Our server was very pleasant and answered our questions we had about menu items. A basket of thin, warmed chips were served with a mild salsa. The chips were great. I ordered the Burrito Matador lunch special with ground beef, beans, rice, red sauce, sour cream, lettuce and a nice thick slice of tomato. My girlfriend ordered lunch special #1 which was a Chile Relleno, Chicken Taco, beans and Avocado salad. The shredded chicken in the taco was tender and juicy. The portions were generous. For dessert we split a Flan which was very good. Overall it was a positive experience with the exception of the Fabuloso smell and the food was a bit bland. Prepared well however and served hot. It is a very small restaurant. How small? Well, my car would not fit in the dining area. How small? There is a refrigerator by the bathroom. The refrigerator door and the bathroom door cannot be open at the same time. There are 5 table/booths. There is no English spoken here. Drinks are limited to Mexican Cokes, those other colorful sugary drinks in a bottle, and bottled water. Thankfully, I know how to say in weird sounding Spanish, "dos aquas." No chips and salsa on the menu. A torta for my wife and a burrito for me. Both packed with fresh grilled chopped carne asada. The guy working the cash register delivered both meals to the table, then returned with the plastic squirt bottles of very good salsa. My burrito had some seasoned rice, much more meat than rice, though. Also, a little chopped onion and cilantro with the beef. I added a good dose of hot red salsa and WOW. The staff was friendly and attentive. Now the food...everything from the soup to the chicken tenders were handmade. That tomato was to die for! So rich and creamy! Beautifully seasoned and rich in flavors! The chicken tenders were like small chicken cutlets hand breaded and fried to a golden perfection. It even comes with homemade honey mustard which is amazing on its own! We also tried the blackberry bacon and jalapeño sandwich...what? Wow! I cant even describe just how amazing, yet simple this sandwich was! Lastly we got the Park House club. Grilled and loaded with meats and cheeses! So scrumptious! We will definitely go back and can't try more of their menu!
