This has been one of our favorite places to go for a dinner craving, and we always enjoy the fresh salsas and chips as well as the rest of the flavorful food they have. The service is always fast and efficient and such kind workers who make you feel welcome from the time you are buying as well as the people servicing the tables are always great. Ambiance is always uplifting and gives that warm and welcoming feeling like they are glad to have you in. The only reason it falls short and we are unable to give 5 stars, is because 2 things have changed, firstly we were very disappointed when this recent visit, the food is now served in paper plates for a sit down restaurant making it feel like we not at a sit down dinner but rather that a food truck, secondly, the meat serving on the nacho fries felt like it had been cut down majorly, felt loaded with everything but hardly any meat compared to before and these were two things we noticed today which made us feel a little disappointed compared to the previous visits, don't get me wrong, flavors were still great and service was great just hope they can address those little things. read more

Dined-2.19.26: First time here. I had the Traditional Taco Plate (adobado) which includes four tacos on double corn tortillas so you can kinda double the amount of tacos. The have a salsa bar w/ various veggies and salsas to add to your meal. They do offer chips as part of the salsa bar. I prefer more authentic Mexican food spots vs franchises but it was a solid option for the convenience (and my friend picked the place). read more

Was a fun place and the food and atmosphere were great! They had dance music playing with the dj and music videos playing on their screens, and it felt like a Taco Party ! Taco Fiesta! Lol. I like how they have you grab your own chips, a big dispenser between the 2 soda machines. They also have a nice selection of sauces and toppings at a mini bar near the back of the restaurant, where the drinks & chips are. The food had great flavor and cost not too high, was a little over $30 for my wife and I. My wife's baked potato size was large and flavorful, not small and dry like a Wendy's baked potato. My charro beans were good too and our tacos were very flavorful. I had sirloin and adabo chicken in flour tortillas. Oh boy! I was so excited to try this place at the recommendation of others. I specifically asked for corn tortillas for a sirloin and chicken taco. Because it was to go, I didn't bother to check until in the light, two flour tortillas. I told the man who took my order that this was an allergy. I was super disappointed with the chips as they were ladened with oil. I attempted to salvage the meat, but because the meats were hot (that's a good thing) the meats were already contaminated by the tortillas. The meat was dried out as I suspected because it was 30 minutes to closing, they were more concerned with clearing folk out. The restaraunt was clean. But the salsa bar was missing several sauces. This was my first time trying this place here in the valley. I walked in and it wasn't really busy. I stood at the counter waiting for someone to take my order, meanwhile an employee was standing in the corner on his phone, seemed like he was trying to hide but he was in plain view. The place was so dirty, with tables not cleaned and the floor was pretty bad too. & they have chips out in the open on this container for people to grab, which is good who doesn't love chips, but they're not monitored, a customer was getting some and coughing all over the place & on the salas too. I love Taco Tote! The food is delicious. This place is around 30 minute drive from me but whenever I'm on this side of town I always stop. The place has lots of seating and it's always clean. They have a super well stocked salsa bar with variety of salsas to choose from. They also have unlimited chips to go with your food. The best thing for are the hand made tortillas. You can see them being made right in front of going. I always get the tacos and they are always amazing. If you get the package/combo deal you get to choose from a variety of meats and sides. I always get sirloin and for the sides rice with refried beans. I haven't had a bad experience with the food is always amazing! I've come here random days and times and it is always busy (good thing!) Also the service is amazing. I've always had the manager come up to us and ask if everything is good and at times he even gets us refills or gets us napkins, whatever we need. This was my second time trying taco tote and let me tell you the food is so tasty. The workers are always kind. I saw 2 managers that were extremely involved one was in the kitchen other was bringing food out! I love to see that. All the extra sauces, cilantro , onion , chips you get in your own but makes it better because you can get as much as you want in the little disposable trays they provide you. The salsa is good and the spicy ones even better! Don't worry if you don't like spicy they have salsa for you too (: my favorite is their taco packet, and also the quesadilla! Not sure what cheese they use but its amazing ! Lol definitely my fav. There is agua frescas but you have to show up earlier. On tacos...?!" I've never had "street tacos" with cheese on them before. So, it was quite the surprise. But, nonetheless, they were good! The only reason I'm giving them a 3 stars is because the tacos were extremely greasy. Greasy like leaking from the tacos, dripping from my hands & fingers, and needing about 10 napkins to clean up after myself. Idk about y'all, but the way my body works, greasy food does not do right by my body. Went to eat at this establishment with our service dog, dog was vested but we did not have his card. The person taking orders refused us because we didn't have his card. For this establishment I am providing you with the ADA guidelines for service dogs: "Staff cannot ask about the person's disability, require medical documentation, require a special identification card or training documentation for the dog, or ask that the dog demonstrate its ability to perform the work or task". Normally if an establishment has an issue with our service dog we'll just leave but your employee was snotty and condescending. Your employee was out of line and in violation of ADA guidelines. I suggest training for your staff before you end up in court. read more

I ordered two Carne Asada tacos. I wouldn't recommend them. There was lots of chewy pieces (hard pieces of fat, tendon, etc). It wasn't soft fat either. It made it hard to eat the tacos and enjoy them. The salad bar was good. Plenty of salsa options. The interior was clean. The service was good, but at the end of the day, I would go down the street to Ta Carbon or elsewhere. read more

I ordered 3 combo plates that come with a drink and when I walked away the host (listed as TIRSO on the receipt) forgot to give us the cups. When I asked my boyfriend to go back and ask for them the same host argued with my bf saying that he gave them to me. Now, anyone with common sense would know that if he did in fact give those cups to me, then I wouldn't be asking for cups. WHY would I want more? So my bf and him had some back and forth and he finally gave us the cups. Then he proceeds to walk over where we are and checks if we had the other cups. I didn't realize cups there are so scarce. On top of that, he got our order incorrect. I really liked this place but after that interaction I'll take my business elsewhere. We ordered the dinner taco set, where we built our own tacos which was more like a burritos. Their salsa bar was the best I've ever seen. They actually had pico de gallo not just watery salsa, pickled purple onion, jalapeño, cucumbers, and literally anything that would make your tacos exquisite. We loved the quesadilla and the nacho fries. We wished there were more fries and less nachos. They also have endless chips for your pico or guacamole. The food here is SOOOOOOO good! I went last week on Thursday and the special was 3 tacos; I chose carne asada. Everything was really fresh and, even though they didn't have their salsa bar in use, I was able to get the pickled onions and dark red salsa that I like. Super spicy and delicious! My husband and I went here for the first time today and was disappointed. We drive by this place daily and always wanted to try it. My husband ordered the chili rellano plate and was not happy. The rice was all dried out and had no flavor. He said the beans tasted like they came out of a can. The chili rellano itself was good. I ordered the two taco plate with potato and my two tacos were chicken and barbacoa. There wasn't a lot of substance to either taco. The chicken was good however the barbacoa looked terrible in the tortilla. It actually looked like a cow patty but tasted good. The best part of this whole place was the salsa bar. The guacamole salsa is outstanding and I poured it on everything even my potato. The hand made tortillas were absolutely delicious and combined with the guacamole salsa was yummy.
