The wait was less than 10 minutes which was great. However the doctor seemed to be in a rush and was not very patient oriented. From the time we were put in a room he took less than 2 minutes to walk in and only stayed for 2 minutes. He was not very interested to hear about any symptoms or discuss what my mom was feeling. Every time I went to this facility I got hurt. The last time, I was laying on the CT table to get a CT scan of my lungs and the woman had me laying at the end of the table with my legs hanging off. I told the woman it was hurting my back but she ignored me saying it will only be a few more minutes and don't move. I was in torment trying to hold the awkward position while they completed the scan which took 10 more minutes. Six months later my back still hurts from this ignorant stunt. I brought it to the general managers attention, Nora Saucedo, and she acted as though I was taking her up her precious time and I could tell she couldn't be bothered. Don't use Carlo Hatem, he was prescribing my inhaler; his hateful, judgmental attitude was so excessive I dreaded having to see him. He told a friend of mine he didn't want to see her anymore and don't come back when she couldn't complete a PFT (pulmonary function test) when she had pneumonia. She warned me about him and this facility, but I'm a veteran of the Vietnam War and wanted to give them a chance. The people in this facility from the top to the x-ray tech down to Carlo Hatem seem to enjoy trying to humiliate people, they are sadistic and show no professional demeanor. Look for a good Pulmonary doctor elsewhere, one that was educated in America if you want to get good treatment and shown a little bit of compassion and understanding. They certainly don't practice the Hippocratic Oath (the oath of ethics) here, all they want you to do is tiptoe in there cesspool of bad attitudes and sadistic behavior. Don't you dare complain about anything because they will send you a letter saying they don't want you as a patient, especially if they know your sick. read more

The wait is ridiculous. Sometimes I've waited over an hour only to be told, after asking, that he wasn't even in the office yet. No regard for patients time. Recently had one appointment cancelled, and after rescheduling had the office call to move up my appointment, then waited an hour before leaving. So many "sorry for the wait" from the doctor but never any changes. If you have no place to be and don't mind being disrespected, this is the place for you. read more

doctors ask patients to be there at least 30 minutes before the appointment and they will reschedule if you don't comply. the problem is that even with 30 minutes ahead of our appointments, they still see you 1 or 1.5 hours after it. also, their admin office is really disorganized, trying to get your essential medicine refill is chaotic. read more

My appointment was at 11:30 and I didn't get seen by the doctor until 1:50 p.m. Plan on being there half a day if you need to go here.

Horrible staff!!! Rude, no smiles as they greet you. My mom came to her appointment and the staff was rude. You can not ask the girls in the front desk anything because you will get that eye rolling and attitude. Dr. Hatem on the other hand is great, he took his time with my mom, answered any questions she had, but with the unwelcoming staff it makes the appointment very disappointing. read more

Im preparing for surgery and I do not need the headache. You need to be kind and respectful without the client you do not have a job. I am a patient on the east side office and had never had a problem until I needed to see Dr. Armendarez because I needed my CPAP machine pressure levels increased!! I asked them if I could see him before the 17th of April because I'm going to be having a major surgery and won't be able to come to the office until I'm completely healed from the surgery, I was told that I needed to go to the El Paso Sleep Center for that and I said that this clinic is associated with El Paso Pulmonary Associates through Dr. Gonzalo Diaz and that I should be able to get the right assistance I need from El Paso Pulmonary Associates. I have been treated extremely rude and mean by one of the CNA's/MMA's at the east side office and then I was contacted by someone from the west side office that I thought was an office manager and when I explained everything to her she claimed that I needed to go back to the sleep study clinic and would be glad to make me and appointment and I said "NO"!!! The people/staff at both the El Paso Pulmonary Associates (all campuses) and the El Paso Sleep Center need to be replaced or have a brain transplant because not only do they not listen but they obviously are brain damaged and do not understand or comprehend anything you say which makes me think that they either never went to school, never paid attention in school or graduated from school!!! Don't go to any of their clinics they don't know how to treat people at all!!! This is one of the reasons I don't trust doctors anymore and do homeopathic and holistic medicine now, unfortunately when you have severe obstructive sleep apnea you have to deal with shitholes like these people!!! read more
