i had high hopes because this place had good reviews and very friendly staff! i got swiped on the passenger side , the entire side My car did not have scratches when i got it and it was returned with multiple scratches. they even drove my car for 10 miles left my car with 44 miles returned with 33. we called the date that was given to us , the car wasn't even ready or painted , we then called the second date and car was ready but NOT painted , they painted it within 3 days ? and said it was ready , this worked seem very rushed even if they had my car for almost 4 weeks ! we were told it would be ready in 2 weeks. read more

I went in to get this dent checked out. I thought the panel on my car had become bent. I spoke with John, who within 30 seconds, told me that my bumper was the issue and snapped it back into place in seconds. I was very surprised with how easy the fix was. I took my vehicle in to this state farm approved body shop for damage to my rear bumper on my 2018 Nissan Leaf. Recived a initial quote for $1200, at the end the final price was $4500 charged to my insurance. Found out after the fact that the shop charged state farm for parts never Installed on my vehicle and parts that their staff broke in the process of repairs ( I send photo proof to the state farm fraud department) Took the vehicle back for correcive repairs, it was better but not right. I pointed out the paint miss match when I picked it up. The service write said it's just the light, it's perfect. He also stated he repaired the rusting brakets under the bumper skin when infact it was still actively rusting. I smashed my front fender trying to park too close to a trash can (it's amazing how heavy those suckers are when they are full!) It caused a significant amount of damage to my front fender to the extent that I couldn't even open my passenger door! I took the car in to get several estimates at body shops around the city and ended up taking it to John based on his high reviews on Yelp. John is very attentive. He took photos of the damage and went through with me all of the details of what they need to take apart and put back together again. He emailed a copy of the estimate to me, which was very reasonable, and slightly less than all of my other estimates. The car was completely fixed in a week, and the payment due was exactly what was stated on the estimate -- no surprises, and no up charges. The new paint is absolutely perfect and there is absolutely no signs of damage. The driver's seat window fell inside the door so I called these guys up since I couldn't find help through AAA or Safelite. The gentleman I spoke with (I believe he's the owner) charged me for just one hour of labor ($172). Not only did they fix the window and install the new regulator, but they went above and beyond by fixing other things I didn't even ask for. There was a large dent from a previous car accident that they fixed, in addition to working on my drivers door handle so it would open properly again. Overall this body shop did the job right. I have a 911 that was door dinged with a chip - so no paintless dent removal can do the job. These guys took out the dent and repainted the area in a few business days. They ubered me back and forth to get my car when done and the car was washed and ready. I found this place because of Yelp. I had someone back into my car while we were exiting a shopping plaza. Luckily the damage wasn't too bad, all that needed to be replaced was the bumper. The guy who backed into me paid for everything. I went with El Segundo Auto body because they took the time to answer any questions I had, and told me about what kind of paint they use; I was able to inspect other cars there to see their quality of work. It looked nice. I had just come to El Segundo Auto Body after leaving another body shop nearby. I asked the other body shop how long it would take to replace the bumper in the car and they estimated that it would take a couple days. I asked them what a couple days were and they said a couple days were a couple days. So, I asked them is that two days? Three days? Four days? They told me a couple days were two days. Well thanks. Why couldn't they have said that in the first place since couple could mean different things to who you ask. Anyways, back to El Segundo Auto Body. . . I like them because they were pretty good with keeping in contact with me through email. They were able to complete the repairs in the amount of time they told me it would take. The price they quoted to repair the car was pretty good compared to other body shops I've been too, although they were not the cheapest. They were better. The paint job was pretty good in the sun; you couldn't see any spots or paint drippings. And the bumper fit onto the car well, meaning the seams didn't bulge out so you could tell it was replaced. I would come back here. Oh yeah, I also like that this body shop didn't have a bunch of fake reviews. You can tell when a business has lots of fake negative as well as positive reviews. read more

After getting my driver side keyed by a f*cking a$$hole, I decided to get it fixed. It is after all, a brand new car. Didn't want to be reminded of this douche everytime I drive. Yelp to the rescue around my work! This place had nice reviews, including one from Paula B about scratches, so naturally I called for a quote. John was nice enough to inform me about buffing and sanding and said to bring it in. Drove over to the shop off El Segundo Blvd, and had John take a look. There was a few deep gashes he was worried might not come out, but ultimately he said for $75 he'll sand and buff out the scratch in a couple hours. Fast forward. I come to pick up my car a few hours later. The long scratch along the door is gone!!! Woohoo!!! Like impeccably gone. Untraceable gone. The only scratch left was by the gas tank lid, where there's a little reminiscence of the scratch (but not his fault, it was too deep down to the paint). Overall, he did a quick awesome job! Really great service here. I took my BMW in after it received some scratches and denting. John took pictures and laid out the costs. It was better than going to other shops for an estimate where they literally just told me a price and didn't have it down on paper exactly what expense goes to which aspect of the job (parts, labor, etc).
