This outlet is what I call 'terrible-good'. One one side, it's pretty terrible, but in other ways…read moreit's pretty freaking good. Allow me to explain. I believe this is one of the older outlets in the area. It's set up in small sections and features probably two dozen or so stores. What's great about this place is that it's not busy at all. One of my least favorite things about outlet shopping is that there are always tons of people getting in your way, but not here. We came on a weekend and it was practically empty. No lines in any stores. Speaking of stores, some of them include: Gap, Adidas, Nike, Calvin Klein, Bath and Body Works, Coach, and Tommy Hilfiger. The outlet features pretty basic stores that you can find in any other mall or outlet in your neighborhood. If you're on vacation and don't have options and you need something, I'm sure you could find it here. It's small so you can get in and out in no time and since it's not busy that usually means you can get good deals. If you are on vacation you might as well stop by. If you're a local, you have tons of other options in your area so go there instead.

I did not buy one and find that eBay, Etsy and Amazon have nothing that compares in quality or price. I may have to order one shipped to me in Chicago! The Olde Sanibel Shoppes are a must visit!

They had a lot to choose from between shirts and shoes, which is what we were looking for. We ended up purchasing quite a bit and went twice. I got a pair of cute Croc sandals, my boyfriend got the sandals he wanted and we got shirts for family members as well as some other items. The shoes were priced very fairly. They were double the price at other stores in the area. Make sure to check the back of your receipt so you can use the discount if you go back. We weren't aware of the discount on the back of our first receipt so we didn't take it with us when we went the second time. Jose checked us out the second time and told us about the discount on the back so we knew for the future. We said we had already been there a few days before and wished we had been told by Massiel so we would have brought the previous receipt with us bc we spend about $100 each time. It would have saved us 15% the second time.

No appointment required for taking things in to consign here. The owner, Debbie Fuller, and her staff are very knowledgeable. Ms Fuller is very hands on, especially regarding consigning larger pieces like sofas, coffee tables etc. She will review those kinds of items via email and respond to prospective consigners quickly. Items are priced fairly and there's a color code explaining daily discounts visible at the entrance. Items are often heavily discounted, I imagine to allow sales to move quickly. Lightweight shopping carts are available and designed to maneuver around the vast space which is very thoughtfully laid out and maintained. Brands range from no-name to high-end designer. Regarding clothing, if you want to consign here: be mindful of the season, inspect your things (this isn't GoodWill) and be sure that they're on hangers that you're willing to part with. Don't haggle when consigning, these ladies know what they're doing and they move fast. Talk of the Town Consignment is truly a destination in and of itself.
