Gold curly hair
Albert V.

First time we tried this we had a bad experience with the food being over cooked. The second time we ordered a simple Flautas meal and they gave us the incorrect items. Finally we tried to give this place a third chance not thinking anything and three of our meals had hairs. We try and not let on time ruin a good experience and forever tarnish the reputation and we never leave a bad review unless its this bad. Well today did it for us... one looks like a dog hair for sure and the other is a brown gold curly hair. We hope places like this take action and do better for the community because the food looks good but issues like this need to be addressed.

Best Chicken Taco Salad I've ever had! I love the whole beans & shredded chicken. I get Ranch for my dressing! Very yummy!

Very tasty and reasonably priced. The sauces are a "must try." Ordered as take out and I was extremely satisfied.

Excellent southwestern flavor and heat! Take it away and eat at your leisure, also great for catering.

Recently moved back to Las Cruces. Was a long time patron of the mother restaurant. Express is every good as Patio.

Good food. Great service. Take out not dine in. But they are fast and friendly. Best salsa in town.

Family loved the food! Curbside pickup was quick and the order was accurate. Some of the best Mexican food we've ever tasted!

Lady working the phone had a nasty attitude. Who trains these people in customer service?

The historic restaurant really shines where it counts -- fantastic food, reasonable prices, and excellent service. The host was warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in for lunch, and our server offered great suggestions from the menu -- which features a wide variety of Mexican, New Mexican, and breakfast fare. I decided to get the Sopaipilla Compuesta ($15), a pair of sopaipillas topped with red and green chile. It was packed with authentic, rich flavor and made for an incredibly delicious and filling dish. My dining companion enjoyed the Veggie Omelette ($14), which was equally well-prepared, fresh, and portioned generously. If you are looking for authentic homestyle New Mexican cooking steeped in local history, La Nueva Casita Cafe is an absolute must-visit in Las Cruces!
