My dad just went to "El super Market" here in Arleta CA on Van Nuys, and he bought 18 ct eggs and they charge him $16.47 for eggs that are 2 weeks old. Can't believe that some of these companies are willing to gauge people that much. Ralph one of the most expensive markets charges $12.99.

Wow it was my first time coming to this El Super. My friend invited me here to have lunch. Which I wasn't even aware they sold food here. I was surprised with the prices the food was very affordable and tasted great. The red salsa was on point the chicken and rice too. I did not do any grocery shopping so this review is just for the restaurant side of the Super. Will definitely be back for more food lol.

On 8/25/2023 I went to buy some quesadillas, I was beyond grossed out, there was two quesadillas with MOLD & FUZZ growing on them. This is outrageous and disgusting of the employee to put it out in the shelf for customer to buy it. IDK who in their right mind would put these out there.

    Amazing cake taste amazing

Thank you so much to the bakery department they made my son amazing cake on time and very fresh will order again more soon thank you so much!!!

Esta señora Blanca es la peor. She had an attitude for no reason and is awfully rude. If she doesn't like her job she needs to quit & El Super can hire better employees. It's ridiculous.

Great store for all things organic natural and healthy. They also have a great selection of ready-made salads, sandwiches, family, meals, etc to just grab and go. Today I decided to try their create your own sandwich bread sandwich, you know the classic sandwich. You can pretty much get your sandwich for five dollars, but if you add avocado, cheese, bacon, and extra meat it's an additional cost per item. My roast beef sandwich with extra like avocado and cheese came out to $7 You can also make it a combo with a water bottle and small bag of chips for only a dollar more. The sandwich was everything I thought it would be. A good classic sandwich that filled me up. It was a solid meal for under $10 bucks. Ultimately, I'd like to visit this store more often. Parking was super easy and it didn't seem crowded.

I come here probably every other weekend now…read more Parking is easy now that Rite Aid is closed. It's much smaller than a Whole Foods but everything is neatly organized so it's very easy to move around. Place has everything you expect from a grocery but what I come here for are the ready made meals. I think of it as buying from a meal prep place. They have so many options - whether it's just a full meal or just protein or just veggies or just starches. Also sell a family size meal you can toss in the oven. I also appreciate a small sushi section and they have a counter that makes sandwiches. This is also the only place that sells the salted caramel Alden ice cream sandwiches I really like. They have self check out so moves really quickly. Easy to spend like $75 here but it's all worth it.

I will say their produce is lacking (in my opinion) but for packaged goods and basic meats, it really is a great option. Don't sleep on it. The interior is really a no thrills kind of place. You're not really coming here for the decor though. I also find the checkout process an area that could be improved upon. Often times it gets backed up with the checkout people just wanting to get you through there without any concern for the previous customer who, more often than not, is still trying to get their items bagged up. But once again, you're coming here for good prices. You need to understand that there are going to be 'sacrifices' in other areas.

Inside the store is very clean and the shelves always stocked with everything I need. I feel like the customers here are friendlier than at other stores, people don't seem rushed and they actually smile and move their carts if they think they're blocking you from something in the aisle. I do feel though that frequently the lines are long and it's a little limited on how many they have checking people out. Allot of the cocktail cabinets are locked now, so when you want to purchase something for a cocktail you have to push a button and wait for one of the limited employees to be able to come to help. However other things like Beer are not locked. I don't remember seeing anything else locked in this store. Food 4 less shares the lot with some restaurants on the other side and a gas station, be careful when leaving the lot as the traffic on parthenia is always zooming by and it's sometimes hard to get out of the lot.

I like this location because it is modern of course because it is new, but it is pretty big and spacious and the Customer Service is amazing. I encountered many employees that were very nice and literally walked over to the aisles with me to show me what I was looking for. You can never go wrong with Trader Joe's prices and healthy options that they do have. This is now my new favorite Trader Joe's to go to, I am so happy that this open in Northridge. Everything was fully stocked and easy to find. However, the only thing that was bad was that the restroom was very dirty, but I did tell one of the employees about that situation and they said they were gonna handle it. Otherwise, the customer service was phenomenal and they were fully stocked with everything that I didn't need with amazing deals. -Marshay D.

This location used to be China Buffet, one of my favorites growing up and got me through my days at CSUN. I have a fond attachment to this location because of it, and I will surely miss it. At least something great took its place; however, I don't know if I can ever get past seeing my old favorite buffet as a Trader Joe's. I am heartbroken but glad CSUN has a Trader Joe's now.
