my father walked in to this store to grab dinner for the family. They have kiosk for customers to use for orders. my father like many other older customers are not comfortable or familiar with using these types of advanced devices. he kindly asked the staff for help and they refused to help. this is extremely sad to hear. & we will definitely change locations. Management and supervisors should know not all customers are familiar with this and should have someone at cashier or at least assist at the kiosk. disappointed. read more

Every time we order drive through food at this location, they always mess up our order. It never fails. Today was no different. I'm highly allergic to onions we said no onions TWICE- they put onions in my pollo bowl. We said no ice in the soda, they put ice and soda was super flat. We ordered chips and salsa with our combo bowl order, but received tortillas instead. Don't expect much when you come here. You'll get customer service from employees that clearly don't want to work which means them purposely messing up your food and giving you nothing but attitude. Disgraceful and these type of people 100% don't deserve to get a paycheck. This was the last time I come to this location. I ordered 2 kids meals with a side of mashed potatoes and got a side of gravy. The tortillas are always warm and soft and I do love their mashed potatoes and gravy and their Mac n' Cheese is always yummy. Easy to order online, store, or drive true. But for this specific location I reduce one star because of the missing foods... Based on several years experience, always some part of the order is missing, just check your order when you are picking up your food in the store, they will fix it. We have had several bad experiences with mobile orders at this location. The most recent one was pretty telling. We pulled into the drive-thru for pickup. "It's not ready yet." No worries, we thought. There were several cars in front of us so we waited in the line as usual. But when we arrived at the pick-up window, we got a more hostile, "It's not ready yet", and an ask to literally leave (the fast-food establishment) and COME BACK. Note that our pickup time was 8:08 and this was at 8:10. The funny thing is that we only ordered two orders of nachos. If we had ordered at the box, they'd have even less time to prepare our food than they did with the notice we gave from ordering through the app. When we were asked to leave and return (and sit in the drive-thru line a second time), we finally asked what was up. We got an urgent, "You'll mess up my timer!!!" When we did get our food, there was quite a bit of rudeness. We ended up being the ones who were super apologetic and said thank you when we were handed the bag, but there was no further eye contact... thank you... nothing. It seems that prioritizing the timer rather than the customer misses the entire point of the timer: ensuring a great customer experience. It also puts the staff in a sticky situation. If the location can not manage a workflow for mobile orders, I wish they would disable them rather than give us an awkward and passive aggressive experience. (But two stars because the chicken nachos are BOMB!) read more

Props to the newer management that has been running this location. Parking is always avail here, and the drive through is usually filled but that's just a quick wait for you. Service is fast here. Foods pretty good! It taste like el pollo loco chicken! If you know what that tastes like it's grilled chicken! Good, decent, and passable, always wish it was fresher. Sometimes a bit more char is needed but this chicken is 60-70% of time, dry. So hit up the free salsa bar they offer, and sauce it up! Green sauce, chipotle and all the other fixings for your entree. Food is not good at this location: 1). chicken thigh from our family meal was bloody. The skin on the rest could've been more cooked to make the skin crispy. 2). The Mac n cheese was also watery with no flavor. 3). The green avocado salsa was so watery and cold because it had ice big and very small chunks. 4). This location does NOT have horchata. Boo! This Restaurant is dirty. It took about 45 minutes from the time we sat at our table to the time we left for someone to clean the eating area including the table next to us. (See foto attached). I asked him for an extra sauce twice because the one he threw in there spilled in my bag of food. I get home and the attached picture is what my food looked like. I don't waste food so I ate it but I wasn't happy with the way that manager handled my food or his customer service. I've been going to that el pollo loco since birth pretty much and I've never experienced this kind of service. If you hate your job so much like your face described when you talked to me and by the way you handled my food then quit. This place is absolutely nasty!!!! So my wife and I came in tonight at 8:08 pm for dinner and when We got my chicken tostadas it looked delicious. Upon putting Cilantro dressing on my lunch tostada a piece of hair came out with the dressing so I showed it to the employee and she apologized and said they would re make my tostada. When I got my new tostada I went to my table to eat and the lettuce under the chicken was frozen like they had the lettuce in the freezer they were kind of yellow and it shows u that the lettuce was not fresh and to top it off the cook was cleaning the grill and spraying some chemical on the grill while there was 20 cooked chickens on the grill next to the grill the was spraying And cleaning.
