I was greeted as I came into the store, and immediately noticed the huge selection of different brands and numbers of shoes along the far wall in the fitting area. Matt was an excellent employee who sized my feet using a pretty cool 3-D imaging machine that I had to stand on for about 5 seconds. The information was then sent to his handheld computer and, voila, it showed a 3-D view of my feet and a recommendation of shoe size taking into account length, width, and arch - pretty cool! Matt brought out 3 different brands of shoes for me to try on - Saucony, Karhu, and Brooks. Of the 3, I ended up buying the Brooks (Glycerin 23). They fit perfectly and it felt like I was walking on air. To be honest, I've always been a Brooks fan over the years and this shoe just reinforced my perception of what a great shoe they make. The price for these is on the upper side of the market (just under $200 with tax), but actually pretty competitive with other stores. Their store is located in the Bell Tower shopping mall and perpendicular across from Burntwood Tavern. They are locally owned and they expressed their appreciation for me shopping with them.
