So of course, when I went to Pal Campo Restaurant, I had to order the paella. I didn't dine in this time, I grabbed it to go. First impression? They definitely got my attention because there was a big ol' lobster sitting right on top! Now THAT is how you introduce me to a plate of paella. The flavor was really good, the seafood was good, and overall I enjoyed it. My one issue was the peppers and onions. There were a LOT of big chopped pieces that I could clearly see and taste, and for me, that was a little bit of a turnoff. I prefer everything in my paella to blend together a little more. But did that stop me from eating it? Absolutely not. And here's the funny part. I ate the leftovers the next day and somehow it tasted even better! Maybe everything just needed a night to get acquainted because that second-day paella was hitting. So, as your self-appointed traveling paella inspector, I'm giving this one a 8/10. The flavor was there. The lobster definitely earned some extra points. I just needed those peppers and onions to calm down a little bit.

Club/Lounge downstairs so you could really make an entire night of this one spot. If on a budget be mindful there is a 20% service charge added to the total ticket. Food: Bread: crazy to mention but the fresh bread with the butter was so good I believe it had feta in it and it was amazing and spread so easily 9.5/10 Calamari: perfect level of spice and fried to perfection 9.5/10 Short Ribs: flavor was good and really a large portion able to eat off it 3 times 9/10 Lamb Chops: they were delicious but not necessarily the best I've ever had 9/10 Drinks: Drinks were strong with good flavors but didn't stand out, beyond others. Velvet Smoke: 8.5/10 Caresse d'Or: 8/10 Service: Service was decent nothing over the top, nothing to boast or complain about. Atmosphere: It looked and felt amazing! The decor was great and felt like to were in a tropical location without ever leaving Orlando. Price: If on a budget this might not be the place for to go. Worth the price but more align for a special occasion than just a random dinner for the average person.

The restaurant itself is gorgeous. We went for a friend's birthday, and our server was super attentive and helpful all night. I had the carpaccio, which was pretty good, and the espresso martini was amazing (you really can't mess that up). The Paloma was just okay, and my friend's salmon croquettes were a little dry. It is definitely on the pricier side, and they automatically add a 20% gratuity, but you can go directly into Mangos & other bars without cover overall it's such a beautiful experience.

We first got our drinks and that alone told me I was coming back even if it was just for a drink! Apps: Empanadas - Chicken & Picadillo. Came with green sauce which paired perfectly with both empanadas. Papa rellenas - Just the right ratio of potato and meat fried perfectly. Entrees: Both dishes were served with mashed potatoes. The beef had a wonderful flavor and the chicken had a semi sweet glaze. Dessert: The churros were good but they were plenty sweet without the chocolate sauce. The tres leche cake was tiny but dense and I liked that it wasn't overly sweet. I wish this place was a little more lively. Perhaps they can play music. Parking is available in a paid parking garage. Cuba Libre does NOT validate parking.

However, happy we came early because the dinner lasted 2 1/2 hours. Sometimes you don't want to be rushed, and in that case, you have to come here because they will take it very slow. For me it worked up because they started off with complementary Cuban bread and sweet butter, which was so delicious that I was instantly full so I was happy. The food didn't come out very fast besides the magical dining menus. We also ordered the croquetas appetizer. It was presented nicely in a little basket with two sauces. The order had six pieces: three ham and three chicken. They were nice and crispy. However, the filling of both was bland. It was so bland, We couldn't at first even tell, which was which. For an appetizer, I had the shrimp and my friend had the black bean soup. The shrimp are really good and came with a slice of French baguette. The black bean soup was like a side of black beans and really delicious but definitely not a soup. As I mean, I got the vegetarian paella, which was pretty good and my friend had the chicken with mashed potatoes and broccolini, which was also good. The big hit was the dessert. I had the flan which came with a delicious cookie, whipped cream and a dulce de Leche sauce. The mini churros were also really good with a filling and a chocolate sauce. It is not cheap normally so magical dining is a good reason to come here. I also picked this place thinking on a Saturday night there would be entertainment however, there was none of that. We also because of that opted to sit outside because inside it is freezing cold. It was not a bad experience. It was a pleasant evening, but the food has definitely room for improvement. The service was great. Our server was very friendly and did her very best.

The ambiance and the warmth of the staff took me back to the Caribbean--it definitely felt like home. Their menu features a Latin-Asian fusion, and I loved every second of it. We started with the Krab Salad. It was incredibly fresh, topped with avocado, and the perfect way to open my appetite for a sushi night. Next were the Pork Fried Gyoza, served with a sticky, glossy sauce that has just the right amount of kick. They were so good, you won't be able to put your chopsticks down. The Escobar Roll combines shrimp tempura and churrasco--the best of both worlds. It's topped with sweet plantains, chimichurri sauce, eel sauce, and spicy mayo. I had my doubts about all those flavors working together, but I have no idea how they perfected that combination--they absolutely did. The Mar y Tierra Roll was recommended by our waiter, and I highly recommend ordering it in tempura. It gives the roll a completely different texture, and it's absolutely amazing. The Pollo Loco Roll is topped with sweet plantains and teriyaki sauce. It's simple, yet packed with flavor. We finished it all off with a crème brûlée. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd be enjoying one at a sushi restaurant, but it was the perfect ending to an incredible meal. If you're looking for creative sushi, unique Latin-inspired flavors, outstanding service, and an atmosphere that makes you feel like family, The Escobar Kitchen is definitely worth the visit.

The food has always been GREAT. The service and staff have always been great. They are not overly priced and they offer a good amount of food for what it is you are paying for. Flavor profiles are great. I am creature of habit, so I get my usuals when I order here. Among those usuals include the yuca fries, beef empanadas, guava and cheese empanada (when I want something sweet), the plantains, the tostadas, and I also enjoy their bowls. I've never had their burgers or some of their other platters, but I know those that have and they have yet to be disappointed. Being that Super Rico is located on the ground level of the parking garage my job uses, it is a restaurant I frequent. They are pretty quaint inside with limited seating, but they do have a good amount of outdoor seating with covered umbrellas. So, as long as the summer rain isn't too heavy, it is usually quite nice sitting outside to eat. They will also set up screens outdoors when there are major games, like they did for the World Cup. So, if you're ever looking for a spot to watch sports, they definitely do accommodate.
