From the very beginning, the quote was honest, fair, and very competitive. What stood out to us most throughout the build was their stellar communication. They kept us updated every step of the way, so we always knew what to expect. Like any major outdoor build, a few unexpected obstacles popped up during the job, but the team handled them smoothly and professionally without missing a beat. Mann Construction is a fantastic, reliable company to work with, and their craftsmanship speaks for itself. Highly recommended for any outdoor structure or construction needs!

Edited to address the owner's response: I actually think my photos tell the story pretty well…read more I've had 4 different paint contractors come to my home & all came to the same consensus: the tape BAKED onto the window trim's finish. This wasn't an issue on the windows on the North side. Why you ask? Because that side is shaded & if your theory were true, the finish should have been lifted there as well. Another thing I'll add now that I didn't add previously, I had to have an HVAC contractor out to address my AC since your crew covered my AC in 90 degree temps which caused it to overheat. Nevertheless, it's nice to see you can respond publicly yet couldn't be bothered to respond privately. Worst contractor experience I've had. Onit's crew damaged my home, refused to fix it, and went silent when I asked them to stop. Their crew taped and covered my windows in plastic in upper 80s to low 90s heat and left it baking in direct sun for days. Removing it stripped the factory woodgrain finish off my aluminum trim coil down to bare metal. Onit blamed "age related finish failure" and offered to sand and paint it, which can't replicate a factory texture. I had to file an insurance claim. The workmanship was poor: patchy, uneven spray finish, mismatched and uneven replacement wood trim, gouges in my Hardie siding, and screens bent by their pressure washer. (Onit subcontracts work out, and in my experience the subcontracted crew was not supervised) After I discovered the damage, I told the project manager in writing not to send the crew back over the weekend. They came anyway on a Sunday. I emailed the owner urgently to stop them. They both went silent, and more damage was done. The next day, Onit's own residential production manager called it "poor workmanship" and "not up to standard." I never heard back from the owner that day or since. Every step of holding them accountable, I had to push and escalate myself. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Onit to anyone. The work was poor, the damage was real, and when it mattered, they weren't there.

Can't say enough how Trim It Up treated our family - before - knowing they were going to get paid…read more We had a very negative experience with Service Master and Travelers Insurance which made our process to get our work completed extremely difficult. Gordie helped us through many of the nuances of this very bad claim experience and he did this before knowing they were going to get the job or get paid. His character showed through in the fact that he was more concerned with justice and helping us out than just trying to 'get the job'. Working with Trim It Up was a pleasure and dealing with Emily who keeps the communications flowing and is very responsive. We felt confident working with them for the entire 7 months it took to get our work done. I can say a lot more, but the point is ... they went over and above.

We are first-time homeowners. When our gutters EPICALLY failed on Day 3, the day after they were…read moreprofessionally cleaned, I panicked. I contacted Val who immediately got back to me, did research on the property from the listing photos, and diagnosed the problem instantly. The next day, I got an estimate much less than another company's, and Val was continuously in contact with me at all times. We scheduled to do the gutter replacement about a week after the first conversation, and his crew arrived on time and got the work done without fuss. But here's the best part: not only did he look at the roof for me because I told him I was concerned about my inspection report's inadequacy, he surveyed almost everything on the exterior of my house. He identified roof issues, vent issues, pointed out rot, noted where things were installed cheaply, etc. He didn't pressure us into any work, he simply laid out the things my inspector should have caught, sent me pictures, and gave me advice for how and when to address some of the issues. He was honest in explaining much of this is on our dime. He was also frank in saying the inspector should give us the extent of the money laid out in the contract because he did such a poor job. He also was clear in that so long as I don't have stains on my ceiling, it wasn't an emergency, so I didn't feel pressured, I felt educated. I'm going to fix this house. I'm going to use Val to get it done. If I were you, I'd use him, too.

To make a long story short I purchased an out of state investment property in Indianapolis…read more However, I was swindled by the seller and the properties were not as they appeared. I was stuck in a horrible position with the property management company I was working with and being out of state only made it worse. I searched for a contractor to help me get the properties fixed and rented out so I could finally make some income. I found a Val here on yelp and we began to communicate. Since the very beginning Val has been responsive, kind, understanding, knowledgeable, professional and attentive. He provided me with estimates for work that need to be done and we went forward. The properties were rehabbed thanks to Val and not only did it and there. Val went out of his way to meet with potential tenants to show them the properties during the day while he was working on other projects for other customers. He must've showed those properties to a couple dozen people and eventually he helped me decided on tenants. Val even helped me find a good lease agreement. Does it end there? Nope. Val continue to help me and get the lease agreement signed by the tenets. He mailed me lease agreements, first months rent and deposits through money orders in the mail. That's it's right? Again no. Doesn't end there. Soon after the property is rented out small issues came up with tenets mostly regarding the plumbing. Val was quick to show up to the properties and take care of the issues. Of course none of this was free, but was it worth what I paid. Absolutely. Now is this the end? No. After this experience with Val I have decided on one thing. I will continue to invest in properties in Indianapolis and I will only work with Val. He is a one stop shop and I know that working with him I will be OK. Val thank you my friend for all the work you have done for me. You are a great contractor but I consider you an even better friend now.
