I have to say that this is one of the most clean and organized grocery stores I have ever been in. Every aisle was spotless and organized. Shelves were clean and signs clearly visible. At checkout, the cashier, Marcorian, asked if I found what I needed....I actually ask where a certain item was and he told me where to look ( thankfully close to the checkout because I had items on the belt) so I quickly retrieved it and was checking out with a kind and welcoming cashier...very refreshing in today's world. He thanked me and wished me a good night. This is the perfect "hometown" grocery store that I highly recommend. We will be back very soon.

Sometimes finding dates that are weeks beyond expiration. I shops at many other local stores, as well, but certain items that Kroger has, with coupons, I come here. The only thing that's going for this place is the customer service. They have a very friendly and helpful staff. Sad about the condition of this store...when will management notice? When will this store get a renovation?

This store has a pretty good selection of foodstuffs. It just celebrated its 50th anniversary. It has remodeled and looks pretty nice and inviting now. They have added a deli and cheese section and that helps me by keeping me from making a special trip to the Walmart deli at times. The prices here are pretty competitive with Kroger, but they do carry items here that Shiloh Market and Kroger do not. The produce here is always fresh, with the occasional exception of avocados, but that goes for all the stores where avocado is concerned. You can get Suitor's slug burger mix here and Gardner's has their own breakfast sausage mix that is always good/consistent. The freezer section has a nice selection of vegetables in larger size bags which is convenient for certain uses. I do a majority of my shopping at Kroger but I do pop in here occasionally for items I can't get at Kroger or Shiloh Market. *** lately, eggs are ALWAYS $1.00 or +, less per dozen here than at Kroger.

You can never get anyone to unlock the makeup products to purchase, no help in the garden center, or in the hunting section. They are plentiful in workers when it comes to shopping online for you but when asked to help point you in the right direction they never can. If you go to this Walmart to get things you will always leave without what you wanted or something different just to keep from stopping at another store. All other Walmarts puts this one to shame. It has been this way for three years. It needs new staff and management asap. I will drive an hour out of my way to go to a different location.

It is hard to comprehend, that in a town fraught with restaurants…read morethat offer chicken on their menu, how does this grungy old gas station sell so much fried chicken? What makes it so annoying is that, at all hours of the day and night, there are throngs of people in here to buy chicken, but there is NOT a separate register/line dedicated to the chicken purchases. When you pop in just to buy a pack of cigarettes you most likely will have to stand 6 deep in a line, waiting on the clerk to finish dropping chicken in the fryer before returning to the register. You can sometimes smell the old cooking grease wafting through the air as you drive through the intersection. Stomach churning at times. The location of this store makes it very difficult to merge back into the traffic as it is at one very busy intersection. There is a ton of foot traffic from the local neighborhoods. The need for cigarettes (husband) on days/hours the cigarette stores are closed is what keeps me/us popping back in here as much as we do. I've not had the courage to order any chicken but my curiosity will get the better of me one day.
