The chimichurri on the side wasn't the authentic Argentinian recipe, but it was still good. I ordered it medium rare, exactly how I like it, and it was amazing, tasty, and delicious. (See photo #1.) Today (June 19th), I decided to stop by again--but it was a huge disappointment. The churrasco I received didn't taste like NY Strip Steak and tasted like the regular cheap meat you get when you go to a bad cheap Mexican restaurant and order the famous carne asada plate. It wasn't cooked to the medium temperature I ordered. The cut was extremely thin, almost like Carne Asada or Chuck Roast (the kind used for their $9.99 corrientazo or the meat they served on the "Bandeja Paisa plate" . It was dried, rubbery, and had no taste whatsoever. I mentioned the issue to the waiter and even showed him the meat while asking for the bill. He told me, "I'm sorry, today was your unlucky day , I will let them know"?. This is Unacceptable. A good restaurant management should approach the customer and replace the meal or not even charging ! He acknowledged it was completely wrong when he saw the meat and apologized sincerely. That honesty was appreciated, but it's stories like this that make a restaurant lose its reputation and push customers away. In my case, I'm now afraid to come back and waste my money. Nowhere online or in person or even when talking to the receptionist did anybody say the band comes in after 12:30 or that the event has a $20 entry fee per person ! The server took 20 minutes to take our drink order and another 20 minutes to bring it. We had to flag him down to take our food order. It was not busy so it shouldn't have taken this long. We left by 12:30 without seeing the Banda so we asked if we could have our money back for the entry and the first thing the receptionist says is that she told us the Banda comes at 12:30 and sales are final. I tried explaining that we were not informed anywhere, but she was so rude! She has too much attitude to be working the front desk. Also, the event is 21 years and over and families were being turned away. Online didn't say that so families were making reservations with kids I wouldn't recommend for the shitty service and lack of upfront communication.
