My husband had a beard trim with hot towel shave and enjoyed the experience with Leslie a lot. His beard looked great (far less scraggly!) after. I had a scalp massage (super relaxing!) and hair cut with Aryn. It's hard to trust someone the first time, especially with wavy hair, but she did a great job and really listened to what I wanted. She was also very engaging and easy to talk to. As an aside, their hand painted walls are gorgeous! Wonderful experience, we would definitely come back.

Due to some scheduling and traveling challenges over the past few months, getting to Epic wasn't convenient for me, so I went elsewhere for a few trims and and no one had been able to fix my bang fiasco. (See another of my reviews for a different place in regards to this ginormous mistake!) I knew that Adrienne could work her magic and correct the problem, so I made an appointment as soon as time allowed. I could no longer stand my "wings" after living with them for several months and had three failed attempts at getting them tamed. I was almost embarrassed to be going back, but I was welcomed back with a big hug and a stylist that was genuinely happy to see me again! As I expected, I walked out loving my fresh color, and of course, my bangs FINALLY were under control and I really liked my style again!! It was a huge relief. I know that sounds a little dramatic, but have you ever been super self-conscious about something? I feel like the stylists at Epic really take the time to listen to what you want, and get to know both you and your hair before they even take the scissors out. I won't be going anywhere else from now on!

Years ago I had a bad experience with an esthetician who accidentally injected more Botox units than I wanted and I had zero movement in my forehead and drooping in one eye for 2 months. I was nervous to make this decision. I read Yelp reviews about Julie and LaJolie and scheduled an appointment. Julie listened intently to my history with Botox treatments, what my goals were- a small amount of movement, not totally frozen- and gave professional feedback with her suggestions. I am happier with the Botox treatment from Julie than my previous esthetician! I didn't expect to have found someone even better. I am just delighted, Julie is very skilled and pays close attention.
