Burritos Guisos de el Canelo food truck is delicious. Never a disappointment. Flavor of their ranchero burritos reminds me of my childhood. My favorite little spot.

The Ceviche de Camaron amazing! The mix molcajete !! Full of flavor in there house made sauce

Amazing food!!! Flavor beyond words! The environment was top tier ! The service hands down!!!! The best! I felt right at home and the welcomed ! I'll definitely come back! Anyone in the area stop on by!

    Broken plate

I never actually ate inside until today so we were excited to actually sit down and eat. Usually we get tacos from their truck outside which are always pretty good which explains why we don't mind the drive. I was pretty bummed that we came here for the birria tacos and the waiter said they only had goat (we don't eat goat). The food was not good. The best part was the oysters and the beer my husband ordered everything that wasn't cooked. I did like the horchata. Service could have been better they weren't even busy and it took forever to get them to come by or even bring the food. The price for the asada fries is ridiculous considering the serving size (go to Roberto's it's better and price is better too) ... for the price I would think the plates would at least be upgraded when broken.

Aguachiles were so warm not good at all

I almost feel bad for giving this place 2 stars but the food here was not good at all. I like to look for places off the strip when I visit Vegas and found this spot first on tiktok then on Google. The portions were so small I was shocked when I got my plate because all there pics I saw of their food show such large portions. But ok not a big deal if at least the food was the right temperature. I got the breakfast machaca and I'm guessing it was left over from the day before because it all just tasted microwaved and my husband got the aguachiles and they were so warm I almost felt like throwing up. I will say the service was ok the staff was really friendly that's why I gave 2 stars instead of 1 although we never got refills for anything lol. It could've been that I just came on a bad day but I definitely won't come a second time to test the theory.

Amazing food! This is not my first time visiting this establishment but it is my first time writing a review. Went to El Canelo after work to unwind. We were say immediately and our host Gustavo was very friendly and attentive. Our drinks came fast and the food that we ordered made fresh and hot. The place had Mariachi singers that went to each table to sing to patrons. I ordered the MolCajete and it was so divine. The tortilla that they serve is home made and they serve a lot of it, so no need to order another set and get charged extra like some other places that I have gone to. The place is clean and is buzzing with energy and of course, the voices of the Mariachi men who are serenading patrons. It was a good kind of loud. The service was fast and efficient. Come by and visit, they will not disappoint. Cheers!

    Over priced

Food was cold and over priced the plate the ordered was $30 and it only had 10 shrimps, they never came to ask us if we were good or needed anything else and I had to wait 15 mins or more so they could bring us the bill.

    Tostada Mixta

First time, walked in and the sign said to wait to be seated. Well a person even left because no one really acknowledged you. After a person walked in and told the waitress we were waiting she sat us. Her service was good she even gave suggestions since she realized we were new to the place. Food was not bad, both la torre and the tostada mixta were from the same mix of marisco which is fine. The agua fresca of cucumber was really good. Oh and my daughter loved the cheeseburger

    Mixto Molcajete

The Mixto Molcajete is amazing! Beef, Chicken & different style shrimps with Nopales and grilled onions and queso fresco. The service was also good & attentive. When our family visits Vegas, it's a must!

It's decent traditional Mexican food if you're in a pinch, but nothing to write home about or put on the grid. ‍

As a michelada enthusiast I was very pleasantly surprised that their in house michelada is one of the best I have had! Relatively kid friendly place, our kids enjoy their miso soup that also has mushrooms so it's more filling than other misos. They also enjoy the avocado handroll and edamame. Ambiance is quaint with tv's, a bar area that's also like a sushi bar, and you can see the giant brewing containers for the beer behind the bar. So cool. PS .. Please don't skip the michelada! We decided to try it for two reasons: we wanted to avoid the long wait at Palace Station Oyster Bar, and our 14-year-old was excited to try pan roast for the first time and loves raw oysters. When we arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty, with only one couple seated by the window. We didn't let that discourage us from giving it a try. The restaurant appeared to be a true mom-and-pop operation, staffed by one cook, one kitchen helper, and a waitress who also greeted and seated guests. The waitress was friendly, attentive, and provided prompt service. We were quickly seated, given water, and handed menus. The décor is simple and unpretentious, creating a casual neighborhood feel. We ordered two Seafood Combo Pan Roasts, Linguine with Clams, a half dozen raw oysters, and an extra order of rice to soak up the pan roast sauce. The Seafood Pan Roast was disappointing. Instead of the rich, seafood creamy savory that makes this dish so satisfying, it leaned heavily on tomato sauce. The consistency was quite soupy, with only small pieces of seafood scattered throughout. The Linguine with Clams had a strong briny flavor but lacked the garlic, butter, and savory seasoning we were expecting. There was also very little clam meat, making the dish feel underwhelming. Overall, the service was warm and welcoming, but unfortunately the food didn't quite live up to our expectations. Based on the many positive reviews, I have a feeling we may have visited on an off day. We truly appreciated the attentive service and the convenience of easy parking, so we'd be open to giving PK Oyster Bar another try in the future.

It's in a small building with a diner-like setting so I sat at the bar area. The surf & turf taco is quite large with some guac and crispy onion straws giving a creamy and crunchy finish and it's seasoned well. The marlin adobada has a unique flavor profile with the smoked tuna marinated in pineapple and achiote w/ cheese onions, and a guac aioli sauce; the pineapple flavors definitely come through so if you like that flavor, definitely get this one. The cabo tostada was the best of them all as one of the ceviche tostada ooptions. It has shrimp, octopus, and scallops in a spicy sauce with a lot of lime juice and a pickled carrot/onion/cucumber finish. All the flavors of these ingredients go well together and they give a lot of seafood. Definitely a must-order. With restaurant prices elevating, this place is one of the more affordable low-key eating options in the area. Since I know that some seafood boils prepare different types of shellfish in the same pot, I asked our server if my food could be prepared separately from any crab or shrimp. She assured me that this was absolutely possible and said she would make a note of it on our order. About 20 minutes later, our server came back and told me that the crawfish could not be prepared in a separate pot because it is cooked in the same water as the shrimp and crab. Since she specifically mentioned the crawfish, I was under the impression that I would still be receiving my mussels. Another 20 minutes passed, and all of my friends had received their food while I was still waiting. We asked our server for an update, and she told us that she thought I had canceled my entire order because the mussels are also cooked in the same water as the crab and shrimp. This was frustrating because when she initially came back to explain that the accommodation could not be made, she only mentioned the crawfish. Had I been told that the mussels were also prepared in the same water and that my entire order would need to be changed or canceled, I would have been more than happy to choose something else. Instead, I waited another 20 minutes without realizing that my order had effectively been canceled. I completely understand that not every restaurant can accommodate a specific allergy request, and I don't expect them to. In fact, I've been to other seafood boil restaurants and have never had an issue understanding what can and cannot be prepared separately. My main concern here was the lack of clear communication. Overall, I think the restaurant could really benefit from better communication between the kitchen and servers, as well as clearer communication with customers about what accommodations are and aren't possible. I would have been much more understanding if I had simply been given all of the information upfront.

And of course wine, more wine, etc. See our receipt. 7/15/26 - Sadly, the total opposite experience! Our waiter "A" was only able to get one thing correct... See service below. Today's food was good - Calamari, West Coast oysters (we actually ordered the East coast oysters again... and Chardonnay (we actually ordered the French Sauvignon Blanc again...) Atmosphere - This location replaced Spago's, who moved to Bellagio, so I am very familiar with the space. Open kitchen now, a few changes in decor. I like the private rooms upstairs.
