First of all everytime I come home I come to this spot and the older gentleman and lady always are pleasant. Well today this young lady was really rude and above all I was still gathering to pay for my food until she said that because I accused her of being rude that she didn't want to take my order anymore and at that point I did not want to spend my money in there. So with that being said if you're a young African American woman do not order from her. She only give good service to the elderly maybe but Ms. hat and glasses was most definitely rude and now I wanna see her when she gets off. No stars only because I had to give one. read more

Long Post: Today, we went to El Ranchito to order tacos. When Ken Kimble opened his order, there was one taco not three tacos but there was only one taco and the plate looked like someone had finished their food because the sides (lettuce and hot peppers) look disheveled and the napkin was on top of the plate. The food was barely placed on the plate. Called the restaurant to let them know that there was one taco not three soft pork tacos. The conversation went as followed: Cashier: Was the tacos on a small plate or a big plate? Me: Big plate Cashier: I made your tacos ma'am there is no way one taco was on a large white plate. Me: Yes it was. I will be up there in a few minutes, I'm just waiting for my daughter to come out of Angela's Beauty Supply and we will visually look at the plate together to see there is only one taco and not three. Returned to El Ranchito, Ken and I went in to return the plate back to the cashier. The cashier rudely responded, "There is no way there was only one taco. Have a good day. Dismissed Ken and I and proceeded to assist other customers". Me: Do you think that we scoffed down two tacos in that short matter of time? It's okay. I proceeded to call the police. I'm going to call the police and we'll see about this. We'll let the officer make that determination. I called the police and Officer M. Mitchell arrived. He was very professional. Upon arrival, he stated that this was civil manner and that was not much he could do. I explained to him what happened and how I was taken aback about the rude behavior that was shown towards Ken and myself. He said he would talk to the individual. The officer spoke with the cashier. He came out and said that they was not going to reimburse us. It was fine because I told the officer that this was about principle and not about the food or the money. We have been patrons of El Ranchito for almost 30 years. Ken and I have never been treated in such a rude and unprofessional manner. We will never ever patronize El Ranchito ever again. Message to anyone that is an entrepreneur: Customers are the ones that keep your business in operation. Without customers there is no business. I would give them no stars, but it wouldn't display anything lol! I was a loyal repeat customer of this place, loved their tacos. But, recently I made a purchase of 3 pork tacos, and when I opened the plate it only had one taco on there with hardly any meat on it! It even slid off of the plate and into the bag, because it didn't have any foil or paper covering it up. So, I brought the plate back to the cashier/cook/manager etc., and he got pissed and got nasty with me and my wife! I requested a cancel order from my bank and I'm never going back to this place again. They just lost a loyal repeat customer. I wouldn't recommend this place to a dog lol! read more

Bulletproof glass, bars on the windows, serving roulette and English is a second language. You know exactly what this is the food is cheap and delicious. Park on the street I wouldn't recommend parking in the back at night. There are only three small tables which are usually occupied by customers waiting for their orders so take your food to go. read more

I had recently had order a dinner and had found a piece of glass in my re fried beans. I called the man to let him know. He showed no concern and acted like i was trying to run a scam. I told him I was bringing it back. He became very snappy and stated i was the only complaint so he is not worried about. Thank god it was a big enough piece for me to crunch on. I had never had any problems with this place been going for over 5 years. Food is very good. better than the place on route 30. But it has lost a little taste since the big man passed away. The place is so small and the service is horrible ! The girl taking the orders (Mexican) does NOT speak Spanish and talks in such a low voice, you have to keep asking her to repeat herself. After you pay your food, she takes your payment to the back and takes forever to return with your change. I would not come back to this place at all. HORRIBLE little Mexican spot, would NOT recommend it at all. read more
