This is my go to spot whenever i am in this area. Their pupusas and baleadas as their more popular items. I got the baleada this time, which is a flour tortilla filled with refried beans crema and cheese. The beans tasted a little different this time not aure how to explain it but it was still very good to eat. I also got an horchata deink which I didn't enjoy as much as it wasn't sweet enough and still had the powdery taste to it also it felt bery watered down. This place is about 45 minute drive from my house but my wife was in Fairview with her coworker. So my wife and her coworker went for the first time to get take out. When my wife got home she found out they mixed up her order with her coworker. That was only the beginning. We got stuck with all the pupusas de chicharrón which were bland in flavor I will rate them 3 out of 10. Then I tried the mondongo soup which was also bland. The soup tasted like agua de mondongo not sopa de mondongo. I will rate that sopa de mondongo a 2 out of 10. With so many good Salvadoran restaurants in NJ, I would avoid this spot. read more

I just had lunch here with my son, and our waitress Inosensia did an amazing job taking care of us. She went the extra mile by bringing my son some juice, which really made the experience special. I ordered a Parrillada steak I wanted medium. It was well done. It had no salt or seasoning it was just meat. The shrimp looked like they were cut in half. I absolutely love this place. I'm sad to see this is unclaimed on Yelp as of now because the owner should know how great their restaurant is. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious and I crave my breakfast plates with a side of pupusa . The breakfast plate includes scrambled eggs with onions, tomatoes and peppers - cheese- cream and tortillas. Sometimes I do a side of chorizo and I always get my lupus's with frijoles! The only downfall is that they open at 10am on weekdays so I can't get them before work. read more

I love coming restaurant. It seems to be a family business. The location is very strategic . The most common Salvadorian dish is the pupusa and they make them fresh and really flavorful.
