Pastor and asada with free quesadilla

I ordered chorizo and pastor. WTF IS THISSSS. THATS NOT EVEN PASTOR OR CHORIZO!!! I don't even think that's pastor or even real meat. I asked the guy if the asada was chorizo and he said yes. I told him that it's asada. He gaslit me to thinking it chorizo. DO NOT EAT HERE. El volcan in the toilet more like. Not worth $4 for a taco.

    after math of the burrito:

This food is such a disappointment. Over priced, disgusting, tastes like literal perfume was in my burrito. Please Please don't even bother to stop here. No flavor.. where's the seasoning?? Would you really want to pay over 15 dollars for a small, tacky, soggy, hot dog? No you deserve better than that. This photo is how I felt after trying food, just imagine ..

Great service, fast and friendly! Best part was the freshly made corn tortillas on the tacos and the quesadillas we had.

Seriously? 10 dls for this hot dog? Is ridiculous , what a way to steel people"s money ! First and last

All I gotta say is, these tacos need cabbage & cilantro...

Yeah I don't really know what to think about these tacos... I'm more disappointed that the taco looked very poor without the cabbage & cilantro. Maybe that's something you guys should add to the tacos & maybe it would of been a good taco. I also tried the horchata & it had no horchata flavor & it tasted almost just like water.

Everything is so overpriced here and it's 1 salsa cup per plate ‍. I recommend El Zacatecano it's a nice restaurant just up the street.

Food is okay. We have been here maybe 5 times and each time our order was incorrect. Each order was verified by the cashier.

Road travel can be challenging enough, and being treated like only a number isn't satisfying. Dear Hubby and I stopped by on a Friday evening during the long drive from Southern California to the Bay Area. He was hungrier than I was, and I struggled to find something on the lighter side that was still tasty. I had decided on the albacore tuna sandwich and splitting a side of onion rings with DH. Then the drama with the kiosk ordering system began. Onion rings weren't coming up as a choice at all. The kitchen staff (including whoever was suppose to be available to run the regular register in case someone wants to pay with cash or has questions) were all busy, busy doing their things. Their backs were to their customers, which became annoying and rude. I DID have questions, and the kiosk wasn't allowing me to order what I wanted to order. I ended up telling DH what I wanted and gave up to go to the car as I'd forgotten something in there. When I came back he was waiting to fill up our drink cups. He gave me the table number card and I found a table. He said that he did get to speak with a human after all after I'd gone outside. Surprise, surprise! When the food came, my sandwich, while tasty, was super sloppy with too much sauce. I had a hard time eating it without risking wearing part of the 'wich on my clothes. It was an unsatisfying experience on many levels. I don't blame this store, per se - I realize that it's a decision foist on them by management up the food chain. I've always respected the Habit Burger chain, but that feeling took a big hit with the fiasco at the Salinas location. I didn't feel welcome or appreciated. Removing the human connection is a big mistake for any business that requires building customer loyalty. Saving a few bucks on a real worker by installing an ordering kiosk that's not smart is not good business, in my humble opinion. I would not plan to return to this location, and will not have Habit as a top choice for dining out any time soon at other locations.

A couple of friends and me took the opportunity to stop by on our drive back to LA from the Bay Area (along the 101). First impression: one of those convivial breweries with a thriving locals aspect and vibe. Friends I was with are really into craft beer, so we felt right at home. The folks here were super friendly and welcoming. As a matter of fact, there were some cookies made from another regular that was offered to us while we were there. And those cookies were delish. They have a good variety of styles on draft, but I opted for the BA Barleywine, which was excellent. They also had the football games playing on the TV there so there was that sports bar aspect without being to crowded/ crazy. This place is located in an industrial area of Salinas. We didn't have a problem at all finding parking. Love their beers and love this spot. I would definitely hit it up more if I was able.
