Upon entering, I notified that every table had a QR code to scan the menu. This restaurant was self served on which you just order on the tablet and you go and pick it up in the front. On the tablet it ask you for a tip on which it was optional. The food took about 10 mins which was not that bad. My family has ate this restaurant before and last time it was a little salty the fried rice. I asked for the fried rice not to be salty and the rice was still a bit salty. We ordered shrimp fried rice. We also ordered the dragon roll which was very good. I didn't like that you have to pay for water. If you want a cup of water you have to buy a bottle of water which is $3. They offer desserts but I didn't try it. They have limited parking in the front but you can go on the top area to park. Overall the experience was ok nothing out of this world.

Not a bad spot if you're craving sushi but don't want to spend a bunch. It's been fresh every time I've ordered, and it's great to go. Service is fine - you basically order yourself and the only people there are the cooks. I've come here a few times and will keep returning.

Decided to come and try this place out after hearing that they have sushi for $10 and under. When we got there however, the place wasn't the same place that we had saw online. The map had said "Soya Sushi Bar (El Sushi)" so we thought it was the same place, however it turns out that El Sushi was on the complete opposite side of the plaza. When we finally arrived at the correct location, we walked in, sat down, scanned the QR code and looked through the menu. After making our decision we went up to the kiosk and placed our order. We ordered: - Dynamite Salad - Alaska Roll - Spicy Tuna Roll - Tiger Roll - Dragon Roll - Dynamite Roll I understand that we had a big order, but 20 minutes for express sushi seems like a long time. When they called us up to get our order, they were also missing a roll. We had also ordered a drink and a Matcha Cheesecake separately and we waited about 20 minutes for that as well. When we went up to ask about the drink they looked confused and had to looked through their system to find our order. - The Dynamite Salad was good and seasoned well. - The Alaska Roll was seasoned good as well, however they didn't put enough salmon on top to cover all the sushi. I had two pieces that were missing the salmon. - The Spicy Tuna Roll was under-seasoned and tuna looked very dull like it was sitting there for a while. - The Tiger Roll was nice and warm, however all the sauce made the sushi a bit soggy and not as crispy as the tempura should've been. - The Dragon Roll was seasoned well but had too much sauce per piece. - The Dynamite Roll was good and well seasoned. - The Matcha Cheesecake was good but didn't have a strong matcha taste. When we finished eating our sushi we tossed out our trash and began taking out the cheesecake. Before we got to finish eating it, an employee came up to us with a card asking us to leave them a review. We said that we would when we finished eating, but they just stood there and kept saying "Review?" Overall, the food was good for the price since you can get 2 rolls for the price of 1 at any other place. The service is slow and they push a lot on making a review.

This place is awesome. Come here for lunch with friends. Inside is bocce and clean. You can order from a screen or there is a kind server there to take your order. The sushi's was good and fresh. I had the jalapeño roll and gyzas. Overall great food.

You want sushi with fast service , clean ambiance and delicious food? Come to el sushi. Hands down way better than going to Publix and getting sushi rolls. They have amazing deals. Miso soup was like 3 bucks. My favorite when I'm under the weather . I would definitely recommend if you're in the Doral area to check it out!

Came to el sushi for some yummy sushi and I have to say I'd come here again for a quick cheap sushi pickup. It's good for what the price is but it's not all that. We really did love the dragon roll overall and the nigi roll was super super fresh. The edamame was good both salted and truffled. Another appetizer we got was the gyozas but it was watery. The ambiance was very calm but it was definitely packed. The service was pretty quick for all the things we ordered, can't complain about that!

This review is for El Sushi 2 at 9901 NW 41st Street I believe they just recently opened this location per their instagram feed. I would love to give this location 4 stars but I averaged my experience on Food Service and Ambiance and it averaged at 3.5 stars but that is not an option. Would be willing to visit again to see if they do anything with the constructive criticism received in their reviews. I must say that their parent restaurant Soya never disappoints so I had high hopes for this express option. The location itself has a great aesthetic.. nice decor, clean and smells great! Could perhaps use some lively music to go with the vibe! The service in the dining area is very friendly, seeing as this is an express type location they can benefit from the use a speaker system to call out orders when they are ready as the cell service in there isn't great or perhaps they they can provide WiFi so that your texts can come in and you don't have to sit there and wait and instead can wait comfortably at your table. Now on to the ordering their board shows a combo option but you don't see that option on the ordering kiosk so it's a bit misleading as I certainly would have ordered the combo if it was going to save me a couple of bucks. We spent total of $51 (without tax and tip) for 3 rolls, 1 gyoza, 1 dynamite salad, a side of ginger a side of wasabi and 2 waters. Didn't seem as cheap as advertised Quality of the rolls was good, I always love the gyoza at the restaurant seems to be a little over steamed at this location perhaps since they close them in a container right away or maybe they are pre steamed. One thing I would recommend they change is that they should include a small amount of wasabi and ginger with the rolls as do all other places and if they are going to charge 50 cents for "extra" ginger or wasabi the container should be filled with ginger not charge 50 cents for the amount that should have been included in the first place. With all of this said I will try them again and hope some of these things are remedied, as Soya is one of my go to Sushi places and I'd like to see them succeed with this express venture.

I wanted to try this Sushi place because this place has a great price on sushi and fried rice. Before you walk in you can scan the barcode on the window of the restaurant or you can place your order with the two tablets. The menu tablets are easy to use but I like to order with a person instead. I chose the Dragon roll and it was soo delicious and it was only $10. That was the only cooked roll that I was interested in and it was so yummy. I also chose the shrimp fried rice and it was good but a bit salty. I would recommend to ask for the fried rice without salt. The fried rice was $7 and it comes in a shareable portion. I got confused with what they call shrimp which is known as prawn. As for drinks there isn't many options and I found the bottle water over priced. I recommend for you to bring your own bottled water because they don't have free water available. I found the restaurant clean and pretty inside. The parking is free and it is near the restaurant.

The ambiance of the place was very nice. The service itself was pretty good as well. The food honestly caught me by surprise, wasn't expecting much for some cheap sushi but man was it good. The rolls were very good and even better than some restauarants. The fried rice was good but wasn't worth the money for the portion. You can ask for as much spicy mayo and eel sauce as you want which is a huge plus! Highly recommend.

Horrible experience! I get an hour lunch and that was still not enough time for a restaurant that claims to be "express". There is absolutely no customer service. Nobody greets you when you enter and orders are made through a machine. I ordered a mixed fried rice, gyoza, and miso soup. The fried rice was stale and the miso soup tasted like dirty sink water. You'd think that for something that tasted like it had been sitting out for an extended period of time that I would at least get my food quickly...wrong! I waited a good 45 minutes to get my food! I asked a lady in glasses what the wait time for my food was going to be as I had to get back to work and she seemed bothered and didn't care to respond. I had to ask another employee. Truly the worst! I will definitely NOT be returning.

Damn near ordered the whole menu! Good selection, every roll is 10 dollars. The fried rice was a bit stale for me, and lacked gusto. I would like to see more sushi options, and rice a bit more fresh but all in all cute little venue, friendly service and nice if in the mood for something quick. The friend chicken roll and JB roll were spot on!!!

This spot is located in an unassuming shopping center where a Nicklaus building is, which is perfect for when you're in the mood to keep a low profile. It's a small, intimate restaurant with counter top seating and a few tables. From the moment we walked in, the folks chopped it up with us and made jokes, which is great because it broke the ice in a way that felt like you were amongst friends. Excellent service all around. We sat at one of the tables as we intended to do a lot of talking and didn't want to be noisy at the counter. We decided to take the recommendation of the staff and did the omakase express option and a sake sampler pairing with three different kinds. No notes here because everything was great, there were several "MMMM!" moments (wish I remembered what each bite was!) and the first sake we got (pictured) was fantastic. Would definitely buy it to have at home. Big shout out to Allie, who covered our table on her first day, was very cool and definitely helped steer the dinner in the right direction. If you're in the Doral area and in the mood for some quality Japanese, definitely stop by here!

It's wonderful because their entire digital menu has pictures which I appreciate SO much! We ordered the sampler for 2 (sushi pizza and croquettes), the 101 roll and the volcano roll. So, even though we ordered the sampler for 2, they brought us the sampler for 4 (which is $56). Because they already brought it to our table, we didnt want to waste anything and chose not to correct them. I'm not entirely sure how they got this wrong. However, everything was delicious. I was leery about the Asian crunch, but the walnuts added a nice mild earthy flavor to the tender salmon. The coquitos were very unique. I've never had fish and curry mustard before. The sushi pizza was fresh and crispy and the croquettes were tasty. While I won't complain about the flavors because everything was delicious, I will complain about the price point we didnt intend on spending. The 101 roll was unlike anything we've had before. A wonderful option for someone who doesnt want to go too heavy on carbs. I dont know how a plantain pairs with salmon and tempura shrimp, but it just works. A little salty, a little sweet, and a decent sized roll. The volcano roll is quite the attention grabber! Piled high with krab salad it turns a basic volcano roll into an extraordinary one. The Kani is fried which doesn't usually happen with volcano rolls and avocado is added to the top. Its a great twist on a classic and the textures are wonderful. Unfortunately, no one came to check on us during the duration of this meal, so it's a good thing we didn't need anything else. For an app, two rolls and 2 cans of diet coke, the total came to over $100. The price point is the only thing keeping me from giving this establishment 5 stars. I would give it 4.5 if Yelp allowed me because the quality is great as are the portion sizes. I'll definitely come back to try other options and probably do a better job of speaking up next time if my order is wrong.

I highly recommend making a reservation, as wait times can get long. Before coming, I did a bit of research and found a link to make a reservation (I couldn't find a direct link on their page, so I had to look it up online). When we arrived, we were greeted by the hostess, who asked for our reservation confirmation. Once confirmed, we only waited about five minutes for our table. Our server, Hani, was really nice and attentive throughout the night. Starting with drinks, they offer 2-for-1 specials. Hani recommended the passionfruit margarita with a Tajín rim, which I decided to try, while my friend opted for the coconut margarita. I have to say, I loved my drink It was flavorful, and you could really taste the passionfruit. I also tried the coconut margarita, it was okay, but the coconut flavor wasn't as strong. I might try the coconut mojito next time. My friends agreed that the passionfruit margarita was the best. I also asked for more drink recommendations, and Hani suggested the guanábana (soursop) madness, which includes coconut rum, rum, guanábana purée, and pineapple. For some reason, I expected it to look like a piña colada but it came as a cute drink with a red purée on top that tasted more like strawberry. I wasn't entirely sure what it was, but it was good! It wasn't very strong (maybe it could use a bit more rum), but I'd still order it again. If you like guanábana, I'd say go for it. Lastly, I tried the tamarind margarita with a Tajín rim, also really good. If you're not in the mood for cocktails, they also have $2 glasses of wine and prosecco, which is a great deal. For food, we started with steamed gyoza, fried shumai, and sushi pizza. I have no complaints, everything was delicious We ended up ordering another round of gyoza (this time fried) and shumai, that's how much we liked them. For rolls, we tried the Doral roll, which has shrimp tempura, krab salad, avocado, and cream cheese, topped with salmon and eel sauce. It was sooo good definitely try it! We wanted to try more, but there's only so much we could eat Even though we shared everything, the portions were filling, especially with drinks included. For dessert, we ordered the Oreo roll. We were debating between that and the fried ice cream, which I low key regret I thought the Oreo roll would be a whole deep fried cookies with ice cream on top, but it turned out to be Oreo crumble wrapped around what seemed like frozen cream cheese and strawberry. I wasn't a fan, the texture wasn't creamy, and it was too frozen, so we had to chew through it. If I could revamp it, I'd keep the whole cookie, deep fry it, add ice cream on top, strawberries, and a drizzle of Nutella, now that would be the I definitely regretted not ordering the fried ice cream or even their brownie The ambiance was good, the usual noise level of a busy restaurant. We sat near the front, so it didn't feel too crowded. It's a great spot for friends or a date night. There's parking in front of the restaurant and nearby since it's in a shopping center. Our server consistently checked on us, and other staff members also came by to clear empty plates and glasses, which we appreciated. Would I come back? OF COURSE I have to try more dishes (and drinks) that I didn't get to this time. A table near us ordered the Coquitos Crunch (I'm assuming it was good because it looked amazing), the volcano roll, and the dynamite salad, all on my list for next time! I'll definitely keep this spot as one of my go-to places for happy hour with my girls
