When we walked in, the server told us not to sit on the right side of the restaurant and to only sit on the left or middle section. It was around 5:40 PM, and they close at 7 PM. I understand wanting to start cleaning and getting things ready before closing, especially if the restaurant isn't busy. But there was still more than an hour before closing, and customers were being packed into one side of the restaurant while the other section had open tables that we weren't allowed to use. Take a look at my picture. One side is packed and cramped while the other side has available seating. If you're still open and serving customers, I think people should be able to sit at an available table, especially when the section you're directing everyone to is already crowded. I could understand doing this closer to closing time or when the restaurant is nearly empty, but at 5:40 on a busy Friday night, it just didn't make much sense. Again, the food and prices are great. My issue with this visit was strictly the customer experience. Good food brings customers through the door, but good service is what makes them want to come back.
