cream. Good solid burger place. No frills and kind of a throw back to old burger joints. It's a good solid place to stop on a road trip.

The Eldon Drive In. Another iconic place to grab some food while in Eldon. They have a great menu with something for everyone. Their restaurant is clean and inviting. They also have a drive thru which makes it very convenient to grab your favorite on the go. Dewayne, Debbie and Brian have done a lot for so many people over the years and have supported many other local businesses and people along the way. They have offered many young people jobs while going through school and have put plenty of smiles on young kids faces when they get their delicious banana split or sundae! They have one of the very best Pizza burgers around and the best Frito Pie in the area! Highly recommend the Eldon Drive In! read more

Very good, cheap burgers and massive Banana Splits. Service was good and food was better than expected.

Second time I have had poor service. Ordered a shake and an order of cheese balls. Got my shake no problem, waited at the counter for over 15 min and still waiting for the rest. When I asked about it the tour lady got snarky and said she had taken it to the kitchen but the young lady at the register found it sitting on the counter. No apology, no we can rush it, etc. from the one that took the order. The young lady at the register graciously gave me a refund and apologized. Wont be back, better options in Eldon. read more

Spent $65 dollars here. Yep $65 for all sorts of goodies, marshmallow pepsi's burgers, all sorts of stuff. It was our first time there, the kids (5 of them) were excited to try it. Really disappointed all around. First, we were treated terrible by the staff and the place is dirty. They were actually ignorant to us trying to even order. I should have just left then. But I didn't. After the kids ate, they were denied a cup of water (they had drank their marshmellow pepsi's) and simply wanted one single cup of water....... unless they paid 20 cents. No joke. We spent $65 here and they refused a single cup of water unless we paid 20 cents. What a freaking joke. Never going back and do not recommend supporting ignorance like that. Insane bad review of this crap hole Place is dirty, food was not good, bathroom was disgusting and the people were completely rude to us. We were there around 1pm on a Thursday. 7.13.17. Stopped here on a whim on our way to Osage beach. Low expectations but absolutely loved our experience! Staff was friendly, service was quick, and food was great. The value you receive for what you pay is excellent. Can't wait to try their ice cream some day! Their sweet tea and cleanliness was sub par but the rest of the experience made up for it. Okay so we stopped in because we have ate there in the past and it was good. We ordered 4 shakes two burgers one chili dog with cheese and one chicken sandwich with fries and a order of mushrooms . So the chocolate shakes was great. The fries and mushrooms also very good. The chili cheese dog was good but didn't have any cheese on it not a big deal. The chicken sandwich was fine but the two burgers we ordered we could not eat them they were really pink in the middle.That doesn't go over to well with the wife and my youngest daughter. If it would of been me eating there myself I wouldn't of ordered the burger and would have given the place a 4 star review. so I know it's tough getting help these days so double check your food cook a burger and cut into one every once and a while especially if they are coming from the freezer. We will eat there again and I'm hoping my review can be at a 5 next time. read more

I ate here on Saturday 8/22. I began going to summer camp near Eldon, MO in 1987. I think it has been there the entire time. When I worked at the camp in the mid 1990s my friends and I would come to the Eldon Drive In at night for snacks. I love it. It looks exactly the same and it is such a nostalgic place for me. I don't think they are hand making anything here but it's consistently good, the prices are reasonable, and it reminds me of some very fun nights! read more

This place was the reason I took clogging lessons and took them for many years in Eldon. I knew after I tapped my feet, my mother would take us here. The Creamie, The Eldon Drive-In. Everything is horrible for you, the chili cheese dogs added extra pounds I needed to clog off, but I waited in line every time. I never looked forward to Monday nights so much in my life. Horrible food and even worse workers. Place is dirty, food is cold, and hairy, management is rude, and employees are lazy. Waited to order because the employees was talking about what boys they like. Unprofessional. They dress unprofessional too. Rips in clothes you can see their bras and underwear really need to set a dress code for the boys too. Wish I could give 0 stars. I drive by this place every weekend and have failed to stop, but today I figured I was hungry so why not give it a shot. The drive thru is a true Drive Thru. No speakers, no prices on the menu board it was drive up to the window and order and pay. The initial wait in line was about 15 minutes, but when I received my food it was piping hot with a huge basket of freshly made fries and a steaming burger with all the fixings for a small price of $4.75. Great food at a great value. I highly recommend no matter what others have posted. I promise you it is a better wait then the rush of the processed fast food line. read more

Going to the Drive-In gives me wonderful memories from my teen years. My friends and I loved to hang out there and would pool our money to buy a 60-cent order of fries and a 25-cent small soda. The Bashams have been wonderful contributors to Eldon's business community for a long, long time. And of course, the food is really good! You couldn't be open for 30 years if you didn't have tasty food. I'm so happy the Drive-In has survived having McDonald's for a neighbor.
