Friendly, quick, and delicious! We had the tamale platter, fried roasted artichoke, and the cod tacos. My husband said those were the best artichokes he's ever had, really yummy!

    It's a Truck! A magically delicious Truck.

tldr: THE SOUP This…read moreis a place where a tasting menu would be amazing because I'm sure everything is that good. Before they even bring the menu they bring out 7 moles to taste. Apparently moles aren't all dark chocolate spicy sauces ... ?!?? Loved the education and samples. I'm typically not a mole fan, but they were fun to try. We had the octopus but to me the sauce was too oily. The actual octopus was tender and delicious. Also had the duck skin tacos which were more of a minced duck meat taco and delish. The 5 stars go for impeccable service and the SOUP. This soup is not to be missed. Nothing on paper makes me think it should work but it totally does. It's a big lump of blue crap topped with creamy poblano pepper soup with whipped cream and amaretto and then topped with a spicy kick. Someone said cinnamon but for me it tasted more like hot red chili powder. Sounds incredibly weird but it was the best dish I've had in forever. Waitress was extremely knowledgeable and the chef was very welcoming and present in his cowboy hat! Space was cozy with amazing art. Perfect date night spot but plan to spend a bit of $$$

I was hoping for more based on the menu and reputation…read more The bar was closed for renovations when we arrived and our hope to get a pre-dinner cocktail was not possible. We ended up sitting at the table early and having a drink there instead. We picked a pinto noir from the very extensive and well-composed wine list so it could open up a bit. A tasting of five moles was then brought to the table along with mini tacos to sample and choose which we wanted with our entre. I was partial to the red and New Mexico. As an appetizer I chose the foie gras which was slightly undercooked and had a bit too much berry compote. My entree was the seared duck breast which was also undercooked and difficult to cut. I was hoping for a crispy skin and it was rather soft and chewy. The dessert was good from the couple of spoonfuls I had but I was expecting much more overall.

WOW. Wine here is AWESOMENESS!…read more Yelp friends ... Armando Rosales is the friendliest bartender I've met in a long while He's from Espanola so he's super down to Earth ! (Future manager I think) He let me sample some great wines 1) Signature Canyon Five ~ fruity. Unique 2) Heritage Cabernet Sauvignon ~ AMAZING ! I ordered number 2 to pair with my (incredible) FRENCH ONION SOUP If you have that on your menu I have to try it but this was truly exceptional ! Following that I had the New York Strip. Medium rare. GREAT but I did ask for a side of Green Chile. And Garlic Aioli for the potatoes Nicely cooked but I added some salt and chile to make it pop my taste buds. YES. I would order it again the same way The Pork Chop looked great as well Desert was also very good. Truffles and Port wine ...I love Port wine (Spicy chocolate truffles with lovely RED CHILE in them) I think I'd give these guys 6 stars of if I could because Armando was so cool toward me !

We were walking by Hervé at the time, it felt meant to be. We had been here before a few years back. I remembered they had some solid reds before. We walked into their festive dining area and grabbed a couple spots at the bar. They had plenty of options. We weren't totally sure so the kind bartender let us a try a couple. I'm happy to say they still have some good reds. I've always thought that Lescombes were one of the best New Mexican wines, and they had those. We got their Hervé board as well to nibble on, which was a great assortment of meat cheeses and more. From the bites to the wines to the service, it's one of the best spots to kill an hour downtown.

Why would anyone not give this delightful and friendly restaurant less than 5 stars ??…read more I mean, the food that I ate was incredible. Maybe I just ordered the right stuff. Ok. So Tuna Tartare ~ AWESOME! Emilio was so incredibly helpful in explaining what I was actually eating "So it's served with a black pepper risotto cake with a tuna that is mixed with Dijon mustard placed on top of the risotto cake and drizzled with a warm anchovy butter and a little basil oil! The Hanger Steak entree BLEW ME AWAY ! Emilio said something about red curry or red miso ...whatever it is it's incredible ! balsamic on the asparagus, etc. Super tender, medium rare hanger steak that melts in your mouth and pops with flavor for days And I'll add a picture of this incredibly cute pop tart dessert that Emilio recommended I love it !!

I would give this place 4.5 stars!…read more We came here based on the reviews and the creative menu items. We had the focaccia, which was yummy!! It was a very generous portion. Probably enough for a party of 6 who want to have a little bread with some delicious toppings. We also had the hamachi, which was amazing! And the mixed greens salad was really fresh with a lovely dressing. For entrees we had the dumplings with shrimp added. The dumplings were ok but the rest of the dish was really delicious. I would have taken more bok choy and more chili oil! The burger was also really good (as were the fries). Also very, very big. We did not finish our entrees because they were so generously portioned. We could not (and glad we did not!) forgo dessert so we tried the chocolate tahini tarte. You must have this if you like chocolate!! Laurie, our server, was so wonderful! The ambience is very nice and I loved that the tables are not jam packed in. Try this place! It's worth it!
