We ordered two oxtail dinners ($35 each), jerk lamb chops ($36), chicken Alfredo pasta ($28.50), jerk chicken wings ($12.50), a Calypso drink ($3), and a Corona ($5). Our bill came to $190.63, and we were surprised to see a group gratuity added for only two people. The food was a huge disappointment. The oxtails and rice were cold, the macaroni was completely tasteless, the lamb chops were extremely dry, and the jerk chicken wings tasted old. After waiting nearly two hours, this was unacceptable. When we told the manager about the wings, he insisted on remaking them. When we asked about a refund because of the quality of the food, he told us they do not issue refunds. Instead of showing concern about our experience, he also made jokes about how much food I ordered. I felt judged and uncomfortable, which made an already disappointing experience even worse. Between the nearly two-hour wait, cold food that had to be microwaved, poor food quality, the unexpected group gratuity for just two people, and the way our concerns were handled, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had.
