The wife suggested that we eat at El Rodeo before picking up her van from a nearby repair shop. I hesitated before agreeing to eat here. Upon arrival, we were immediately seated at a socially distant table. We review the menu, which was underneath a glass table top, which is a crafty idea. Glass table tops are easy to sanitize. I ordered Pollo Adobo and a Modelo Negro. My son ordered his usual cheese quesadilla and fries and my wife ordered a chicken burrito. I travel some to go to the one on Lorain rd in North Olmsted because their menu is fantastic and the cooking is even better and of course the ambience is gorgeous. Unlike this one-- it's the same restaurant they don't have one single menu item alike and their prices are out the Yin yang not to mention the food was horrible. I left it all and went to McDonald's. The waiter we had was very kind and fun- speaking Spanish and English for us. My sister got a classic margarita and really enjoyed it. We all got the burrito deluxe which was very tasty and had a large portion size so you definitely don't leave hungry. Their salsa and queso was very good, we couldn't stop eating the chips and salsa. They were kind enough to keep bringing us more chips. Everything on the menu is affordable and priced well. I've been here one other time and had a nice experience. read more

Ek Rodeo is the nearest Mexican restaurant near my house and one of my favorites in the area. I have been here many times and I think it is the right time to write a review. Location : this place is extremely easy to locate on pearl road. parking : there is a lot of private parking space available on campus. Ambiance: the dining area is extremely colorful and looks very lively. I'm a fan of their dining area. Service : service is super quick and the staff are very good. Food : their food is good, both in terms of taste and the portion size. I am fan of their Fajitas and enchilada verdes. Value for money : the prices are extremely competitive and the food is fatally worth the money spent on it. Drinks are reasonably priced too. Today I ordered the vegetarian green enchiladas with cheese on the side. They put the Cheese on the side but did not put the green enchilada sauce. The overall flavor of the dish was good. The Service was fast. The staff was nice he asked if it was my first time. I told him that I was plant based so I wanted to enchiladas minus the cheese sauce. I think maybe he misunderstood that I didn't want the green sauce. The restaurant was clean and they have plenty of hand sanitizer on the counters. Just so so. The salsa has chili powder in it, not a big fan. Had the lobster quesadilla. It was loaded with stuff, but stuff with no flavor. Bland comes to mind. Wife got the spinach enchiladas. Stuffed with stuff, but bland. Had to stand in alone to pay before leaving like I was in a cafeteria. And don't forget, your second basket of chips and salsa will cost ya. read more

Totally disappointed...I ordered a burrito with the rice and beans on the side, my burrito came out with beans and rice in it!! $2 Coronas on Friday! Service has been great the two times I've been here. Very attentive and friendly. As for the food... that's another story. I ordered the Special Dinner which contains: Beef Enchilada - Bland, all beef. The wrap had a funny texture to it. Chicken Tamal - Dry, bland. Bean Chalupa - Decent due to all the toppings on it, but still bland. Cheese Chile Relleno - Surprisingly DELICIOUS. Hard Beef Taco - Bland! Rice - Bland! Fried Beans - Can't really do this wrong. The colors and decorations all around were vibrant and fun. We were started off with salsa + tortillas. The salsa was excellent. It tasted like it was freshly made. The food was great: we had the seafood fajitas (shrimp + tilapia) and the taco/enchilada combo. The fajitas were not sizzling, which was a tiny but disappointing, but the food, especially the shrimp, was delicious. Same with the ground beef taco + enchilada. Both dishes came with rice + retried beans. Service was good. I was tempted deduct a 1/2 star because the service got a little slow after our meals came. There was only one waiter taking care of all the tables. He did apologize, saying the other staffers were running late. Sure enough, 2 waiters showed up towards the end of our meal, so I can't blame our waiter for that. The prices on the menu were reasonable. I'd say it was a good value. Service is not very good. Verrrrry slow to come around to take my order, even though there were only a couple of tables. Got the order wrong (asked for 2 soft tacos, got 1 soft and 1 hard taco). Food is mediocre, not very memorable. Tamale was completely flavorless, except for the corn shell. The salsa was very good. Waited forever to get the check. The decor in the restaurant is bright, colorful and cheerful. I love their salsa and cheese dip. I've had several different dishes at El Rodeo. I really enjoy their fajitas but lately I've been ordering the chicken quesadilla. The prices are great and the food always comes out piping hot. Consider getting dessert. Good, super fast Mexican food. The waiters and waitresses usually smile and are cordial but not overly annoying. My order is normally two tacos (ground beef), rice and chips with queso. It's normally out in five to ten minutes. My meal is reasonably priced at around $12. Without the queso dip it would be under $10. Enjoy! read more

This is our go to work spot. There is plenty of ample seating and they can usually handle our large group. The service is usually pretty quick. Yesterday it was a bit slower and we waited for a while before someone came by to take our order. As soon as the order was in though, they are quick to get it out like most Mexican restaurants. Their lunch fajitas are the way to go and are what I had. It gets you about three soft tacos worth and comes with re-fried beans, rice, and some various toppings like lettuce, sour cream, and a little guac. You can ask for corn tortillas which are generally gluten free. If you're more sensitive to it than I am you might want to verify, but I do remember asking and they said they were. Their margaritas are good, but make sure to specify your size or you might find yourself in trouble. The pours vary every time we are there, sometimes strong, sometimes weak. They also have wifi and we occasionally have worked from there, but if you have to do anything too intense you might want to bring a hot spot with you. Overall it's nothing spectacular, but nothing terrible. It's just good Mexican food for a decent price in the middle of Parma. P.s. You pay at the register, not at the table... I don't know why, we know this, but still always find ourselves sitting there waiting until someone at the table reminds us. #margaritabrain read more

This was flat out disappointing. The salsa is full of cumin and chili powder and is near inedible. The chips tasted like they came out of the bag. I ordered a steak quesadilla fajita... Absolutely horrible there. There was a guy who I assume was the owner as the staff was afraid of him wanted to constantly say the F word and F white people. Mind you I had my family with me.
