Dare I say best seafood boil in the 702!? This place is nonstop packed so reservations through google is a must. I love hot n juicy too don't get me wrong but boiling crab has a special place in my heart. When you get the choose the seasoning there is an option to get it an everything at once and I'd say that is a must for all the food. Shrimp and crab was fire. Then the deep fried oysters took me out. The only note I'd made is to step it up with the micheladas but I feel like it's honestly whoever makes them lol no biggie tho. Interior is fun. I visited The Boiling Crab twice in a span of 3 weeks and both times, I was not provided any crab utensils. The server told me that all the crab utensils were being used at the moment, which was unfortunate because the restaurant wasn't even at capacity. Once I received my king crab legs, I had asked the employee that delivered my food if I can get a set of utensils and she said she would check if there were any available. She came back about 2 minutes later to tell me there weren't any available and they only had a handful available. If you've ever tried to go to this place, you know that the line is long we learned our lesson after visiting the one in Rosemead. We checked in with Yelp 45 minutes ahead of time I think that's the only way to get into this restaurant at a reasonable amount of time. The seafood boil was delicious. My only complaint is that the shrimp is not deveined and when you get the shell off, it's pretty mushy other than that...Everything else was great for a family of seven. We spent just over $200 but we only needed to make one bag for the family. The kids that didn't eat seafood ate chicken nuggets and fries. I haven't had a seafood boil in years. I came here for my birthday and was disappointed. My snow crab legs were small and bendable. The shell of the crab was soft. I'm guessing the crab molted before caught. The pound of shrimp I also ordered was close to mush. The shell of the shrimp was soft it stuck to the body and I could barely separate the shell from the shrimp. The flavor of the sauce was good but the quality of the food wasn't good.
