They said they could not card info on the phone. I called again a month later to explain I was not "there" and that I needed to update and again, they said they could not. I decided to let it sit and, as advised, I thought I would just update and continue my membership as the money paid in would cover most of my monthly membership. When I arrived there today (2-16) the lady who took my $60 failed to tell me prior that my membership and terminated. She then told me that after 3 declines from a card results in that. So I asked why I was made to suffer when this was a company decision and not my fault. I told them that this was taking money on false pretenses. I advised that I would visit my SECU and have them take the money back. My decision now is to leave that charge on to remind me not to use them again. So based on the decisions of "corporate" I paid $60 for nothing! That will never happen again. David N

I will say its bizarre they dont provide goggles for you, but who knows? Different franchise owners may have different rules for their locations.. my store will provide goggles (but Ive also purchased my own goggles to keep in my bag just incase I come across that they are not provided). I dont remember her name, but the manager (blonde and if I remember correctly, name starts with an 'S'?) is AMAZING! She is so kind, and excited to go over bed options for me based on what questions I have! Im a cross market tanner (CMT - my membership is from CA, and so they have a different way in their system to check you in than a membership from a local store), and she remembered my code! Its truly the little things that make the biggest difference! I am still on the hunt to find a PBT with the Sunboard XTT around Charlotte (my location in Mission Viejo had one - its my absolute FAVORITE bed), but in the meantime, will of COURSE continue to come back to this location!

The store itself could use a little TLC. It's not always the most organized or fully stocked-looking, and I've noticed the floors seem to need a little extra attention pretty much every time I visit. It doesn't bother me too much since I'm usually in and out, but it definitely impacts the overall first impression. Luckily I'm not judging this book by its cover, because I know it's got what I need! My bigger issue has been with the brow bar appointments. I'm not sure what the point of making an appointment is when the scheduled time doesn't seem to be consistently honored. I understand things happen, but when you make an appointment, you're generally planning your day around that time. This is an issue almost at every Ulta brow bar, not just this location to be honest. My most recent brow appointment was especially frustrating. The actual wax and tint were done well, so credit where credit is due! Unfortunately, I left with lingering tint sitting on top of my brows and along the side of my face. Thankfully I was headed home and could easily clean it up, but I kept thinking, what if I had somewhere to be afterward? At $46, I'm expecting the service to be a little more polished, especially when it comes to timing and the finishing touches. I really do like the convenience of having the brow bar here and the staff is lovely, but these little things add up and make me less eager to book again. There's definitely potential here. I'd love to see a little more attention to detail and consistency before recommending to others.

I was hoping for a wonderful experience here after reading some great reviews online. The first…read morething that put me off was I called D to change my appointment from one day to the next & I was told that if I do that again, they're going to charge me. I would have been a new client & was not aware of this but I was called into work. And they did not even have my credit card yet & are already threatening to charge me. Not a great first impression. I went today and had my eyebrows tinted and when I booked the service online it said it cost $20. When I got to the register to pay, she said $30. I questioned her on the price and she said oh it's $30 I should've told you before I started. Why was this 50% more than what is posted online ?! I came home and looked on her website again and it says $20. I still left of her a generous tip anyway. While she was doing my service. I felt like the conversation was forced. It was a bit uncomfortable I felt she really had no interest in getting to know me as a potential new client. I mentioned I was interested in a lash service as well & she didn't even offer to book me or say if she had time today while I was there. Ehhhh was my experience. I see they do hair here & said the hair products smell so good. That would've been a good opening to say- "you should get your hair done here" I would've booked a cut & color if the vibe was more warm & welcoming. I need a place that does all these things & it's unfortunate it won't be this place.

Not only did it look like I had gotten obvious filler, it appeared lumpy and top heavy, overflowing from the lip line. No refund for the $750+ spent on a syringe, just dissolving of the overfilled lips. This was the first time I ever had to get filler dissolved and I feel like it's negatively affected the skin around my lips, but she pushed those concerns to the side. I just can't believe I wasn't offered a refund or anything when I paid for a service gone horribly wrong that affected my appearance this badly. I've spent thousands of dollars at OVME and have been a longtime member, but I reconsidered all that given this experience and lack of resolution/refund.

However, the experience changed once I arrived. The building is shared by multiple businesses with very thin walls, so you can hear everything going on. The previous client was sounding upset through the wall, repeatedly asking how many times she would need to return, and the practitioner suggested it might be due to her medication affecting results. This back-and-forth went on for quite a while and extended past my scheduled appointment time (which was only 30 minutes). After the client left, I was called in--I had been waiting right outside. As soon as I entered, I was immediately hit with a strong smoke smell (reefer-like), which was off-putting. The treatment room had paper placed down the middle of the table, but given how rushed the transition was from the previous client to me, I wasn't confident that proper cleaning or sanitizing had taken place, especially on the sides or any tools involved. Between the overwhelming smell and concerns about cleanliness, I felt uncomfortable and uneasy with the situation.
