Pupusa

I use to love buying pupusas here that's the only reason I kept comming back but today I picked up my order went home and starting eating them & let's just say they're not filling them up as much as they use to. Honestly kind of felt like I was eating nothing but masa like noooooo idk if it's a new person making them but I was so disappointed. Probably the last time I'll order here

bad customer service

Came in in a super hot day with a cup of water in my hand and the first thing the old man said was if you're eating here no drinks allowed. I would be perfectly fine if he had welcomed us and then tell us that but unfortunately that was not the case. If they want their business to grow i would recommend working on customer service they absolutely lack morals and have a disgusting attitude towards the customer

Best pupusas I've ever had! This place definitely is Salvadorian comfort food done right! I wish I had taken a before picture but was so amazed when I got my plate I just dug in. I would recommend this place to everyone looking for a good home cooked meal.

This place was amazing!! Delicious, authentic, Salvadorian food. The restaurant itself is a little out dated, but very clean. Masks are mandatory. Friendly service. The food will not disappoint!!

Good food but staff are not proficient in English which makes it difficult if you don't know their language, as many of us don't.

If you want good food and poor service this place is for you. I won't even go into details but the waitress is rude.

Average food and prices. Below average waitresses though, they can be really rude at times

Seriously, you can't go wrong with anything you order. And don't let the long lines scare you! The service is super quick, so you're not waiting nearly as long as you might expect. I also got their grilled onions and peppers, and that little extra kick took everything to another level. If you're coming to Vegas and want a cheap, filling meal, this is definitely a spot to add to your list. And honestly, one vampiro taco and you will be STUFFED! The hype is real. Definitely worth the stop!

It seemed a little confusing at first, but they clearly have it worked out to a science and everything moves pretty quickly. The homemade corn tortillas were probably one of my favorite parts. The steak and pork tacos were both excellent and definitely my favorites. The chorizo was okay, but I'd probably skip it next time and get another steak or pork instead. Overall, the tacos were delicious and we were really pleased with the experience. It's a fun place and a little different from your typical taco shop. I would definitely go back the next time I'm in Vegas.

From the moment we walked in, we felt like we had stepped into the world of the beloved classic Mexican television show El Chavo del 8. The décor perfectly captures the charm and warmth of "la vecindad," making it a fun experience for both adults who grew up watching the show and younger generations experiencing it for the first time. The food was outstanding. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared with authentic Mexican flavors that truly stood out. The drinks were just as impressive--refreshing, expertly made, and the perfect complement to our meal. What really made our visit special was the incredible service. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making us feel like family from start to finish. The restaurant also has a wonderful family-friendly atmosphere where everyone can relax, laugh, and enjoy a great meal together. La Vecindad isn't just a place to eat--it's an experience filled with delicious food, amazing drinks, exceptional service, and a nostalgic tribute to El Chavo del 8 that brings smiles to every table. We can't wait to come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great Mexican cuisine and a memorable dining experience. Five stars all the way!

I was excited to dine in the main dining room rather than at my bar-area table from Wednesday. Travis, our server, was fantastic, just like Mariah on my first visit. I will say, it seemed even louder in the main dining room. The electronic dance music soundtrack makes you feel like you're dining in a hot dance club. Definitely not the place for a quiet dinner, but it's all part of the Toca Madera experience. We started with the Watermelon and Passion Fruit Margaritas. Both superb. For a starter, we ordered the Queso Fundido. It arrived at the table like molten lava, so we had to give it a few minutes before diving in. Once we did, it was incredible. For our entrees and sides, we had the Petite Filet and Seared Scallops. Both were awesome. We also ordered the Street Corn, which I had loved so much on Wednesday, and the Whipped Potatoes. The potatoes, with a little jalapeño oil and lime salt, were insanely good. During dinner, Travis treated our table to Toca Madera's fire shots. They arrive in tall shot glasses topped with a seasoned lime slice and sugar cube, which is then lit on fire tableside. It's quite the presentation and fits this restaurant perfectly. Apparently we made a good impression on management, because dessert turned into an event of its own. We were treated to a huge platter featuring the Brownie Celebration along with the Strawberry Tres Leches and Brown Butter Cake. It was quite a finish to the meal. As great as my Wednesday dinner was, Friday night was even better. And this time we had a ringside seat for Toca Madera's female fire performer, who came out at 7:30 and again at 8:30. Watching her perform just a few feet from our table was amazing and really capped off the evening. Two visits in three days. That probably tells you everything you need to know about how much I enjoyed Toca Madera.

We had the chicken and waffles and the French toast--both delicious. The staff even brought out a complimentary birthday dessert for my sister, which was such a sweet touch. Just a heads-up: we came for the fire show and belly dancing advertised, but those are apparently only during dinner service. They also don't allow balloons. Even with those minor hiccups, the service and food were so good that we're planning to return for dinner to see the show. Highly recommend!
