When I walked in I asked where it was and the security staff told me to go to the 10th floor. You have to walk through the hotel part and go up. Once you get off I promise you, you feel that you are no longer in Terre Haute. I honestly felt like I was in Charlotte, NC. The view is insane looking at the greenery of what makes Indiana so pretty in the summer time (I can't wait to go back during fall to take in the view then too). The music was a total vibe. It was R&B, Chill POP (is that a thing, don't know how else to describe). There is an outdoor patio area where there was a guy playing live music and people sitting on couches relaxing and watching while enjoying a cocktail. I sat at the bar because I was by myself and certainly didn't want to take up an entire couch and leave that for others that may have larger parties. As soon as I sat down my server came to take my order. While I wasn't really planning to eat, once I looked at the menu the Chicken Nachos were calling my name. Even though I am counting calories, I had to order. Man, when they came out they were huge and so so good. You can order the chicken blackened which I did and man it was great. I just sat and enjoyed my very caloric nachos and a cocktail and just really took it in. I don't live in Terre Haute, I live in Indianapolis, but I spend a ton of time in Terre Haute for work. At that moment, I felt proud. I felt proud of Terre Haute for making the investment and proud that they are attempting to change the city by offering things like this. You do have to make sure you get a reservation, which can be tricky but if you do it's worth it. There is a time limit on the reservation, but there's plenty of time for you to enjoy a couple drinks and take in the atmosphere. It's a really small spot, but the vibes are strong. They give you popcorn to munch on while you sip your drinks and the noise of the upstairs is completely drowned out. I highly recommend checking this place out.

It feels like a secret club that I'm a part of! We went on a Friday because they have a dinner menu only on Fridays and it changes every week. Tosh and her husband, Joel, are the co-owners and curators of all the food and cocktails. The presentation and flavors of the dinner and drinks felt like being in Chicago or New York, not Greencastle! It was a delightful anachronistic experience. Nothing that little water doesn't take care of. haha when I mentioned the cake to the waitress, she said it's probably the goat cheese and the mashed potatoes. I never knew a goat cheese being spiced. But, hey, I really enjoyed it! If I lived in this area, I would frequent it a lot.
