Nice seating area outside , lots of booths inside with plenty of Sports on the numberous Big Sceens Yes ! Now for the menu , so much to choose from . Our waiter Gerado Ortiz came immediately and stocked us with nice warm tasty chips and salsa ! Yummy ! We ordered bacon wrapped shrimp as an appetizer OH MY the sauce was amazing , we decided to share a appetizer platter which has everything , boneless wings, flautas, quesadillas, fully loaded nachos and guacamole ! I tried the beard batter fish and shrimp tacos plate with rice and beans. I ordered 2 fish and 1 shrimp taco and they got my order wrong. I ended up with 2 shrimp and 1 fish which was no biggie for me but a lot of the food tasted like package food. The rice was cold and tasted like it was that rice you buy at the groceries that it's already made and prepackaged. The shrimp was way too salty and I am not a picky eater. The salsa they serve with the chips also taste like packaged salsa, the tortillas on the tacos were cold and stale. My wife asked for a Pepsi and it had a strong taste of bleach, it was so bad that she asked for a different drink. I would definitely not recommend this place at all. Unfortunately this place sucks. 1. Drinks - we ordered them and it took around 30 mins for them to arrive. The margarita was basically cheap tequila with a mix. 2. The wait for food also pretty long. I'd be ok with it if the food was at least mediocre. The food was bad. My stake was supposed to be medium rare but it was overly cooked, overly chewy. It was bad. 3. The waitress was nice, but that poor girl was tending so many tables I felt bad for her. Hope she at least gets health insurance at this job. 4. Did I mention the food was bad? For real, everything can be forgiven (though times, post pandemic etc) but god this food was really bad. The guacamole had no seasoning and drinks had no salt on the rim (they claimed they did). For the price the quality was not there, the service was not there and honestly it was a total waste of time to go there for dinner. read more

This is a honestly a meh chain restaurant. It's not great but it's not awful. Don't have high expectations. I like that this location is open pretty late. We came in around 9pm on a Tuesday. Place was pretty much empty. On Tuesday's that have all day all you can eat tacos for $13.99, either beef, chicken, or carnitas. If you're hungry on a Tuesday I'd go for it. We weren't THAT hungry lol so we just ordered off the menu. service was good Food was good Margaritas subpar We ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp. It comes with 4 pieces and in the picture on the menu they looked a lot bigger. I was a little disappointed when our server brought the plate out and the shrimp looked so small. They tasted delicious though! Had a little jalapeño in between the shrimp and bacon and it came with a yummy dipping sauce. It was a tasty dish so yeah I'd probably get it again but I wish there was at least one more shrimp or larger pieces. My bf had the shrimp taco trio, also really yummy. The sides the dish came with were just eh, some Mexican style rice, corn bread, and beans. The slaw under the tacos was great, shrimp cooked and seasoned well, and a little kick from some spicy mayo as well. We each had a regular margarita blended one strawberry and one pomegranate. These margaritas were probably the worst I've ever had. Big ice chunks made it hard to drink and I couldn't taste any alcohol at all. Bummer! read more

I came here for a holiday lunch party with a group of 28 co-workers. Reservations had been made 2 weeks in advance, including a $200 deposit. When we arrived the host said that there were no reservations. We waited for about half an hour until the person from our group arrived who had given a deposit. The manager at El Torito apologized and seated us right away, although not in the private room we had reserved. He took 10% off our bill due to this error. There was a set menu of appetizer, entree (3 choices), flan for dessert, along with drinks. The appetizer was freshly made guacamole. The entree choices were fajitas, some carnitas dish, and another combination item. Pretty much everyone ordered the fajitas (choice of chicken, steak, or shrimp). While we waited for our food to be prepared, we ate the complimentary chips and salsa. While the freshly prepared guacamole with onions and tomatoes tasted good, I had expected there to be something of more substance for the appetizer. The fajitas came with sweet corn cake, flour or corn tortillas, stir fried veggies (onions, green bell peppers, and potatoes), Mexican rice, and beans. I went with the shrimp fajitas and while the quantity was plentiful, they tasted rather bland. Some of my co-workers went with steak and they said it was chewy. My boss went with the chicken, and while it wasn't over cooked, he said it was bland as well. The flour tortillas didn't taste very fresh and seemed a little stale. When it came time for the flan dessert, we were told that would be extra, even though the menu said it was on there. I was a little disappointed as I was hoping the dessert would salvage this sub-par food. The price for this holiday lunch was a little south of our $25 budget per person (before the 10% discount). That is too much to pay for the food and service that we received. I was extremely disappointed with the reservation fiasco, the sub-par food, and no dessert. This was my first and last time that I will be visiting this place. The quality and variety of food, service, and similar pricing is so much better at El Torito's sister location; El Torito Grill. And to top it off it is only a mile away from this location. read more

If you are coming here for the happy hour on tues, either come early or late. The service here is a hti or miss. The managers are very attentive. The servers are TOO busy and cannot get to each table fast enough. Stock up on extra salsa and water when you have the servers attention. The tacos are small, but for $1 who can complain. The corn tortillas are fresh and there is a condiment bar, with ALL YOU CAN PACK ON cheese, onions, lettuce, and hot sauces. The margaritas here are deliciously strong :) They have flavored or unflavored. The unflavored is the strongest. I would also recommend the midori or cantalope margarita on the rocks. If you are a light weight you can ask for blended. FREE salsa and chips, who can complain. The crowd here for taco tues is not bad. Mostly young professionals. HAPPY HOURING!!! read more

It's been awhile since I've been to a El Torito. It's my first time at this location. I came here with family for Thanksgiving brunch. The good thing was the staff and service. It was friendly and prompt. There's ample parking. Unfortunately, the building looks worn down. There was a lack of upkeep in the flooded toilet upstairs. The carpet looked dingy. The space is far too big. The tables creaked if pressed on when getting up from the table. The foods were salty. Very very salty, the beef and soups. I didn't even bother with the ham or turkey. The desserts looked sad. There was bread pudding, Mexican sweet bread, flan, and pumpkin pie. I was disappointed since it was $20.99 for an adult. I don't think I'll be coming back any time soon. read more
