April 3, 2026, we order 3 dinner plates items for takeout and they were below average especially the 3 soft taco was tasteless. The Burrito Deluxe was cold and also tasteless. My wife chicken burrito & Enchilada Dinner plate that was cold and tastless. We have much better Mexican food and Taco Bell is better. It looks like the chicken was boiled and shredded tasteless. Husband and I came back to El Paso to give it another try and the service was a lot better than the first time. Our server was on top of everything and made sure to continuously check in on us. Finally, a good, solid L.A style American Mexican restaurant... Since moving to Western Pennsylvania it has been hard finding good Mexican food like we used to get back in L.A. Los Angeles is by far the food capital of the world, especially when it comes to Latin fare. El Paso brings back all my favorite feelings about going to an American style Mexican restaurant. For starters I can find all the different combo dinners I love, such as chile rellenos and enchiladas. I love the fact that they do it L.A style with proper red sauces and not the more common Tex-Mex style white queso sauce that is so popular around here. Met up with some friends this evening for a quick bite to eat at El Paso Mexican Grill. They had tried this place previously and had good things to say about it, so I was excited to try a new restaurant! Tonight I ordered the Burrito Patron, my wife ordered the Burrito Guadalajara, my son got the children's quesadilla with fries, and we all shared one tamale. The burritos were much larger than I expected so in hindsight we probably didn't need the tamale, and could have easily shared parts of our burritos with my son instead of getting him his own meal. I thought my Patron burrito was really good and enjoyed the fajita beef and chicken as well as the Mexican sausage. My wife enjoyed her burrito too but didn't think the chipotle sauce that came with hers really came through. Food and prices were very reasonable and I'm only docking one star for the table we sat at which wasn't very clean. Didn't ruin the experience by any means, but wish the floors and tables were cleaned a little more thoroughly. I came here with co-workers for dinner now that we are able to socialize with each other again. Finally!! I had a hankering for cheese dip with chips. The queso fundito did not disappoint! It was so good! I also had a side of refried beans, which were delicious! The service was slow, and sometimes we got the wrong items (one co-worker ordered a strawberry margarita and got a regular, and another ordered soft tacos and got hard). The waiter was new and wasn't too proficient in English, so we didn't mind. We ate and drank everything. We were just happy to be here. :) The salsa was WAY better than I remember it. I left stuffed. I enjoy el passo as a local Mexican spot! They recently raised their prices however I don't feel as if it's overly expensive for the amount of food you get. I love getting el pastor tacos here as well as their cheese dip. They also make some tasty salsa. The service can be spotty depending on who your server is. Our friends told us they found El Paso and really enjoyed it so we decided to give it a try! We were quickly seated, made drink orders, and were brought chips and salsa. The menu is massive and it took us awhile to figure out what we wanted. I finally settled on the burrito Guadalajara which was filed with rice, beans, green peppers and chicken and topped with queso, corn and chipotle sauce. The burrito was enormous and very filling! The flavors were great too! Unfortunately, I tasted no chipotle sauce at all and the menu said "roasted corn" so I was expecting a little char to my corn but I'm pretty sure it was just canned corn ‍ We had our toddler with us and being the toddler he is, he does not like cooked quesadillas, just a tortilla and cheese on the side. I made this request to the server, but he brought out a cooked quesadilla. Easy mistake, but my son wouldn't eat it--quick $6 down the drain. Is this the best Mexican food around the city? No. Is it good for Beaver County? Yes. I'd say this place is about as good as Mad Mex....not as good but almost as good. The place was very clean and modern. Server was nice and attentive. Liked the free chips and salsa. The salsa was good. I got the beef fajitas which came out super hot and were very good. All of the toppings were also tasty (Rice, Guac). My son was with me and he got the Burrito Patron. He enjoyed it minus the pineapple inside. I tried the sauce on the outside and it was good. Portions are HUGE and prices are low. The menu is also huge so will have to go back again to try something different. Overall will be back. Hopefully the place stays...that mall is so depressing. This is our go to when we don't know where we want to go. The staff is super friendly and we generally get great service. I always go for their pollo con crema. I also love their salsa that tastes fresh and full of cilantro. Their menu is a pretty standard "Mexican restaurant ". So, I wouldn't expect anything outside of that but their food is well executed. This was the worst night ever. I had 2 gift cards given to me which I left on the table to pay for my dinner. I was chased out into the parking lot and was told they are only for the Chippewa location because it's a different owner. There is nothing on the cards that state it's location specific. The names and logos of both locations are the same. They were give to me as gifts. How would I know what location they were for when it's not on the cards and they have the same name and logo. Disappointed!!! I've lived in Texas on the Rio Grand for over a year. I've been to Mexico a billion times and I know what good Mexican food is supposed to taste like, but this slop is not it!!! We decided to try the expansion restaurant at the mail. I ordered a burrito and the ingredients were raw. My mother ordered a quesadilla that was served as a single tortilla folded over on its self... or commonly called... a taco.. All in all, our meal was a very unenthusiastic. Well this was the second time we have dined at this restaurant. I gave them a pass the 1st time (not sure why) because they either forgot to put our order in or lost our order as we watched another couple order, eat, and leave by the time our appetizer came out for the second time. This time, we waited about 20 minutes before I had to flag someone down to wait on us. My shrimp tacos came out as tilapia tacos and we never had anyone come back to our table to refill our drinks or our chips and salsa. I've been here twice and both dishes I ordered were really good (pina loca and the tacos campechanos). Would highly recommend.
