Friendly. Didn't go over the top but then again it seemed like maybe there was a rush and only two servers were on? Didn't matter much because we got what we wanted and needed. I got the shrimp and grits. He got the standard Benedict. I got a side of fried green tomatoes. All was crazy good. Portions were enough to take most home. Food was incredibly rich, but I was happy.

I went twice within 24 hours because the food was simply delicious. I enjoyed the blackened snapper eggs Benedict. Now I am from Florida so I know good snapper from bad and this was amazing. It was perfectly blackened with a great Cajun flavor and the fish remained succulent. The biscuits here are incredible. Huge and fluffy and tasty. I substitute the hollandaise sauce for their sausage and jalapeño gravy which I think was a pro move!! My second day I enjoyed the fried chicken and waffles. I also had a slice of hummingbird cake. If I had stayed in nipples a third day, I would've returned one more time. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back next time. I am in Naples.

It was a little cool at first, but once the sun came up it warmed right up and was super comfortable. The waitresses were so nice and really on top of everything. There were seven of us, and we ordered a mix of breakfast and lunch. Everything came out fast, fresh, and hot. Breakfast was a hit--especially the pancakes. They had this perfect little crunch on the outside, and of course we had to order some "for the table" because that's just what we do. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and all the bacon and sausage were delicious. The lunch crew was just as happy. The bleu cheeseburger looked amazing, and the fries were perfectly crispy. My brother-in-law ordered the chicken fried steak again because he loved it last time, and he said it was just as good--tender, flavorful, and that gravy was spot-on. Overall, Alda's Diner is such a great find. Good, simple, home-cooked food done right. We'll definitely be back, and if you haven't tried it yet, you should!

I ordered the Paul Vanderbilt, which included toast, two eggs, two pieces of bacon, two sausage links, and a slice of ham with hash browns. I did finish most of it. No one seemed to have had a bad breakfast. My youngest grandchild enjoyed her sausage and eggs. Depending on the time of year, I can arrive here quickly or slowly. As any person on Yelp, I did some plate surfing on my way out. I spotted a good reason to come back. I saw a hamburger that seemed to be calling me back.

While scrolling through some of the photos and reviews, I saw the stuff French toast and I was immediately in! We came on a Saturday morning and they were busy enough but not packed. We asked for their first available, which was outside. During summer it's a bit of a risk to sit outdoors, but it was in a covered area. They have a little side patio area, but a lot of the outdoor tables are randomly placed up against the building and in the walkway to accommodate additional guests. It's kind of weird when people that live in the building walk by as the walkways aren't very wide. The inside area of the restaurant is not very large. Our waitress was very friendly and welcoming. Even if she did spill a bit of coffee on me which she was apologetic for. My husband got the crab cake Benedict and I got the strawberry stuffed French toast. Absolutely loved everything! My husband's only note was that he did not like the corn inside crab cake. The cheesy hash browns were definitely a hit for us! The stuffed French toast was divine - basically desert! I like that the dish also came with eggs and bacon! The iced coffee was pretty good as well. Overall, this was a great experience with the exception of the weird outside seating arrangement. 8/10 recommend!

We were seated quickly and a nice thing about the menu, is you can choose between breakfast and lunch. Hubs chose a classic Ruben sandwich with fries, I went with their signature skillet. Portions were large and the food was very good. They offer a variety of breakfast options like omelets, waffles and the skillets. Lunch has just as many options, with salads, sandwiches, wraps, and burgers. Service was good, the wait staff is used to handling large groups and they do a good job. Our server Shannon was very efficient, she stopped by several times to ask how things were going. She bought the to go box I asked for, along with two drinks to go. There was no way I could finish that ginormous meal! It was an enjoyable brunch and next time I'll try their coffee, it's supposed to be pretty good. This restaurant is a great place for breakfast or lunch. Prices are reasonable, clean with good food and service, it's easy to see why Yolk Cafe is so popular.
