I've been a fan of El Tacontento since their street vendor location on N. Rancho so it was cool to find their second location towards the back of the store of a gas station. Clean area, pleasant service, and price point is just right, considering the generous portions, handmade tortillas, and made-from-scratch(not powder mix) agua frescas. Seems like they have more items available at this location, so there's definitely something for everyone. We shared a Gringa de Al Pastor and a Huarache de Asada which were both delicious, and the Agua de Jamaica was a perfect compliment to our meal. Stop in if you're ever in the area...casual setting, great grab and go option, and won't leave you with buyer's remorse. ALOHA!!! Shaka Meter: \uuu/ \uuu/ \uuu/ \uuu/ \uuu/ 5

Today was in the mood for tacos. But who isn't in the mood for tacos. Ive seen this restaurant a few times and knew it was time to try it. It is located in a petrol station but don't let that fool you. I ordered carne asada, pastor, birria, frijoles, and arroz, horchata, and pepino. The food did not disappoint at all. The birria and pastor had such a wonderful flavor. My fav drink pepino was amazing. There are a couple of tables and chairs, plus a television. One thing I really liked was the condiment bar was enclosed. It wasn't exposed how most are. This has an open and close lid that keeps everything very cold. Location is Jones/ Vegas- ample parking

The quesabirria tacos were awesome, crispy and stuffed full of cheese and birria. The huarache with carne asada was also really good. It's in a gas station but it's very clean and I had no problem getting a table for a Wednesday lunch. Food came out quickly and was piping hot.

Three quesabirria tacos (birria + cheese) and a side of consomé was included. Soooooo good!!

Literal hole in the wall (in a gas station) and the food was SO MUCH better than other specialty birria places. DEFINITELY coming back. Their tacos and salsa had so much flavor and were really filling. Oh and they don't use cloves (clavos de olor) in their birria - which to me is great because other places use a ton of cloves and it ruins the birria for me. Soooooo worth it! And the staff was helpful and really nice.

I was SUPER skeptical coming to this spot since I found out it was in a gas station but to be completely honest, it was cleaner than a Roberto's on a good night. It was amazingly good! I got a cheese quesadilla with a side of rice & beans and I was surprised by how fresh the rice was. It wasn't bland, hard, or even too mushy; It was perfect. My boyfriend got carne asada tacos and they were delicious as well. The tortillas are hand made and you can taste the freshness! They have a little refrigerated stand that contains red & green salsa, limes, cucumbers, guacamole, and radishes. You can feel the coldness radiating off of the cooler so you have no doubt the product is fresh and within safety guidelines. One thing I also really liked was the fact that they offer different types of Agua Frescas, unlike Roberto's. I tried the watermelon and the cucumber one and I liked the cucumber one better. Im giving this spot 5 stars because they had A lot of room for failure; location, cleanliness, customer service, quality of food, and price range. Each one was completely fulfilled and surpassed! I would DEFINITELY recommend this place over any other taco shop. Please try it out and don't judge a book by its cover! It was amazing!!

Hands down one of my favorite and most affordable taco spots!…read more It's located next to a busy plaza so parking can be quite difficult They're open daily 10am-2pm. Definitely recommend going when they first open because otherwise it doesn't matter the time or day of the week, the lines are extremely long! Love how spacious the restaurant and how organized it is! Once inside the restaurant, there are several lines and you just line up according to which meat and item you want. The longest lines are definitely the asada and adobada (pork)! Once you reach the front of the line, you just tell the staff which and how many of the item you want, as well as any customizations to it. After you get your order, you just head to the cashier line and paying is so easy and convenient! Pricing is reasonable. - Tacos, tostadas, taco aztecas - $4.12 - Sopes, quesadillas, vampiras, & mulas - $7.54. - fries with meat - $22.18+ - soft drinks - $3.31 Arrived at 11am on Sunday and it was already super crowded. Stood in the asada line for at least half an hour but the wait was so worth it! Got 3 Asada Tacos and the tortilla was so soft, hot, and fresh. It was stuffed with plenty of tender beef! The beef was packed with flavor and marinated so well! The pico de gallo was so delicious, as well as the salsa and guac. The Horchata was ok and nothing special since it wasn't made from scratch like the phenomenal tacos! Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and my food. Definitely would recommend and return!

The first thing I noticed was just how packed the entire Venetian area was that night! Apparently No Doubt was in town performing at Sphere, and since the Venetian parking garage is basically right next door, the whole resort had a ton of energy and nonstop foot traffic. It was definitely busy! CHICA had a really fun atmosphere. The restaurant itself feels stylish and upscale without being overly formal. The décor had this vibrant inspired energy with music, lighting, and a social vibe that works really well for group dinners or events! Since it was catered for the event, I only tried a selection of tapas, but everything I had was really good! All of the food was flavorful, well presented, and easy to share while mingling! I really enjoyed the experience! Between the Vegas energy from the Sphere crowd, the lively atmosphere inside CHICA, and the solid food, it ended up being a really fun evening during the conference trip! Definitely somewhere I'd consider coming back to for a full dinner next time I'm on the Strip.

SO GOOD! Favorite spot of the day , hands down. What a great way to end our day trip to Vegas!…read more We started with two appetizers which were more on an amuse bouche. Small in size but packed with flavor. The Himachi? We could've eaten ten of them. Deeeelicious. The main course came out while I stepped away for a few minutes so I missed the fire show, but got to see it when another table got it later. The taste of the beef was absolutely amazing and loved the accrucements that accompanied it as well. We ended our meal with an almost missed Tres Leches. (Silly me didn't ask for the dessert menu, almost had grounds for being left in Las Vegas!). I'm so glad we circled back and got it, cause it was fan freakin tastic Service also was amazing - our server was so patient and kind

Between the music, crowd, and fire performances, it really feels like a full experience and not just dinner. I will say, when we first arrived the front dining room surrounded by candles was VERY warm. I asked if they could lower the AC because while I totally understand the ambiance they're going for, once everyone starts eating and drinking it gets hot fast. They were very accommodating and did lower it a bit, which we appreciated. I also loved that they start you off with pico de gallo and chips for the table, and when we asked for more they happily brought extra. Such a small thing but it made the experience feel really welcoming and generous. For food, we ordered the truffle quesadilla, street corn, and the Chicken Parm Mexicana. The truffle quesadilla was SO good and packed with flavor from the mushrooms, truffle oil, and cheese. The street corn was delicious too, and the Chicken Parm Mexicana was such a fun twist on a classic. Crispy chicken, flavorful sauce, and perfectly melted Chihuahua cheese. For drinks, I had the Toca Margarita and loved it. Super fresh and well balanced. Service was great throughout the night and the atmosphere made it such a fun place for our group dinner before the No Doubt concert at the Sphere. Would absolutely come back on another Vegas trip!!
