Upon entry you immediately come up to the order counter and menu boards. We were greeting promptly by a friendly face. We ordered nachos, a burrito, and two tacos. All of the food was excellent. I realize food costs are rising everywhere, but this is ridiculous. 3 enchilada plates and a gauc, plus tip, was $100. The nights that the manager is not there are obvious on the food quality. Cold rice and beans was met with the new server touching the bowl and stating it was warm. The bowl was, the food in it was not. The ladies who have been there for years are great, margaritas are good, it's just not worth the prices even when the food is on point.

The food was what you would expect from an Americanized Mexican restaurant. Decent size portions that were fair to the menu pricing. Everything was prepared well and tasted fresh. I very much enjoyed the salsa that came out right away. It actually had a decent amount of heat to it. By far some of the better salsa I've had at a Mexican restaurant. We also ordered margaritas and they were excellent. Be warned, the skinny margarita is a whopping $6 more than the standard house marg making it $16! Not sure why but it is and you've been warned. The service is usually great and fast. And the food hot and fresh and just makes you smile. We go here regularly and I love the enchiladas de mole on a cold night! The beans were creamy with a nice amount of cheese mixed in, and the rice was full of flavor--you could taste the chicken bouillon, tomato, and spices in every bite.
