Went here last night. Food was amazing and prices were unbelievable. Service was great and everyone was very well informed. Definitely coming here again. read more

Just had the Friday special of Enchiladas with Carne Guisada for $5.99! SUPER delicious and affordable.

We are regulars there and have never been disappointed. I love the quesadillas and my husband loves the beef caldo. My only wish is that they offered mild salsa for their awesome chips. read more

Very awesome food !!and inexpensive :) my husband and I usually can share a meal and leave with spending less than $20. The food is always fresh and delicious . Highly recommend read more

Still going to "Sabs" as my older son calls it. Service has gotten better. Yay. Staff is still very kind to us. It is definitely one of our regulars. I always bring family from out of town to Sabrasitos. read more

There are probably 30 little taco places near here - THIS ONE IS THE BEST ! A dicerse menu, great prices, and a nice ma and pa atmosphere. Try something different the wait staff will help you. We always bring out of towners here. read more

Our familys favorite go to for mexican. EVERYTHING on the menu is delicious, and the wait staff are friendly. Prices are affordable, the four of us eat for under $30 every time. Love love love this place!!! read more

Food is Good, don't bother calling in your order though because they never answer and if they do it's because you waited 15-20 minutes on hold read more

I love breakfast tacos- seriously, I could eat them everyday. I was surprised to find this gem located not too far from where I live. The tacos are thick- stuffed with all your typical breakfast favorites (eggs, sausage, bacon, chorizo etc.) Here's the kicker though........the prices! Tacos are like $1.19 a piece and they're delish! I don't believe the tortillas are handmade fresh- probably no different from your local HEB brand but the tacos are big and juicy nonetheless and will square away those hunger pangs at an instant! The only knock on this place is the ridiculous drive-thru line every morning. It's like they cant keep up with the demand. But it's still worth it. Cheap delicious tacos jut the way you want them! read more

Great food but not worth the experience if you care anything about customer service. They must have more business than they now how to manage because the need to be right rather than accommodating customers and offering superior customer service is not on their menu. When an order is taken down and/or delivered wrong through no fault of the customer, a business owner with any regard for the customer should immediately make it right whatever that may take in order to maintain loyalty and customer satisfaction; especially when it was a call in order and I had to make TWO trips instead of one. Not the case hear. As a business owner myself, I would NEVER put blame on a customer for what could easily have been the fault of someone taking an order. Will not go back. I can get a breakfast taco at Taco Bell and get better service. read more

Got there around 11:30. Way understaffed. Sat there for 10 minutes and no one even came and said they'd be right back or they'd take my order. Another girl came in when I did and looked around confused as well. Ended up leaving because no one came over to take my order or even to say hello. Gave 2 stars because the specials sounded good and were pretty cheap. Wish I could've had some food. read more

I don't write a lot of reviews, but after reading some of these, I have to put my two cents in. I have been eating here about once a week for about ten years! I have never had a bad meal. The food is incredible, the portions are huge and the price is low. I have friends who travel from across town to eat here! The interior could use a remodel but I highly recommend this place. read more

Been there twice. Everyone deserves a second chance, but the second was worse than the first. Food was lukewarm to cool, and dripping with grease. I read good reviews on yelp about the place, so maybe I just hit it on a couple of bad days. read more

Don't eat inside the restaurant if you want the full experience... the first time we ate there, we dined in... then we started ordering take out and OMG it's amazing. The inside of the restaurant leaves much to be desired, but if you just take out... SOOOO GOOD. SOOOOOOOO GOOD. read more

They messed up my order said I said something when I didn't... why did they try to blame me? No idea and instead of fixing it they wanted me to pay more I asked for a refund and got it but still I'm angry cause I'm hungry and feel disrespected. I ordered a quesadilla was NEVER asked what size I wanted and was given a tiny a** taco with cheese for $5 hahaha no.... Might be good food but do not put words in my mouth and more importantly accommodate the orders you mess up on not sit there and make me pay more for y'alls mistake. Really was disappointed this visit most likely will not return this situation has me fuming poor customer service is something they need to work on. Also I am completely basing this review on the customer service I received. read more

Breakfast tacos are so good here. I like that they have a drive thru when you don't want to get out of the car. Also enjoy the pick up window in the front read more

Worst delivery service! Ordered through Grub Hub and expected delivery between 6:05 and 6:15. Contacted the restaurant at 6:37 when I still hadn't received my food and they told me it should be there in 10 minutes. When I complained, they told me contact Grub Hub?! Person on the line couldn't even understand what I was saying to her. read more

The prices are family-friendly as is the staff. The food is pretty tasty. Love the cheap breakfast burritos and the lemonade. they are usually packed so if you are going to eat in, be patient. They have left the dining room open for my family before which is quite the treat out here at closing time, since Converse really closes. Really affordable, plentiful food that is as good as it gets! read more

Stopped going there due to lack of service. They need caring waitresses and better management. I wrote on my ticket "lousy service" and didn't leave a tip!!! read more

Went to get some breakfast tacos. They are good and all. The only problem is the service. I can't believe it takes that long to make tacos. I called 4 tacos in and and took me five minutes to get there. They were even made, had to wait another 2 minutes. They food is good but service just sucks. Going to look for another place to get breakfast. read more

terrible experience over weekend....my wife and I placed order over weekend on family day out......We placed order with waitress and actually sat at our table for over 15 minutes and had to ask our waitress what happened to our order. Once we asked after 15 minute wait, we were told that they ran out of chicken. We had our one year old who was hungry too. One would think that waitress would have had some common courtesy to ask us if we wanted to change our order so we weren't waiting for order with lack of chicken to fulfill. Horrible experience. Needless to say we would never recommend this restaurant. read more

They were super fast at the drive thru and the tacos were so good. I wasn't expecting them to be so good since I'm a taco snob and think the only good tacos come from the south side. But this place was amazing (: read more

We have been going to El Sabrosito for the four years we have lived here and until today I would have recommended it to anyone. It's been a while since I've visited but the customer service today was atrocious and I will not be back. The tacos have always been great so the lines have always been long. Today there was no line at the drive through...just one truck at the second window to pick up their food. I waited ten minutes at the first window with zero response. When the truck pulled away, after a couple more minutes of no response, I thought they must be working out of window two only. I pulled up to that window to no response. In the meantime another car pulled up to window one and someone immediately took their order. Embarrassed, I pulled back around and got BACK in line. When I finally ordered and was handed my food the employee did not list off everything I had ordered but shut the window. I sat there trying to open the bag to check my order and think through my order and another employee opened the window to check on me. I let her know that the order stated to me was incorrect. The first employee rudely stated that she listed the correct t order and read off the receipt, swearing it was all in the bag...still tied in a knot that I could not get open. When I got home, my order was wrong. It was what she had stated the first time. read more

Great food every time I've eaten there I've enjoyed. Service is excellent and prices are good.

Just started going here for breakfast, I am picky about paying for food, the price should match the quantity and of course regardless of price it should taste good. I can't complain at all, the breakfast tacos are real good and the price is on point so is the quantity. They are super busy in the morning, so be ready to wait in the drive tru, and lobby. Oh and I've only gotten to go breakfast tacos bean-egg-potato $5. read more

I always try to give this place another chance since I live nearby however each time I order carne guisada the beef is so tough! Carne guisada is supposed to be so tender, it just melts in your mouth. Other than that I'm sure everything else is alright. read more

I tried, I tried and I tried again, but I will proceed and concede - this spot is a no for me. On 3 separate occasions within the last 2 months I have visited this restaurant for something simple, bacon and egg (for my coworkers) or potato and egg (for myself) breakfast tacos; simple orders, nothing too fancy. I've tried the drive-thru (an absolute no-no) and I've tried the walk-up (yet another no-no). Service is way too slow ... I have literally been the only person in line in either scenario and it has easily taken 10 minutes to deliver my order after I've paid. Did I mention I go first thing in the morning (around 0700). I've watched numerous people walk around and through the to-go areas, I've watched 2 ladies (at the walk-up area) have a full-blown discussion at the register as I waited 10 minutes for 2 tacos. Service is extremely too slow ... and they make no apology for it. Honestly, the tacos are just "okay" ... nothing special (the bacon and egg tacos are watery and the potato and egg are pretty flavorless). So, having said that, I'm assuming dining in and eating anything other than the breakfast tacos is where they make their money. I have no interest in finding out. I tried. read more

Just love this place. Large portions for soo cheap. Authentic Mexican food. You will leave satisfied, guaranteed!

Food was good, pretty good really. My family of four ate lunch, and had cheese dip and teas for $35. Everything came out looking and tasting great. The staff was nice, and didn't come around all the time to bug us, which we like. We will be back again!! read more

Not really sure if the people that eat here and say its good food really tried good food. This place is below par... I'm thinking the only reason its high scoring is because its the only Mexican restaurant in Converse... Save yourself time and head to Taco Bell. read more

We used to come here often. Recently, I decided to look for another place. It seems that lately their quality of food has gone down. Just last week I ordered a barbacoa taco and it was VERY DRY AND HARD. I think that who ever is in charge of sending out the plates should check for quality and presentation, but then again what the hell do I know I'm just a customer. The other reason is the customer service, I have had problems in the past, but lately, boy oh boy. I don't know about you folks but when I walk into a restaurant, I would like some service. This past Sunday we stopped by to have some breakfast as we do every Sunday after church. When I sat down at a table, the waiter did not acknowledge me and just as I sat down I noticed he was talking to other servers. I must of sat there a bit longer the 5,6 min and still no one came over. I have to get up and find a waitress to serve me. I'm not saying I may never go back, but It wont be as frequent. OH by the way I found a great place. LA COCINA DE ME TIERRA ON WALZEM. Friendly service GREAT food. servers are checking on you often......Check it out.....and alternative to SABROS when you have a bad experience.....My advice to SABROS clean house. read more

Great food.. Best Red hot sauce anywhere in town. Long wait time is the worse part but it's worth waiting for. Thanks for great food!!

Great! Customer service is good! Food is even better, always fresh and hot. Decent sized, alot of seating. Older building but has recently been redecorated, looks nice. Bathroom still needs some work- read more

Food is great, but service is terrible. I have always used their drive thru service so I can't speak for eating inside of the restaurant. Their drive thru is slow to begin with, but today it was horrible with no one there. It took 15 minutes to get 4 tacos of basic breakfast variety because they apparently lost the order. After watching other customers come and go with their orders, I questioned them and it was "gee, sorry about that". I am sorry too. Burn me once and you lose the business, not that you probably care anyway. I have used this restaurant for years for large order business breakfasts during the week, but no more. You disrespect your customers and you lose out. read more

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant. This restaurant has the best and most authentic Mexican food around. And the prices and service are awesome, We have tried just about everything they serve and we have always been pleased. Puffy tacos, quesadillas, crispy tacos - all delicious. Our picky kids even like it. Seems like no matter what time we go it is always packed - that speaks volumes about this restaurant. read more

We have been here a bunch, especially for the breakfast tacos! They made them American style for my husband and I have the chorizo. Today I tried the tacos al pastor and it was pretty good, the meat was nicely spiced and just what I wanted for $6.00. My family and I ate for a twenty including tip which is pretty hard to do lately. Massive sweet teas, homemade chips and salsa and the prices are great. read more

Good food, inexpensive, friendly staff. We've eaten there for breakfast, lunch and dinner and have only good things to say. The kids love the fat boy cheeseburgers and fries. The adults love the Sabrosito deluxe plate. A dozen hot fresh flour tortillas are always a treat. It gets busy! They do take phone orders and have both a walk-up and drive-up window. Quick tip: if the plate you're ordering doesn't say it comes with rice and beans, then it doesn't come with rice and beans. Read the description to be sure you know exactly what you're getting or ask the staff. They are always willing to answer questions and help with recommendations. read more
