I was hungry after shopping and wanted a quick taco before I went home to cook dinner. I chose this place because it had a drive-through and a few five star reviews at a quick glance. I went through the drive-through which took forever. My Kearny Asada taco was a good price $3.18. That's where the positive ended. Two street taco size flour tortillas that look like they had been dipped in grease. The Carne Asada was chewy and not a lot of flavor. The salsa, or pico that they put on there was OK. The green hot sauce was fine as well. All in all very disappointing. I will not be going there again. read more

When my husband and I were looking for a place to eat Mexican food, we were not too sure about this place, however, we decided to try it and we are glad we did. We had camarones a la diabla and they were delicious. The flavor, the texture and the presentation were just perfect. The food portion was generous. First time here they gave me 2 enchiladas instead of the 3 I paid for. Second time here I realize they charge a "to go" fee just for NOT eating there. Their prices higher then sit down restaurants prices and the food was mediocre. They are open late that's why I went there. We rolled through the drive through a little after opening and decided on a breakfast burrito along with chips and salsa. The chorizo burrito was pretty big for the price (~$9). The burrito had a good mix of ingredients, including actual hash browns. This is such a nice touch. A lot of places give you old fries or those weird "breakfast potatoes", but there are no corners cut on their spuds. The chorizo had good flavor, but didn't ooze grease out of the tortilla. Their hot sauces were also complimentary to the flavor of the burrito. The chips and salsa were also very good. Service through the window was friendly enough. They definitely are making the food to order, which is a good sign. We had asked for them to cut the burrito in half for us, which the said they would do. Unfortunately it wasn't when we unwrapped it. This didn't ruin the experience though. I'd definitely be back in the future. read more

Quaint little drive-through packs, a punch I went there and asked about their soups on the menu. The drive-through attendant recommended me to one that is now my favorite! Pazole! The flavors and the comfort from eating is soup are off the charts and there is plenty of meat in this dish! Next time move my way to their seafood and give that a try! This is my favorite late night drive through option. They have a HUGE menu with lots of different options. My husband often gets the taco combo that comes with a drink and while it has increased in price recently it's still very reasonable. I have tried a few different things here they do veggie tacos that are good and you can also do most things they have like enchiladas with cheese! The service is always fairly speedy and they are always super friendly. They also have never gotten my order incorrect and the food has always been tasty. I will continue to stop in here to grab a late night meal. read more

The food here is okay, but there are certainly issues and I'm unlikely to go back. The first time I went, the food was pretty good. I got the asada taco plate, which was pretty good, though the rice and beans were a little cool. I also got a churro, which wasn't good at all. Very dry and didn't taste very fresh. They also didn't include the guacamole and sour cream that I ordered (which was $3.50). The second time I got the same thing, but the food was downright cold. They also didn't include the flan I ordered (about $7). The large cups had issues with their lids and they were very loose, so it was difficult to get the drinks home. The food just isn't worth the price. The markup is huge and comes off as overpriced. So basically, okay but overpriced food with too many issues with service. read more

First time try and definitely worth it. With sign up for the app, you get a free taco. I opted to get the sopitas without tomatoes and horchata. So good! A place worth trying a second time. To repeat other customers' experiences, received one wrong item out of five and the burrito (which was the item packed in place of what was ordered) fell apart. The greater disappointment was that the burrito was relatively low in protein compared to the other fillings, it being a rice, sour cream, and guacamole bomb. I would be curious if skipping the (optional) guac and cream would bring better balance. That all being said, the tacos ordered a la carte were, overall, tasty, coming in a smaller, street taco style topped with a properly proportional amount of onion and cilantro. Taco simplicity at its finest The pollo and adobada were a bit lacking in flavor, but such was nothing some salsa wouldn't fix (with regard to the salsa, there were four options, three of which were good and one hardly memorable). I found the carnitas to have the right amount of salt and crispiness to them, and the carne asada was diced into smaller chunks perfect for the size of the tortillas. The burrito filling was carne asada, as well, and while the preparation and flavor were great for both, the aforementioned issues overshadowed the meat in (and consumption of) the burrito. The menu features items such as proper gorditas (ordered but for which the burrito was given), sopitos, mulitas, and huaraches. I look forward to giving these items a go and triple-checking my receipt next visit. read more
