Owned by Luz, who hails…read morefrom Mexico City, and with a chef from the Yucatan at the helm, this restaurant delivers a truly authentic and homemade Mexican dining experience. With its warm, inviting atmosphere and Mexican decor, the restaurant instantly makes you feel at home. We were greeted like old friends by Luz herself, setting the stage for a delightful meal. Lured by the enticing "$10 for 4 Tacos" Taco Tuesday deal, we indulged in a variety of tacos and other menu highlights. The journey began with fresh, house-made chips and two flavorful salsas - a vibrant green jalapeño and a smoky red morita. The horchata was a standout, creamy and perfectly balanced, while the tamarind drink offered a refreshing tang. YOU MUST GET THE HORCHATA! One of the best I have tried. Our taco selection included cochinitas, carnitas, asada, al pastor, and tinga de pollo. Each taco was a burst of traditional Mexican flavors, generously filled with juicy, well-seasoned meat and served in small, handheld tortillas - a true taste of Mexico. My favorite was the cochinitas! While opinions varied on the asada's saltiness, the overall consensus was overwhelmingly positive. We also savored the street corn, a delightful combination of mayo, lime, cream, queso fresco, and tajin, and the unforgettable birria tacos, generously loaded with meat and cheese and accompanied by a flavorful, non-greasy consommé.I appreciate it was not oily like many places, I was able to drink it all and no heart burns lol! To conclude our meal, we indulged in perfectly fried churros, choosing both the dulce de leche and chocolate varieties. These delightful treats were not overly sweet and filled with sugar, providing a satisfying end to our dining experience. Taco Real offers a true taste of Mexico in Florida, with its exceptional service, authentic flavors, and inviting ambiance. We can't wait to go back for another Taco Tuesday! Order: Tacos - Cochinita, Asada, Carnitas, Al Pastor and Tinga Street corn with mayo, lime, Tijin, cream and queso fresco Birria Tacos - 3 tacos with consomme onion and ciltrano Churros - Dulce de Leche and Chocolate Drinks - Horchata and Tamarind

There's only about six to eight tables, but they do a great job with their business, or so it seems. There is a study line of takeout orders. And the food is delicious! You can order each taco individually and do as many as possible. My favorite by far was the one with pineapples. I'm a sucker for pineapples on tacos. Definitely a new local spot for us to frequent.

We ordered steak tacos (listed as one of the favorites), quesabirria, spicy margarita and the limonada de mango biche. The drinks were good but the food was okay. The quesabirria was better than the tacos, but the birria sauce just looked and tasted like oily water. The steak tacos are a favorite, but was unfortunately not mine. The steak was chewy and you weren't able to taste the truffle chimichurri. The tacos were also filled with oil. We gave it the benefit of the doubt and thought it may be some sort of sauce but confirmed that it was indeed oil when it started dripping out of the taco. We placed paper napkins on the tray and it absorbed the oil but there was still a lot in the tacos. I didn't notice it at first when I took the picture, but you are able to see the oil in the tacos and the tray...there was a lot! This was our first time at Chilacos and while it may have been a one-off experience, there are other taco places to visit.

It was perfect and they were willing to do whatever needed to be done to keep the us happy. The birria was incredible I just got Chicharron my brain is still processing how good it was. Maybe a little salty, but even though they were super yummy sauces on the table I didn't need to use any of them but I got sidetracked by her need for a key. The ambience was comfortable, casual, well lit and simple. Camilo took great care of us and answered all of our questions. We left completely stuffed and very happy. If I had to Nick pick, I would say that the lack of liquor license deter us from drinking like we wanted to and I wish I didn't have to ask if the margarita was wine based because we almost ordered it and I'm glad we didn't now that I know. Otherwise, we were extremely happy and I will be back often

This location offers Mexican ice cream and I've tried before and it was really good. They have a bunch of flavors. They also offer pasties and cakes for sale. I've never eaten in but just usually call in my order. The place is generally busy and that was the case that evening. This time I decided to get steak nachos and they were decent. I was told my order would take 5-10 minutes but it ended up taking about 25 minutes. They came with guacamole, sour cream, cheese, refried beans, meat of choice, and pico de gallo. The steak was a bit dry and I was told there would be more for the price but it wasn't a mound as described lol. I probably won't get them again but it was worth a try.

I'm sure they could see how excited I was to be there . It felt like what I would imagine walking into a local restaurant in Mexico would feel like. I ordered the chicken burrito which was so delicious ! It came filled with rice , beans, lettuce tomatoes and more. The salsa verde was amazing and paired well with the burrito. I also got the Birria tacos which I must say are the best I've ever had . I won't be going anywhere else for my Birria. The meat was seasoned well and the corn tortillas was fresh and toasted just right. The consume was soooo good !! I highly recommend a visit. I already know what I'll be trying next!
