We have a small dog (15lbs) terrier mix that we would like to board in July and would like to know if you offer overnight boarding?

Hi Fred! Thanks so much for reaching out. We are not taking boarding requests at this time. I am the owner and I board out of my home and we are presently in the process of buying a new home. So, lots of packing and moving and unpacking to be done… Read more

Olympia Kennels - My dog from Olympia

Olympia Kennels

From the moment my husband reached out, the communication was outstanding. Mike and his staff are incredibly knowledgeable about the breed and took the time to answer all of our (many) questions and concerns, making us feel confident in our decision! We also live in the town of Chester and have driven by Olympia for years. From the road it looks beautiful, but we were still so impressed upon entering. The facility was so clean, well-organized, and clearly designed with the dogs' well-being in mind. Each puppy seemed very happy and healthy which speaks volumes about the care they receive. We also appreciated the follow-up after the purchase. After sending a email with some pictures of the puppy doing well with the transition to his new home, Mike called to thank us, as he clearly cares for the puppies and families he works with. We have been home with our handsome pup for a couple weeks now and he is doing fantastic with house training, eating great, and transitioned extremely well! Such an amazing temperament and just an amazing addition to our family! If you're looking for a reputable and caring breeder, I wholeheartedly recommend Olympia Kennels. The passion for their work shines through, and we are beyond grateful to have found such a lovely puppy to join my family!

Im a very protective and research person when making a decision. Olympia Kennels was a word of mouth one and got a lot of positive feedback. I knew immediately when I met Mike and his team it was the place. However I didn't know on day one how amazing this journey would be. To some have multiple pups at the same time most trainers are judgemental and not supportive of this hard journey my family has taken on and we are very capable of. Mike has stood by his word and taken care and taught my family and my pups who are 1.5 years old. They stayed with Mike for 6 weeks at 8months old and taught them a great foundation. He even stood by his word and when we had a minor behavior issue with one of my boys he took him right back and worked with him asap and made immediate room for our need. We will be continuing with Olympia and both our family and dogs learning how to best train and grow together.

I was having a really…read morehard time with my puppy who was starting to show some reactive tendencies, especially around other dogs. I reached out to Nikki's K9 training in a moment of desperation and could not be more glad that I did! Nikki totally renewed my love for my dog and has set my dog up for success at home and in stressful environments. After the first session with Nikki, I had a whole new dog! My puppy was calmer, able walk politely on a leash, knew how to look for leadership, and follow training directions overall. I worked with 3 other trainers (private and group sessions) and a dog socialization program without any progress before I met Nikki. Nikki's program and approach is the only thing that has made a difference in my dog's behavior. On top of the training, Nikki has a wealth of knowledge in canine health and nutrition. She helped design a feeding plan for my puppy that was customized to his breed and size. Nikki has been able to answer every question I've had related to dog ownership with expertise and compassion. Most of all, I appreciate how Nikki really understands my dogs needs. She does not try to train away what makes my puppy special. Instead, she customizes her approach to align the the dog's overall motivation which makes for a much happier puppy! 1,000,000/10

We were blessed enough to work with Nikki, and I am happy to say our dog Saffie is a very different dog. We were able to build her confidence up working with Nikki and her amazing doggie partner Koda. We now have her crate trained and off leash trained! She still doesn't like other dogs or new people, but she's much less reactive now than she was before training with Nikki. If you have a dog that needs a lot of help, or a dog that just needs some fine tuning, then Nikki is your answer. Thanks Nikki, and thanks Koda!

I am happy to be writing this review for Wonderpup Dog Training. We have three dogs all with very…read moredifferent personalities. All are rescues, and have had some abuse/neglect in their pasts. Seren did an excellent job of teaching us how to work with them and meet them where they are, each one. One needs more confidence, so we worked with her on that. Another needed to learn basic commands so we worked with her on that. Our male is a mellow guy and just needed to learn how to relax and not be so anxious so we learned how to work with him. I highly recommend Seren. She really listens to you and helps you understand your dogs behavior and body language. If I could give her 10 stars, I would.

The Classes are held upstairs in Chester's slightly cramped American Legion Hall (less than 800sq ft) . There are at least 5-6 dogs in each class. The Trainer's style is very authoritative and absolute, she rushes through the commands and demo's and then has you attempt them in your cramped section of the room divided by extended wire dog pens. Our Dog is high energy and barks throughout her instructions, we were asked to give our pup a 'busy item" to keep her occupied. The busy item (Food and Treat Based) distracts the dog from receiving any meaningful training. All the dog wants now is treats without working for them. The entire class revolves around teaching the dog key words and rewarding them with food. The trainer also hates when you correct your dog with a leash pull or snap, She make you feel like you're abusing your pet by doing so. This is not my first Rodeo and Wonderpup Training conflicts with Good Field Retriever Trainings found on Youtube or elsewhere. If you have a Field bred Performance Retriever or Working Dog, look elsewhere.

I sent the owner, Rick, a check for 500 in March to secure a spot on a waiting list for a chocolate lab. He acknowledged he had received my check a few days after I sent it. As the date for puppy pick up approached I tried reaching out to Rick with questions regarding when I could come pick up my puppy. I texted him daily for 3 days and received no response. I then started calling (no answer, full mailbox) Facebook messaged and emailed. No response. He finally responded to me 5 days later saying some puppies had been stolen by an employee and he was "sorting things out". However he communicated on FB that the puppies were sick. I continued to try reaching him for several days to no avail. Several families were in the same boat (no response to repeated attempts to contact) and we were communicating our confusion and concern on his Facebook page. Shortly thereafter he took down his Facebook page. I have since heard that some families did get their puppies but several did not. I also heard from some families that the price originally quoted increased substantially once it was time to pick up. So we're left bitterly disappointed with no explanation and no puppy. There are several reputable, licensed breeders in N.H. Choose one of them and steer clear of this guy.
