I've eaten here more than once. The atmosphere is inviting and nostalgic. The service is amazing…read moreand friendly. But the main reason for returning time and again is the food of course. Delicious, very well made with quality ingredients. You can taste the love and care they put into every dish. They even added some merch so I had to pick up a cool hat.

Honestly a bit surprised by this one given the hype it had coming in but I honestly fail to see…read morewhat the fuss is about with this new Mexican place. Firstly the layout of the restaurant does not do itself any favors in the winter time since anytime someone goes in and out of the place, a big cold gust hits probably 60-70% of the tables really impacting dining comfort. On the food front, my wife and I ordered the Queso to start and then some Shrimp Tacos and a Birria Melt to share. A little pet peeve but the kitchen decided to bring everything together as opposed to letting us start with queso before moving onto the mains. Queso wise, it was just fine. The cheese felt plasticky for some reason and while the chips were good, it wasn't as craveable as queso from other spots in the area. The Shrimp Tacos were way overstuffed and had too much filling to tortilla ratio which made the dish more akin to something you need a knife and fork for then a handheld. I do have to say the Birria Melt was bomb and would probably be the only thing we would order again if we came back. By no means is Los Bandoleros bad, but given the dearth of good quality Mexican places in the area, I can see why its' meh is mistaken for yea as much as it has been.

Depending on what you…read moreget some things to be a little pricier than others, but it comes down to the taste is what you're paying for. We came here twice before I made this review to be fair. I ordered the white chicken soup to go and that's one. I would give a three out of five just because I feel like I could've had a little more flavor to it. I definitely had places where they were a lot more flavorful. We got the flautas which were super crispy super well done, and the tamales were also like homemade. I also ordered the quesadillas, which was very good portions were big, and the meat was the marinated pork which had tons of flavor. My mom ordered the seafood soup. I personally don't eat shrimp so I didn't try it, but everyone else on the table tried it and loved it. There was ample amount of seafood in the soup. The service was great. They were on top of everything and no one to check in onto their customers. Talking about the ambience it's very traditional and it's nothing glamorous when you walk in, which makes it very authentic . I personally came here for authenticity not for a great ambience, but instead great food. Definitely recommend

We decided to give this place a try after reading the reviews. We were looking for some place…read moredifferent to go to after work and this looked like the place to go. We were immediately seated after arriving. The restaurant is small and cozy, with white and green walls, a counter that's decorated to resemble Mexico's flag, and a dream catcher that hangs over it. A TV plays telenovelas by the entrance on the wall and packaged drinks are placed underneath it. Daughter ordered Huevos Con Chorizo, which is Mexican chorizo with eggs. This entree is her usual go to order. She said that it was a wonderful salt explosion and she loved it a lot . She also thought her entree was flavorful. Hubs ordered 3 Shrimp Tacos and thought they were good, but he was eating for dietary purposes. He saw what we ordered and was salivating and can't wait to return. He said that he loved the salsas. Lastly, I ordered Sopa De Mariscos/Spicy Seafood Soup. Hubs and I loved the soup. There was a fish head in the soup but he devoured it. The spiciness of the soup was perfect. Hubs ordered the Horchata and thought it was ok. Service was very friendly and quick. Hubs is already planning on when to go back to try other items on the menu. LOL.

The only issue is that I feel like many of the dishes can taste the same since all of them share similar ingredients, so what's best is to find the one method of preparation you prefer the most and stick with it. You can't go wrong with anything. Staff is friendly and they've been kind when I've ordered out or ate in. The beans and salsa you get for eating in is delicious. The restaurant is also decorated nicely. I hope this place stays open for many years to come.

The burritos are always packed, the presentation of the molcajete for two was amazing, and the quality of their chicken, steak and pork is always great. The salsa verde is 100/10 - I could drink it! You absolutely cannot go wrong with the staples - tacos, quesadillas, burritos, tostadas, fajitas, tamales... they do it all, and they do it WELL. The service is also great when dining in. The decor of the place feels like you're somewhere in the southwest - beautiful colors and imagery on every table, chair, and wall.
